OMGOsh!!! Erica, Thank You So Much. The final stickers looked so professional. I use Canva often, but never thought to use it to make custom warning labels! Girl UROCK!!! First Mock-Ups and now Warning Stickers. Thanks for sharing.
Yay I’m so happy it helped you! You are more than welcome! ☺️❤️
Thank you so so so much for all your help. You have been a blessing to all us candlemakers. Tomorrow we will be designing our warning labels with Our brand on it. For a fact I will be watching this video again at the same time I am designing our labels.
Awww I love that, I’m so glad it was helpful!! Enjoy! ☺️❤️
I was literally going over your last video on this topic when I saw this upload!! Amazing timing 🙌🏼 thank you for you video, I just finished creating a label using Canva. My absolute favorite resource for design
Oh good!! And honestly it’s become my favorite as well! 💜

thx Erica for sharing, I have been think of using canva but was a little confused. Now I will go for it.

I was just struggling with this! Thanks Sarah! 🙏🏼
Great information. I've used canva, i like the site. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for doing this, I was trying to figure out so hard to figure out a way to make these labels with my business name. Totally forgot about Canva when I had just used it to re-design my candle labels. LMFAO!
Thanks hun! - From Georgia
Thank you for this!
GIRL! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
You’re welcome! ❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Great video very informative. 😊
I’m so glad! Thank you for watching! :)
Do you have a video on the legal aspects of starting & maintaining a candle making business? I started watching your channel a few days ago, and now I’m hooked! 😁
Wow this looks so great! I've been wondering how to adhere to the state/zipcode rules without having to put my address on the actual product label.
Great video! 😁
Thank you!
Thank u so much for the info I was wondering what printer you use and where do u get the sheets to make your stickers from
I’ve always wanted to make my own warning labels but I talked myself out of it. 😂 I made it more complex then I needed to. I’m going to do some and put my price underneath it.
So informative! I will definitely be purchasing from your Etsy shop. Doing it this way, where would we put the number of ounces and grams? On the label on the candle?
Either one! You can put it either on the candle label or the warning label!❤️
ok I've been obsessed with your channel the past few days! Came across you while doing some research. SO HELPFUL! Where did you purchase the small IG and Facebook logos from on Etsy? I dont see a link to that in your description. Thank you!!!! :)
Hi! Thank you! ☺️ I don’t remember the ship but if you type social media icons on Etsy, there’s tons of people that sell them!
Thank you for always helping us out! Hope you can make a video about the printer settings, every time i print my labels have to constantly changing the setting to get the best print possible but still cant get it right. and also how to take product pic with a dslr camera, Iphones are great for pic but nothing compares to the image quality of a dslr camera, I got a cannon but cant get it to take nice products pic. Thank you again for all your help.
Thank you for watching! Glad it was helpful. I will definitely make more printer/product photography videos. What lens are you using on your canon?
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo I have the basic one that comes with the camera the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, I can get it to take good pic on automatic but I know there's more I can get if learn how to use the manual setting. I'm thinking on investing on a better lens but i'll be in the same boat if I don't actually learn how to use it :(
@@jaryrojas8706 look up UA-cam videos to learn how to change the settings around, I’m still trying to learn the manual setting. I bought the 50mm lens (my m50 needed an adapter for this lens) and it has been incredible!!
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Thank you for your time Erica! I'll look for some more videos! hopefully i can get this right soon than later :)
So we don’t need to add the actual street address as long as we put the city state and zip code? Do we still legally need an address for our business as mentioned in the first label video? I’m hesitant on using my own address and am considering getting a virtual address but can not find much info on people who have done so. Thanks for all the great info in your videos! 😊
good content friend
You are awesome!!! I have created labels in Canva but I am having trouble getting them to print in a full-page as you did in the video. How do you do that? I really appreciate your videos, so much great valuable information. Thanks
I use maestro label designer to print them out (because I purchase their labels) but if you use Avery labels I know you can also use their program to print them out :)
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Thanks I will give them a try.
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Do you upload your Canva design to their program to create the full page label?
What type of sticker paper did you use for the warning label?
Thank you so much for this information. Great demonstration! Can you provide links for the warning label icons that you found? That would be helpful too. Thanks!
So glad it was helpful! And I just typed in “candle safety icon” onto Google! ☺️
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Thank you Erica! :)
Hello and thank you for sharing great content and details with us. I do have a question. Can I put candle weight on warning labels instead of it being on the front of the label?
Yes!
Thank you Erica, so much. I purchased your warning labels from your Etsy shop :-) last month. Thank you for all your help and knowledge.
@@MrJensmile1999 thank you! ☺️
Hi will these warning label helps with my candles in jars/tins? Will the customers knows how long to burn the candles and when to switch it off. Because I saw different warnings label and some says specific candles to let it burn till it’s show the melting pool. How come these warning labels doesn’t say that? I did find the warning labels stickers and it’s didn’t say to let it burn till melting pool.
and I don’t know whether to buy readymade or make my own sticker? Please help
I am following the same exact steps you did, but I am having trouble trying to transfer my design from Canva to the Maestro Label Designer Software.
Erica, do you use any of cutting machine to cut your print out?
Not for the warning labels, but I have been playing around with making stickers with a silhouette machine!
Hi Erica I have a question, I know that you use 02 eco wicks from cal candle supply (I do as well) but sometimes they are sold out. Is there any other brands of 02 Eco wicks that you like to use as well?
To be completely honest, I have only used the eco 2 wicks from CCS ❤️
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo thank you for your response :)
I am curious. Do you use bar code in warning labels erica?? Is that really important to do it??
How do you get the sticker paper as a circle? I got sticker paper from Walmart that’s just one big sheet of sticker paper, do you big specific paper for the printer that already has the circle cut out? Thank you!!!
I get mine from online labels! They come in 1,000’s of different pre-cut shapes and sizes!
Question lol. Your memory box candle co but you said brand was sunshine. Can you explain the difference?
What info due you use for your warning label on melts?
Question can you put the net wt on the warning label or does it have to go on the product label?
It can be on the warning label!
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo thank you so much for getting back to me! I really appreciate you and your videos they have helped me so much! Thank you for taking the time to make them.
Were you using Maestro before?
I still use maestro but I figured this will help anyone, especially those who use Avery labels :)
What is so crazy is that when i create my label on canva it looks incredible !! But then i go to print and the text is so tiny and can't even read it??? My size of circle labels are from AVERY 2" what size of circle are you using????
Could you please help…
I need to provide 10% CLP template for each fragrance, what does mean?
Please help!
Can I put my warning label on a box ?
Do you still need insurance if you add this label in?
I would highly recommend it. This label isn’t really going to protect you.
should it be 'on a leveled surface'? instead of level, not native sorry
