I appreciate all of the feedback in the comments both positive and negative. I will admit that my math was wrong in the XP section as I didn’t realize that you could earn more in ranked and from agencies. I also now know that the gacha heroes will be available to be unlocked with hero tickets at a later date. That being said, I still stand by my point that these mechanics feel like a mobile game and that in a character reliant multiplayer console game like this I believe that the majority of characters should be unlocked from the start. As for the skill issue lines, I know I’m not alone on these issues as I’ve seen the very same complaints from others. This games just ultimately not for me, but if you like it then more power to you. I’m glad you guys were able to find enjoyment in this game that I wasn’t.
By nature if an issue is based on skill other players will complain about/experience it too and some of them don't need to exist even after you understand them tbh. As for characters I can't see that becoming free tbh as that's the thing most likely to get people spending money. I don't like gotcha systems but it's nice that you're not forced to pay too unlock if you just wait or get lucky. You're unlikely to play every character anyways and tickets every 8 hours that allow you to play anyone
The main reason why it might feel like a "mobile game" is because a small team is developing the game, and the same team also works on JJK Cursed Clash.
I understand your point of view, I don't think the game is perfect, especially with long range dominating, but it definitely has potential. With a few tweaks, extra additions like more characters, I believe the game will be beyond plus ultra. Right now I'm still having fun despite some of its downfalls, I look forward to seeing if this game will rise or fall.
I think my main complaints are how it's insanely difficult to grind(or buy the bp ones) for characters as a f2p player and how easy it is to get comboed when you have you no shield cause you flinch at everything and can't defend yourself, it's worse when you try out a character and it just ends up being wasted I do like it but it's v rough atm I hope it gets better soon at least

I hate battle royales, but this is the only one I'm actually playing. I felt for you in the beginning because the game encourages you to play the game a certain way that isn't viable and makes the game unenjoyable, but the solutions you have provided make it sound like other battle Royales and makes the game boring. The character mastery aspect of the game is what makes it appealing, not the number of characters available. Cosmetics and characters make the rolling system boring yet rewarding. The truth is if there was just one more game mode and it could be ANY game mode 90%, if not all the problems would be fixed. I suggest an Arena mode too

Complaining about smoothness and dying is definitely not very true as you have to get used to the gameplay as its a battle royale and trust me its far from not smooth as ive seen people straight fucking shmooving everywhere. Dying is a straight skill issue no matter what you try to say due to it being a battle royale. Getting experience is actually very based on not just placing but kills so. I guess get better at combat? Also theres gonna be 113 characters so dont complain about that either. Aim assist can be turned down for sure but aim assist will always exists so no point in complaining about that either. At the end of the day most of it is based on pure skill. Experience, actually combat smoothness and not dying are pure skill based in this game like most Battle royales are doing such as apex. So theres my defense to the game. Shigi, kiri, and denki for example are hard countered by any character with movement which is a majority of the roster. So its mainly learning how to play characters. I think comparing this game more to apex instead of fortnite wouldve been smarter as those games are much more fundamentally the same.

Not to nitpick but Your math on the xp for the battle pass needs recalculating because If you win ranked matches you gain more xp around 1,000 if you just enter a match and it varies depending on your ranking and grade score if you win you get around 10,000 but yeah the grind is ridiculous im at tier 15 and i have to get 345,000 xp to level up the next tier and i can't imagine tier 20 and i played 198 ranked matches and on 39 of them so it really depends if you play unranked vs ranked and how well you do still doesn't excuse the ridiculous grind tho
It was painful listening to this guy complain about not getting everything for free and having to work to unlock stuff 😂 it's a good game definitely needs some tweaks but it's very fun especially if you're a mha fan I suggest trying it out it's free have you're own opinions. Good luck have fun!
Hes not wrong the combat is janky do to range attack getting hit stun and haveing no invulnerable you only get it in guardbreak or moves with knock back it almost immediately ends when you touch the ground and dogeing is weird

