When I first played Kingdom Hearts 2(on the PS3), I already knew the Organization's goal, but during KH2, Sora didn't. So why did he fight the Organization when as far as he knew, all they wanted was to have hearts again. It didn't take long to figure out the answer; Because they lack hearts, the nobodies can't feel emotion(as far as Sora knew). Without emotion, there is no sentimentality or familiarity. Without those, there is nothing to spark morality. Organization XIII would do anything to get their hearts back, no matter who got hurt along the way.

Kh2 set a standard for the Kingdom Hearts series that I don’t think can ever be fully recaptured. The music, the combat, the emotion...nothing else can compare to this fucking masterpiece of gaming history

Christopher Dark he high key just did not, there was no crazy phases, Yoko didn’t do the music, there was nothing cool like Session to perform, no giant spectacle set piece, hardly any weight between Sora and old Xehanort
