      We've seen tons of course creators, and they've all been filled with info that you can readily get from searching the internet. Rarely have they been worth it, especially at a $300 price tag

    Great video Carmine, I always looked back at the trades and see exactly what you are explaining and thinking about turning my scalp trading into a swing trade as well, your videos just confirmed that I'm on the right track to be successful, thanks again.

      If you are just starting out, or not yet consistent, if you trade small like 1 to 3 contracts, your stop loss can be larger so you are not easily stopped out. Important to preserve your capital first!

    I've never heard the term "stop hunt" used in the AMZN example @ 14:40. I typically use a trailing stop loss which is starting to strike me as more bad than good. That scenario would have definitely stopped me out.

    • @mostafaalsultan1828
      @mostafaalsultan1828 2 роки тому +2

      yes but it doesnt have to be. use a stop loss like a limit or a trailing stop loss which will give you a chance at more profit with benefit of a stop loss

    • @ArthurMSoto
      @ArthurMSoto 2 роки тому +2

      Yea, but use risk management. If you can’t manually stop yourself out when your edge/plan shows it is no longer valid then use a hard stop.

    If your trading a bullish wedge anticipating a breakout to the upside out of demand, what do you think of accumulating the position at each touch of the bottom line using a soft stoploss at the bottom of that wedge and selling into the strength of the breakout? rather than waiting for the breakout and retest to enter

    • @Ha-th3sb

    What are the chart time frame ? You’re showing trades but not mentioning chart time frame? So what’s the use of the video content? Everything elaborated 😄but no time frame, tricky video content, what kind of scalping mentality then?

  • @jamescurley8559
    @jamescurley8559 2 роки тому

    So how can I set up a good risk/reward ratio with a scalp if my risk involves selling whole position and my reward involves partial profit for a half position? If I was wrong about my partial target, then I would have to sell all contracts when I was looking for a half position reward. I want to plan for good rewards when being partially right for the scalp because there may be many times where my trending contract will just hit my break even on that lighter position size.
