Hi Beth, came here via Karen Brown's JGIDQ and so glad I did, this is a great technique to add to my arsenal!
Found you courtesy of Just Get It Done Quilts (Karen Brown). Great technique! I have quite a bit of fabric I can cut and make scrappy HSTs with whereas before I saw this, my scrappy stash was just building with nowhere to go. Genius solution. I also appreciate you and Karen’s approach to that 7/8’s triangle rule 😁 which is always a sticking point. Thank you! (Subscribed)
Came here after watching Karen at Just Get It Done Quilts. Fascinating 👍

You are a genius! I am so in love with your method! If you ever write a book I’m buying it as fast as I can get it! You are pure awesomeness! Thank you for this wonderful idea it’s perfect for me too!
This one is a new one on me. I really creative process that will net an awesome scrappy quilt. Thank you for your creative juices and thank you for sharing!!!
If you leave them sewn together until you need them, it’s a great way store them, ready to go.
Wow! I saw this on the Enquiring Quilter, what a game changer!
Me too! Thank you Karen for this link!
Mind blown! Came over from JGIDQ -- love your umbrella cushion there too :)
Terrific idea! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing the idea and making the video!
I got lost at the part where you were showing the half square triangles on the pillow but everything was covered up by that big white square with a umbrella on it. I’ll keep checking it out though, it looks like a great idea.
Agreed!! Drawing the line is archaic!
I can't wait to do this. Thank you for sharing
Where is the rest of the video? It cuts off at 3:45.
