Everyone i see play the demo keeps ralking about how impossible it is to perfect perry/dodge. And then there's JC doing it in his sleep like the fucking chad he is. I knew it wasn't impossible if even someone like me could get it down.
I felt that the parry/perfect parry was way more intuitive and forgiving than perfect dodge. The slow-mo effect of perfect dodge always messes up my timing, specially noticeable against consecutive enemy hits.
I understand that the yellow crystals below the enemy health bar are destroyed by perfect parries and when they're gone you can do a finisher like in the Souls games, but what is the second white bar below the health bar? I don't get what happens when that one is gone (or how to deplete it faster other than by regular damage).
If you look at the skills, there is a shield-shaped skill that can destroy the shield. It is probably L1 +O. After the shield is destroyed, the blade-shaped skill L1 +🔼 damage is amplified.
Dude the music goes way harder then it needs to but that sold me on the game already, along with the weapon skills and satisfying mechanics. But man the music is top tier, it totally sucks you into the combat. They put some actual love and care into the soundtrack and combat like nier and dmc and Souls games do.

Every gameplay I have seen in this my focus was and only was for the silky smooth bouncy wobbles I really was stunned and mesmerised by her that the gameplay went just like that with my hand sticky at the end
Is there a counter move you can do after it? I do it and she jumps away and that’s all I can do? No special move after doing it? He looks stunned like you can do retribution but that doesn’t work either

@@tehCostHD basically the distinction between startup, swing and recovery isn't very pronounced, which makes the attacks feel a little limp. of course this game isn't BAD, it's just not quite on par with the best. if you want to see what I mean look at FF15's regular weapon movesets. those are REALLY bad, like noctis is swinging a foam sword around.
