After struggling on the 4th formicarium challenge I way over prepared for this one. I got a full pop cap of lvl 3 ants and stockpiled like 25k food. Only ended up using like 3 or 4k food and didn’t realize I could use the scientist’s hand until I had killed almost all the enemies.
Yep, scientist hand is super useful in dealing with the larger enemies by just one tapping them. Also helps against the large swarms of ants. Yea, I kinda overprepared as well for this challenge lol. Didn't know how hard it would get on impossible.
I also got full pop. All lvl 3. almost 50K food. And all skills at 8 or better. So no problem killing everything. But then when he start firing on center my queen dies from fire... While I got almost everyone else alive.. that just "WTF!".
Yea, was a lot easier than FC4. Found this one super easy. The huge increase in ant population made it a lot easier to get numbers to collect jelly faster.
i wonder what happens if your queen dies after he transforms what is his reaction i would have done it myself but i have a potato pc so it lags a lot when its at the final stage would appreaciate if you could try it
He says like 2 words and then the level ends. I believe he says : "No collective... No purpose..." and then hisses and thats when the level lost screen appears.
There’s Sustain and Preserve. Sustain heals nearby allies when the medics hit enemies Preserve makes an aura, like the leafcutters, that heal nearby allies when out of combat. Stacks up to 5 times only. There’s then field medic and surgeon Field medic allows medics to heal ants outside of the nest and just behind the lines, rather than at the queen. Surgeon reduces the revived debuff to 85% of the original ant stats, rather than 60% of the original stats.
If it was to be made harder, it'd probably be by allowing the contraptions to follow the ants more and reaching further (to the entrance of the nest), although storyline-wise FC5 is probably the best ending to a game I've ever seen so it's still a 10/10 level
imagine if they kill him the entire colony just starts spilling out like a bunch of baby spiders

Nope, that’s also disabled. You can open up the menu, but it won’t let you add minor upgrades
+even if u could it would prob just reset it back to what it was before so eh

I beat it on impossible 3 days after it came out lol, this challenge isn’t as hard as fc 4.

Yea, its the REAL Final experiment though, so it's more to end the story. Doesn't have to be super hard, found it quite easy while testing too lol

Yea, the challenge is on the easier side. It's supposed to be the end to the story, so I can see why the level is not super hard.
