This looks fun ! I really like the tactile tiles and that the game seems simple and fast but still has interesting choices like stealing your opponent's pieces. Thank you for the video !
Would love to see some gameplay for this!! I actually have it and I'm just learning it but your video helped clarify some of the rules that were a bit confusing. Thanks!
This is a perfect travel game! Weather proof and pretty much playable anywhere! I was so close to backing this on kickstarter 🤦🏻♂️Great ‘how to’ thanks. ❤
The premise of putting down pieces without cutting off loose ends reminds me of Bandido. The 1v1 tile laying reminds me of Hive, though not mechanically similar otherwise.
@@BeforeYouPlay It's easier to teach than "The Game", but both games play similarly in concept: co-op, restricted play forcing you into less than desireable decisions. Instead of numbers, you're piecing lines on cards like you do with snakes in this game. There is strategy if you respect and play around the odds of getting the ideal card you need for any given turn, but outside of that, it's luck of the draw. It's an okay game at best. I think you guys wouldn't dislike it, but given the range of games you play, I wouldn't be in a hurry for it. It's on BGA if you want to try it out, and if you do like it enough to get yourself a physical copy, you may as well get the +1 version called Bandida.
This looks like a cool game, but I think the constantly flipping tiles and then putting them all back seems very fiddly, especially tiles surrounded by other tiles. Might have to wait for a BGA release to try it.
One work around me and my brother came up with is to just leave the tiles as is because flipping back and forth was too much and then just flipping the end tiles.
@@TheOrgandealer Ooh that makes sense, that would be a lot less fiddly! You would still have to keep track of which was which by tracing it to the end, much less work, but could be a bit annoying. Love little things to make games easier and more accessible!

Yeah you have to be careful not to leave yourself too exposed for your opponent to steal your hard work.
This was a great and quick tutorial - thanks for posting this!
You two find the most interesting games to demo! Thanks for the tutorial!

Thank you!!!
I remember this Kickstarter! I was really interested but they didn't have shipping info available for Canada. Glad to see the review!
What? Yes they did, I’m in Toronto, i kickstarted this and just got my copy the other day (early august)

Haven’t tried Bandido, do you recommend it?

Classic Todd…
Looks like a fun little cafe game.
This game is a little like The Mexican Train, but more aggressive and strategic, which is a good thing. Looks like a lot of fun
A question, we cant figure out. Can you heal a injury using a armored body part?
