I only just found your channel, and it's wonderful! I will be back to check out many more of your videos.
I've been to Iceland only once, and it was just for a quick bus tour, on an Iceland Air "stop-over".
I need to go back. Beautiful video! 😁

Thank you! This video convinced me to book a trip to Iceland in August :) Do you think this is a good first itinerary? 2 nights Reykjavik, 6 nights Fimmvorduhals trail photography, 1 night Reykjavik. It will be my first time in the country

If you have all your camping gear with you it will be a great trip. It’s easy to get in and out from Thorsmork with busses leaving daily. And if you feel up for it you can continue up the laugarvegur trail, full hike is about three days. But you can also just hike to the next station Emstruar and return. It’s a fantastic start and you will never get bored there.

@@RH-adventure I'm doing more research, sounds like another option is to take one of those pre-booked bus services from Reykjavik to Landmannalaugar and hike/camp the entire way down to Skogar and take #51 back to Reykjavik. Only "issue" would be constantly looking back at the waterfalls at the end. Anyway, thanks again for the video - super helpful.