dont forget you can also gain the same amount of exp for both battle pass and the special section in the license, playing in CPU ( hard ) its an alternative way from playing against real players so if you ever feel like you want to rank those xp faster or try new characters you go there. the more dmg you do ( score ) the more xp you get i found shigaraki, and kirishima do well for dmg same with bakugo and anyone who you can comfortably use. i did this and xp didn't became a problem to do. in fact since there is no limit how much xp we get, i get the battle pass done under a week or less then a week same for the special when getting almight ofc will take longer to do but you get what im trying to say.. but ofc its a better alternative at whatever your pace is. if you have the spare time to do it by yourself if you got no one to play with atm or whatever. it def beats getting tiny amounts of it on a regular match or ranked even more if you join up/make an agency with 100% exp boost. plus they even have a perma buff to get extra xp regularly and it stacks.

shoto, bakugo, and deku, all 3 desperately need nerfs though, its definitely not a skill issue when they can beam you from a long range and theres litteraly not a thing you can do but get stun locked until death. This game is 🔥. Despite what everyone says about the monetary and character unlocks I have unlocked all characters without spending a single dollar(I play A LOT). I also got the battle pass for free with the crystal they give for free. My only complaint is no crossplay and slight balance issues that need to be addressed. Everything else can be improved if they truly care about the game. I agree with the cash grab but that's on the company not the developers who put time in creating this game. I'd counter your rating with a 6.5 and it would jump to 8 if they add crossplay and create a healthier balance in abilities. Then again this is just meant to be mindless fun and it definitely achieved the fun factor.
Just so much wrong about the characters section. The different "classes" distinctions are that they provide the team with a passive buff depending on their rolls. 3 striker characters will do more damage on a team together, but will find leveling up to be more difficult. Also you can unlock 4 characters with tickers, get hero souls not hero crystals from rolling duplicates, and unlock 6 characters by leveling up not thru the battle pass. Genuinely makes it hard to build a community around a game when people just lie in videos about it.
Also while certain characters are harder to get, I've been playing the same 2 characters I had access to on day 1 and have been kicking ass. The balancing is really well done across characters imo so having a pool of 6 characters with 10 you can unlock thru normal progression and only 4 you have to roll for, being aizawa, momo, kirishima, and endeavor is kinda fine?
What games are you playing that are f2p that eveything unlocked free Valorant? Not free. League of legends? Not free Apex legends? Not free Smite? Not free. Predecessor, overprime any moba? Not free. There is not battle Royale or any similar game that every character is free
Its a gimmick game that I hope gets better because it got really boring and repetitive but it's also just so unbalanced. The movement is off, the available abilities and items aren't all that great and you basically can always win with certain characters. People are so quick to defend and say skills for you but there's actual issues with the game that just don't make it playable or fun. I will say I played the game without any friends so that also made it harder to coordinate with other people. I feel like I may enjoy the game a bit more with friends but I am installing it till it gets its later updates that will improve the game as it inevitably will.
I used to think the same about the cash grab shit but you can actually get a decent amount of characters in not too much time for free. Theres plently of free bonuses they give out that allow you to get the unlocks. The worse ones are 3 you have to get with the gacha system that I agree is some bs

You’re math was completely off, you probably didn’t preform well on that match where you won, even before the change it was 3k now it’s 5k exp but your agency has an xp double bonus whenever you’re in the agency and it levels up, you get double xp making it 10k making it only 10 hours to get to level 27 if you win every match
Ive never seen a single all might in ranked after 1 month, Red Riot wins nearly every game. Everyone who picks dabi sucks, but not as a players, as people. Engenium being able to pick up people and run because he did it in one episode of the manga, but then implying, no one else, can pick up another person , is just a little, completely fucking stupid. 5 Heros stand out as complete functioning ideas that are not balanced, but are fun, every other character feels like they ran out of ideas, and 1 of the 5 is cementos, so, yikes.
You make some fair points but others are contradicting, skill issue or just a general misunderstanding (which I blame the devs for as the UI and systems are confusing at first). For example you can't make point about the low player count and then later make another saying it feels like there are more players because the game is so chaotic. I also can't imagine them making all characters free to unlock tbh but only new characters are unlocked via the Gotcha system and later move to character tickets. The Battle pass you only have to level up once then you have the character forever so if you play the game even occasionally you should be fine especially with the tickets that allow you to play characters you don't have. I unlocked Bakugo so quickly I didn't even realize he was locked behind the BP and he's easily the best character in the game rn. The game is clunky in some ways though such as the long startup on some actions like jumping after pressing jump. Considering the game is free and fin to play I can recommend to try it especially being less than 7GB.
With the special license max you can get from one game is 5k while being in an agency with 2x you can get 10k defs not gonna get it every game but it’s there and possible
I was honestly kinda excited for this game when it was announced (mostly because Mt. Lady was a playable character here). I played it for a little bit, but then afterwards I just got bored and never picked up the game again.

