I think Toby being a medic train is a cool idea regardless if you wanna make more of these or not; like, Henrietta could be converted to a mini hospital on wheels

I don’t think Toby would fit as a medic train. See, medics need to go to the wounded troops FAST.

@AlterMike actually I think with his speed or small body along also his quiet sounds compared to the others I think if he's given camouflage green to go with his brown paint I think it would be better if he was a more of a scouting engine. He and Henrietta are both camouflage and with a Henrietta having soldiers in her arba scouting team.

Cool idea. This idea was actually called a m*a*s*h until. I forgot the meaning behind it but if you watch the tv show with the same name or look it up it should tell what it is.
I remember that wonderful railway series book where Thomas blasted through the front lines. Truly a classic.
All jokes aside, I love how these look. (Plus we don’t know what happened in the 1940s on Sodor. So for all we know, this could have happened.)

The WW2 model showcases were some of the first videos of yours I watched. Not many people have made WW2 themed models and seeing these made them feel fresh, new and something different.
I see Gordon being the type to flex how many airplanes "he" shot down in an hour.
'So much so that I'm making an entire fleet. Sodor will be armed to the TEETH!'
And Toby rolls through it all STILL not giving a single solitary fuck.

I loving homage to The Great Race and a play on words considering he has a cannon he can use to SHOOT down the enemy troops.

I could imagining the armour truck saying: "I CAN TAKE YOU ALL ON!" base on a quote from transformers revenge of the fallen
Henry would definitely be the type to join a hippy commune in the 60s, he probably have flower power painted on him and have tinted specs.
"Bust my buffers!" Percy said, as his crew once again shot down another B-17.
What you could do for Percy is put a mortar in the truck and put the cannon on a warwell wagon. Also maybe add some steel plates onto Gordon similar to Fallout Sodor. Maybe have James be a troop transport.
James would probably like that, he still gets to pull passengers in theory. I know it’s WWII themed and James would be very serious about it and put aside his posh behavior but I couldn’t but think he’d still be doing the job he likes them most.

You know, I love the idea for World War II engines, and I sort of have a head canon of my own for it. Use it if you want, I don’t mind. So in the Railway Series, Thomas came to Sodor in 1915 during World War I. In 1940, when World War II was starting up, he wanted to fight in it, helping Britain be unscathed by the Germans. He managed to persuade the main 11 engines to join as well, and now I think I want to make WWII engines myself too. If it is alright, of course.
Almost at 50k. Just need a couple thousand more and there we go!

I do think that if I were ever to do something like this myself (I'll probably never have the money or expertise) I would use Hornby models, which despite being less accurate to the series, would make them look a lot more realistic to real life, and you could probably model them after the RWS instead. And they probably have a black A1/A3 somewhere

I really like what you've done with these models.
May I suggest some additions around the face areas on these and similar loco's. I think it would go a long way. Right now they feel almost "unprotected". But since you can't exactly give engines an M1 Steel Pot Helmet, I suggest something like a neckerchief around one of their mouths. And also maybe a pair of goggles on another loco's forehead.
Maybe try fitting a garrison cap around a chimney on one. Also on tanks stowage was a big thing. I think if you put some wooden ammo crates on Gordon's running board. And maybe a rolled up tarp hanging on ropes on one side of his boiler, it would look cool.

I would like to imagine Gordon coming across a tank that is heavily damaged but the canon is in good condition so the tank crew managed to install it on Gordon’s cab.

Remember the truck on Henry from Sodor Fallout?
What if Henry was like that with some modifications like a couple of flatbeds with armaments on them? Flak Guns and AA Cannons with a couple of black old express coaches that have MMG’s on them. Henry is already green, just have to paint him a few different shades of green and you have some camouflage. Plus he took this role because he knew James wouldn’t be strong enough and Gordon would be too busy with Evacuation trains, as well as Spencer.
You could make a series based on your ww2 customs! Loved the work on them.

Why does the Percy model have such a bulbus black undercarriage? Thomas doesn't, and the bearings are normally the very last thing on the chasis before the base keeper plate 🤔
I feel that if you want to make Paxton or diesel you should make them heavily armored and with a turret and face cover which would look nice but since they use diesel it could be some what explosive but that's just wishful thinking

Imagine this. Toppam wakes up and heres the news that war has broken out across Europe and is spreading rapidly, and goes to Tidmouth to spread the news. By then, rumors have aprung about a "Big Battle" happening. Toppam tell them the truth, and tells them Sodor will have to defend while the war continues. He would also send in some engines to help other countries during the war. Case and point, this! 😂
So you know how Rosie is a SR USA class locomotive? well her class was used for shunting in great Britain and north Africa? well you could take a Rosie spray paint it black add a couple details and then turn it into a engine used in the front line.

Understandable, that’s largely why I stopped making them myself. Eventually I figured I’d rather have engines with sense than engines that look like a Mad Max fever dream lol

Hope to see more usage of British equipment on them than USA. Granted, the US did lend lease tons of equipment to the British, including machine guns and tanks, but I still think it’d be more appropriate to have some heavy British guns mounted on them. Give Edward a Vickers gun, James gets two Vickers Ks, Henry gets a QF-2 two pounder gun with two Bren guns, etc.
The model reminds me of the "movie" the great adventures of thomas the movia that was suposedly take time in ww2
