I'm sick and tired of seeing people say this isn't black metal or this is black metal. Just friggin enjoy the music. Who cares what it is? It's metal and this music provokes emotions, which is what's important in my opinion. Hands down my favourite off their new album.

Yes ok, it is good Black Metal but "Limbo" and "Mirage" are better albums (way more tremolo picking in each song wich I love so much) then "Coma", I can clealy hear that the singer is another one (one of the guitar player of the original line up now), I dont know why the original genius singer left the band ... ?!?!
I'm not sure if that song is about the big, bad S or a case of deadly selfdefence. I can imagine that in both cases hell breaks lose, one stands at a fateful divide, one is trapped in torment, that no words can explain why one choses as they did. And in both case, a string (of life) is rashly cut.
Yeah, something like that. I find the post/gaze elements a bit off, but I guess complaining about that is like pretending breakdowns are *core, not *metal.
What I love most about autumn is just how good and immersive this kind of music becomes. Got bands like Heretoir, Unreqvited, Draconian, Anathema and Gaerae playing almost nonstop
For me, the examples of what Modern Black Metal should be like are: PANZERFAUST - The Suns of Perdition: Chapter I - War, Horrid War Mayhem - Esoteric Warfare THE RUINS OF BEVERAST - Blood Vaults I'm not saying that Gaerea is a bad band, but it falls quite a bit in Black Metal For me, it's Blackened Metalcore or something like that You may agree or not, but don't take all this too personally