I've never felt like the combat feels clunky. It feels fine to me. I do agree that a lock on system is required. Exp you get from winning could also be a bit better, but I understand it's in it's early phase. The devs are listening to the community which is a great sign. I've been having a blast at this game. What he's saying about the Battle pass is not true I haven't even played 24 hours of the game and have all of the battle pass and the special battle pass completed all you have to do is spend at the most $10 that's all I spend to get the regular 4800 Crystal battle pass which is the standard and spend every single Crystal you get after that on the special license just getting an alliance and use XP boost
this game will be banished to the shadowrealm soon, no crossplay means dead.....it was the same with shinobi strikers no crossplay and the xbox players just gave up because most people played on ps4, xenoverse 2 also no one online on xbox but is packed on ps4 no crossplay and the same fate for storm connection

My biggest tweaks would be increase skill cooldowns..add a lock-on...make an actual block trigger that builds up until it breaks, and all aiming skill should b completely free aim. Also it would b nice to have more hp so 1 combo cant kill you 😂
In summery this game is essential 3rd person league of legends the br with my hero skin drapped over it, wirh a prority on grabbing cash from those who enjoyed the show. Probability would've been better if they just made it a 3rd person fighting br but that would've taken to much effort and they wanted to cash in the free battle royal + gacha money printer idea they had. Yall want a fun 3rd person fighting game that feture cool and unique skills, play Rumbleverse another free br thats been out for a couple of years now. Rumbleverse basically does everything better then "My hero ultra(*rumble*)" attempted gameplay wise 😑
It has strong aim assist on, it's so strong it's almost as if you're using an aimbot. Everyone who plays with long range characters are cheap and not great at close range combat.

Aim assist does need a tone down I agree but when it came to the movement you just have a skill issue dogging does give you s and aloes you to dodge attacks and for climbing you have to hold a or tap a for wall jump the only thing I agree with for movement is that if you are not the frog girl or bakugo or deku you lose a 1v1 because they have to much movement while a lot of characters don’t beside dabi because he does ALOT OF DAMAGE with a good passive

The game is amazing, im even more excited with the leaks of over 100 characters, new maps, new systems, gamemodes, etc.
This game is 🔥. Despite what everyone says about the monetary and character unlocks I have unlocked all characters without spending a single dollar(I play A LOT). I also got the battle pass for free with the crystal they give for free. My only complaint is no crossplay and slight balance issues that need to be addressed. Everything else can be improved if they truly care about the game.
I agree with the cash grab but that's on the company not the developers who put time in creating this game. I'd counter your rating with a 6.5 and it would jump to 8 if they add crossplay and create a healthier balance in abilities. Then again this is just meant to be mindless fun and it definitely achieved the fun factor.

