Thank you for not covering all the chaos with a voice over or music. I was feeling a bit discouraged with some other UA-cam content because I couldn't figure out how to get our schooling as beautiful as some of the other creators I've watched. I had unintentionally glossed over the fact that it was all muted. 🤦♀️ Thank you for sharing your real life with us. You have no idea how encouraging and motivating it has been!!
You're welcome! Really appreciate this comment. That's exactly why I show it. I want to encourage moms. Beautiful content is inspiring and sometimes that can be helpful when you are looking for ideas. Other times, you just want reassurance and support. I hope this channel helps moms know that homeschooling doesn't have to look a certain way to be really good.
Applesauce on the ceiling...i had to laugh out loud. Ahhh those moments feel so frustrating, and just one more thing to add to your already "packed "day but I love your biblical encouragement in those moments...."those that are faithful in little are trusted in much". Oh yes...help me Jesus!! Yall are done for the year! Yay enjoy being outside and playing with your kids. Im soooo ready for that this next week!🎉
I homeschooled my daughters, but those days are now behind me. It went by so fast! I truly admire your commitment to your family. It's a beautiful thing to watch...even as an empty nester.
Beautiful family! I appreciate glimpses of the chaos too. :) Happy Summer to you & your kids. We school year round but have already switched to our summer routine which is a lite load from May-July.
Wonderful video thank you for sharing your encouragement! This is my first year putting together a portfolio for my daughter and I was starting to feel overwhelmed. I think it’s amazing what you just accomplished! I thought it was going to take me a whole week lol! Your video showed me that it doesn’t have to be so daunting. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day
Loved this, super encouraging on the hard days or days when it just all feels overwhelming. Do your kids have an in person piano teacher or did you use an online platform?
Yes. We are in PA and our state requires you to do a portfolio. To find out what your state requires, I use this link from hslda. hslda.org/legal Even if it wasn't required, I would probably still do it. I like for the kids to have something to show for the year. They like looking back at previous portfolios and remembering what they did.
