This is why I passed on this set, because it didn't come with an optional Sebastian Shaw head!
Hell I'm surprised they still haven't pulled the old Lucas switcheroo and put burnt Hayden Christianson in there when luke took vaders mask off!
😂 they love a switcheroo! I only committed to buying this pack when I saw a SS head available online. You’re right though surely they’d have sold loads more with an optional second head 🤷♂️

Well done! Thanks for the mention and glad it helped you. You did great, just keep those paint layers super thin, blend them until dry with a flat brush and/or let them air dry a bit, as they change quite a bit as they dry, so you kind of need to see what the paint is doing before ploughing on, hiding what's going on and layering more paint on top, so that would be my tip. I do a lot more brush blending nowadays, as if I recall, Brad Pitt was more wet-blended. Check out more of the Lifecolour/Andrea Colour videos to see that in action and Last Cavalry TV YT channel, helped me to use more flat brush dry blending in my painting with acrylics. Came out well though, with a greta personalised version of the figure.

I was thinking of getting this set and doing the same thing. Though now I think the Alec Guinness head needs to be swapped out for one with a slight smile like Obi Wan had. The blank dead eye stare just stands out too much.
@@The_Rage_Kage you’re absolutely correct 👏, I noticed this when photographing them together- Obi Wan has nothing going on and it’s weird for this version

Another hasbro "felony" committed against older and proper and real and original and best collectors... ie. ...US!! 😅 Would it have really killed them to include a Mr Shaw head for the more discerning folk amongst the general hoi polloi, flotsam and jetsam which makes up your average BS collectors. 😅 I frequently despair with "the blo' "

I like the Hayden Christensen change, but I grew up seeing Sebastian Shaw on my Original Trilogy VCRs as a kid. Nicely done my friend!

ah thanks, I'd struggle with the 3.75 scale- 6" is hard enough! :)
It turned out great, especially the ghostly sheen. Not having Correct Anakin is why I passed on this set. I never watch the SE versions of the OT so SS is the only Anakin Ghost for me.
@@ShinGallon we 100% agree. Nothing at all against Hayden C but I think it creates more questions than it answers if you swap them around. It’s disjointed imo

@@CraftyPadawan-gh2ou It doesn't make sense for his ghost to be young. He's redeemed when he's old, then dies. Simple logic.
And even as a 6 year old seeing RotJ in the theater I knew that was Anakin, so it's not confusing.