Just so much wrong about the characters section. The different "classes" distinctions are that they provide the team with a passive buff depending on their rolls. 3 striker characters will do more damage on a team together, but will find leveling up to be more difficult. Also you can unlock 4 characters with tickers, get hero souls not hero crystals from rolling duplicates, and unlock 6 characters by leveling up not thru the battle pass. Genuinely makes it hard to build a community around a game when people just lie in videos about it.
Also while certain characters are harder to get, I've been playing the same 2 characters I had access to on day 1 and have been kicking ass. The balancing is really well done across characters imo so having a pool of 6 characters with 10 you can unlock thru normal progression and only 4 you have to roll for, being aizawa, momo, kirishima, and endeavor is kinda fine?
Coff Apex you need to pay to get any charter also next season the facts charter become hero tixit charter so it's really easy

Its a gimmick game that I hope gets better because it got really boring and repetitive but it's also just so unbalanced. The movement is off, the available abilities and items aren't all that great and you basically can always win with certain characters. People are so quick to defend and say skills for you but there's actual issues with the game that just don't make it playable or fun.
I will say I played the game without any friends so that also made it harder to coordinate with other people. I feel like I may enjoy the game a bit more with friends but I am installing it till it gets its later updates that will improve the game as it inevitably will.

You’re math was completely off, you probably didn’t preform well on that match where you won, even before the change it was 3k now it’s 5k exp but your agency has an xp double bonus whenever you’re in the agency and it levels up, you get double xp making it 10k making it only 10 hours to get to level 27 if you win every match

You make some fair points but others are contradicting, skill issue or just a general misunderstanding (which I blame the devs for as the UI and systems are confusing at first). For example you can't make point about the low player count and then later make another saying it feels like there are more players because the game is so chaotic. I also can't imagine them making all characters free to unlock tbh but only new characters are unlocked via the Gotcha system and later move to character tickets. The Battle pass you only have to level up once then you have the character forever so if you play the game even occasionally you should be fine especially with the tickets that allow you to play characters you don't have. I unlocked Bakugo so quickly I didn't even realize he was locked behind the BP and he's easily the best character in the game rn. The game is clunky in some ways though such as the long startup on some actions like jumping after pressing jump. Considering the game is free and fin to play I can recommend to try it especially being less than 7GB.

I've never felt like the combat feels clunky. It feels fine to me. I do agree that a lock on system is required. Exp you get from winning could also be a bit better, but I understand it's in it's early phase. The devs are listening to the community which is a great sign. I've been having a blast at this game. What he's saying about the Battle pass is not true I haven't even played 24 hours of the game and have all of the battle pass and the special battle pass completed all you have to do is spend at the most $10 that's all I spend to get the regular 4800 Crystal battle pass which is the standard and spend every single Crystal you get after that on the special license just getting an alliance and use XP boost

this game will be banished to the shadowrealm soon, no crossplay means dead.....it was the same with shinobi strikers no crossplay and the xbox players just gave up because most people played on ps4, xenoverse 2 also no one online on xbox but is packed on ps4 no crossplay and the same fate for storm connection
i love this game but the gacha system thats pretty bad and hard to unlock character other than that i like the gameplay very much this game is so addictive for me i think after few update game will be good

My biggest tweaks would be increase skill cooldowns..add a lock-on...make an actual block trigger that builds up until it breaks, and all aiming skill should b completely free aim. Also it would b nice to have more hp so 1 combo cant kill you 😂

In summery this game is essential 3rd person league of legends the br with my hero skin drapped over it, wirh a prority on grabbing cash from those who enjoyed the show.
Probability would've been better if they just made it a 3rd person fighting br but that would've taken to much effort and they wanted to cash in the free battle royal + gacha money printer idea they had.
Yall want a fun 3rd person fighting game that feture cool and unique skills, play Rumbleverse another free br thats been out for a couple of years now. Rumbleverse basically does everything better then "My hero ultra(*rumble*)" attempted gameplay wise 😑

It has strong aim assist on, it's so strong it's almost as if you're using an aimbot. Everyone who plays with long range characters are cheap and not great at close range combat.

Aim assist does need a tone down I agree but when it came to the movement you just have a skill issue dogging does give you s and aloes you to dodge attacks and for climbing you have to hold a or tap a for wall jump the only thing I agree with for movement is that if you are not the frog girl or bakugo or deku you lose a 1v1 because they have to much movement while a lot of characters don’t beside dabi because he does ALOT OF DAMAGE with a good passive
It’s a fun game relax they will patch everything eventually
