I have noticed on new construction, that no1 os installing mimi split systems or even mini split condensers types with air handler on inside of house. What you guys think?
Personally I went for the Pioneer Quintsplit 48k it's just marginally more expensive than a tri or a quad unit with 36k but you just can't beat the comfort of having 3 bedrooms, kitchen and living room independently controlled and quickly cooled/heated. If you only need a 36k I think the Mr. Cool 4th generation option is better with a higher SEER rating. The EG4 hybrids are also great to consider if you want to run the aircons directly from solar panels in the future.
There is no way that mini splits work better. I have a mini split and they only cool a individual room or area, which means that you have to close all doors! Who wants to live with all doors closed?
A little more costly? That's a under statement! Having mini splits throughout a hone cost at least 3 times more than a traditional HVAC unit. Stop lying to people
