I love the almond flour pancakes..To get rid of the grainy texture sift the almond flour. I always keep a container of sifted almond flour available at all times.. When ever I’m baking with almond flour sifting is the key😋 Give it a try I think you will love the results😋

I made almond flour pancakes for the 1st time an they were gritty. They tasted good. I made them again today but put them in my food processor. They were awesome without any grittiness.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time and energy to put together this video. I have been keto for a little over a month now and it has been more of trial and error. But every day I get better and still been getting results because I refuse to give up. Anywho, I have been making Almond pancakes and have been very happy with the results. Today I decided to try making pancakes with the coconut flour and not really that happy with them for the same reasons you stated. I started to second guess myself and then I found this video. 😁 I am grateful to you. This video allowed me to see that it wasn't just me being that you communicated my thoughts almost verbatim. When they started crumbling I was like oh wow what did I do wrong? Especially considering I followed an online recipe as with the almond pancakes. Again, thank you! & Keep shining Queen!

I hope this helps someone out there. I prefer the coconut pancakes, but they are a little more crumbly. HOWEVER, if you add 5-10g of psyllium husks to the coconut pancake batter, it holds them together well. Anyone on Keto will have this in their keto cupboard. PLUS you're adding extra fibre with no extra carbs and negligible calories. This makes the coconut pancakes the best of the 2. I LOVE watching real people doing these recipes. The reactions are usually more honest and genuine. Try them with some whipped cream between the layered pancakes. WOW (and it gets your good fats up if you're on keto). Both are good though. So go with the easiest for you. X

@@ukelilly Not sure what that is. But if it's similar to what we call fibogel, then I don't think it will be. It's very easy to find on Amazon or in health food stores though.

thanks naomi, i havent had a pancake in months, and have been looking into this keto style of eating, after lossing 72.5lbs, i bought both flours and all ingredients, but i wanted to know from the people, which flour was the best to go with for a pancake, and i was leaning towards almond, im glad you said almond, i think friday afternoon i am making these for my second and last meal of the day it should be a fun dinner, thanks. i can't wait to have a pancake, i bought monkfruit syrup and monkfruit chocalate chip morsels, sugar free of course.

Try adding 5g of psyllium husks to the coconut flour batter. It makes them hold up really well, and makes them better (and easier to make) than the almond flour pancakes. PLUS you're greatly improving on the fibre and the macros are better for keto. Hope this helps.
