We spotted a large 500+ lot passive sell order of /ES (E-Mini S&P 500) at the 4450 level which proved to act as resistance. Ideally, we want to see buyers put pressure and show effort to get that seller underwater when the order is filled. We want to see large aggressive buying take out that 4450 seller, get ABOVE the resistance + continuous buying pressure above. If we pullback, we want it to act as resistance like it did in this lesson.
Bookmap is a good tool to read this orderflow and visually see the level 2 (orderbook) and time and sales (aggressive orders) a little better

That's great buddy. I would definitely suggest going through the course as many times as you need to, and for starters simply follow carmine's daily pre game plan and intraday commentary to see how the day unfolds. The less noise, the better. Just stick to SPY/QQQ at first. This dude literally gives you the blueprint/roadmap on the daily! You just gotta be patient for the setup to come to you, then act on it. There's no need to force the action. There will be days where Carm simply does not take a trade, and it's probably a good idea that we don't either lol.
Love the addition of using bookmap to Investitrade learnings. Seeing the LIVE auction participants really gives me an understanding of "defensive trading" against the institutions. Great explanations - thank you!
I’m not going to lie. The book map single handedly changed my ability to hold winners longer. I trade options, and this was the missing puzzle to my structure that I never knew I needed until I got it.

we can't use boom map on currency GBP/USD FOR EXAMPLE
@@nickh9811Hey I think what he means is, when you are in a trade, instead of emotionally selling based on candle charts, when you use bookmap, you are able to hold onto trades until they touch liquidity which can be seen on the heatmap

Why would a large SELL order prevent the price from going higher? Doesn't a seller want to sell higher?
No. If you’re selling, you want the price to go lower.

discord is free, but you need to go thru the course to understand what he's talking about in the chat. there's no signals or plays in there. You gotta put in that work, but I assure you this is the best money spent on a trading course/discord out there, and it's actually a bargain! The pre market plan alone is worth it imo
