I started watching you guys to learn about fiberglass, but it’s your family dynamics that make me come back.
As a father with two daughters (6 and 10), I dream and aspire of having what the four of you have! I do take notes, i.e. you remember a camera was dropped, and especially Ty’s reaction was setting an example for the dad’s of the world. (I can’t remember who dropped it, Syd or Mads), but the thing was, she blamed herself more than enough, so no “telling her off”, or blame was needed or cast, quite the opposite, that’s good parenting! And I believe Kim fixed it!
You guys rock!

I lived in Florida for a total of 22 years. I now live in the state of Montana. I am a commercial truck driver who is currently cruising across the state of Iowa headed east. 17° here, snow on the ground, dry roads though. Boy do I miss that Florida weather about now. I absolutely thoroughly enjoy following your family and the hard work you're putting in. I can't wait to see the finished product.
pro tip, I tape and paper around the ground edges of the repair, When I lay glass larger than the repair, after the cure, I can grind around the perimeter down to the edge of the tape and just peel off all the extra glass and squeeze out around the edges. You can grind down to the tape using it as a reference. When possible I wet up all the layers on a piece of plastic wrap. Then I take it to the damaged area and install it carrying it by the plastic. Then I then stretch the plastic taught and tape it on the edges. Lastly I take a smooth plastic scraper and smooth out the repair squeezing out the excess resin onto the paper without effecting the layers of glass. once it is dry the plastic just peels right off.
