    Just came across your channel since we are looking at the Geo-Pro/E-Pro and we are looking to tow with a Jeep Cherokee. I am currently undergoing targeted treatment for stage iv lung cancer. We are looking to make some great memories and I’m so excited to have found your channel. Looking forward to learning some tips and tricks from your work. Thanks!

    Thanks for sharing your cancer experience. Your journey means a lot to me because I have stage 3 cancer and it's been a huge lifestyle change. I gave myself a reason to be positive about the future and expect the arrival of a Geo Pro FBTH in September. Because of surgery dates, I won't be able to take it out for a while but plan to make up for lost time as soon as possible. I hope to see you sometime when our paths cross. Take care.

    We have the same camper, purchased last July. I can't wait to retire and join you on the road. For now, it's nearby festivals and lakes. I noticed in one of your video's that your handrail by the steps was bent and twisted:) I'm wondering if you did it the same way we did. My son bent it out the other way to hang something on it. A storm started rolling in and unaware, we closed the awning on it. Warning to you other GEO owners out there!
    BTW: I too am a cancer survivor and bought my first camper during that period in time, it's now 20 years later and cancer free!! God Bless you two. Be Safe.

    Jason, as a fellow stage 4 survivor, I am overjoyed to hear your prognosis. Someday I hope we can catch up with you guys in our Geo Pro. For now im still working full time and the camper is sitting idle, full of antifreeze & covered with snow. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring message and thanks for turning me on to the Rockwood Geo Pro !!!

    Hey Jason, glad to hear you're doing well. Yes you can run a microwave in your geo pro, I do it all the time. You'd want to get a 2000 w to 3000 w inverter to comfortably run it though.

    • @GeoProAdventures
      @GeoProAdventures  6 років тому

      Grant H Cool! Does it drain your batteries super fast? We have 2 6v ran in series & a 100w panel for reference...

    • @MrChip9821
      @MrChip9821 6 років тому

      @@GeoProAdventuresif the microwave in yours is the same as mine, it is a 700w output and about 1150 input, it will draw about 100 amps from the battery. With your setup, you would be able to run the microwave for about 50-60 minutes to get the batteries down to 50%, but of course you'd only be running it for a few minutes at a time so it works out great. By the way, the battery meter isn't accurate while you have a load on the batteries

    Inspiring story. Can't even imagine how scary that diagnosis must have been and then the courage required to subsequently decline chemo. Your story is truly incredible. Here's to many more years doing what you love. Cheers

    Jason, you are an inspiration. Your journey back into empowered well being is nothing less than a miracle. I just put my deposit down on a 2020 Geo Pro at a small family owned RV shop in Puyallup, WA. I was thrilled to find out that you've stopped by there for parts in the past. Dell instantly knew who you were when I mentioned your videos. I took it as a good omen. After my years in the military I've struggled so intensely man! I'm overwhelmed by the hope and renewed vigor for life this decision is giving me. I'll be going to sleep to the rhythm of the Pacific this coming memorial day. I give all thanks to God for finally allowing me to breathe again. I'd like to give you a hug someday man. I wish you and your lady continued health, everlasting joy and many more safe travels. You gave me courage to unbind myself Jason. Thank you. 🙏💪☝️😇🏞️🌅🌊🏕️🐸

      Mixedvisions360 Thank you SO much for the kindest thoughts - I really appreciate that:) And yes! Puyallup, WA saved the day for us! We ran our awning into a tree and after removing it with a little blood & tears on my end, we hauled that awning & arms around for 3 states and nearly a month before we could coordinate a place out of the snow belt for repairs. When we finally pulled into Puyallup, they had everything including a crew ready to work on us & get us back in the road:) Forever grateful for the family owned RV places that we’ve come across on our journey.

If we think of ourselves as energetic beings rather than physical, we open ourselves to a whole new world of understanding and possibilities. I also love your camper! MrProjectOasis Thank you! You get it:) I love the limitless possibilities of our energetic souls - I have a very spiritual awakening that shaped my knowing that I have today. I probably need to crest some type of new channel though, because it has little to do with camping;)

    • @MrProjectOasis
      @MrProjectOasis 6 років тому

      Geo Pro Adventures I know what you mean. I also had an awakening about 10 years ago and that has changed my view of the universe and our place in it. My strongest connection is through nature, whether in the woods on my property or on the ocean in my kayak, that’s where the “noise and illusion” disappears:). My daughter was diagnosed with cancer just after her 21st birthday (now 2 years clear) and she has embraced the experience and come through with new strength, courage and spiritual awareness. I am in complete awe of her and people like yourself who, when faced with a challenging life event, choose life, not fear. Best wishes.

    • @GeoProAdventures
      @GeoProAdventures  5 років тому

      David {Claus} The Way Of Mastery by Shanti Christo Foundation. I bought mine on amazon for about $37. It’s channeled work. Even better & free is on UA-cam, search Way of Mastery and its a free audio book broke down by chapter - the narrator is amazing and has a voice like Wayne Dyer :) I listen to a chapter as my morning meditation now & have been through the book a few times:)

    We are planning on buying a geo pro this year and have been enjoying your videos of life on the road in one. We will need to upgrade to a more powerful vehicle when we do this and don't want a truck, would prefer an SUV. Looks like you use a Jeep Commander and don't have any issues with mountain driving. In your travels, have you talked with other geo pro owners? If so, what do they like to tow their geo pro with? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    • @GeoProAdventures
      @GeoProAdventures  5 років тому +1

      sandra fleming We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a V6 & 6500 pound towing capacity. It does well even in the Rockies. I’d recommend a SUV that has at least a 4000 pound towing capacity but more is better especially if you’re traveling in the mountains.

    I'm so happy that your cancer free Jason. I'm glad you live life, love life, and enjoy life. My Dad died from cancer In 92, and now my mom has stage 4 lung cancer with only 2 months to 1 year to live. Keep the awesome videos coming Jason. We purchased the same travel trailer last June, and so far we love it. It's been winterized and at an outside storage place until spring. Would love to get solar. Is it expressive? Approximately how much was it if you don't mind sharing.

    • @GeoProAdventures
      @GeoProAdventures  6 років тому

      My love & prayers go out to your mom. Send me a private email to geoproadventures@gmail.com & I’d love to reach out to your mom (if that’s okay).
      As far as solar - ours is the factory solar package. It’s GoPower brand solar and I think you could get the entire setup under $1500. There have been a lot of viewers that really like the portable “solar suitcase” that you can position to best capture the sun. It should hook directly into the “solar on the side” that is already on your GeoPro. I’d try to go with 200w solar & a 1000 w inverter on whatever solar system you decide. I think it kinda pays for itself over time by allowing you more flexibility for boondocking & dispersed camping which is free in states like Idaho, Colorado & even some places in California. National Forests are sometimes free or a fraction of the price as National Parks but there’s usually no services.
