What a fantastic sounding album. Was my first Kreator album I bought back in 2002. Thrash with just a touch of melodic death elements scattered about. Love it.
Everytime I see death in the genre I immediately give up.

May not be a popular opinion, but this may be my favorite Kreator album and YES I grew up on the old school stuff like Terrible Certainty, Pleasure to Kill, Extreme Aggression, but goddamn this album is just epic.
V.R. is definitely one of all-time favorite albums but Enemy of God is right up there with it. KREATOR rules they kill it live.
Something about "RENEWAL " keeps me super close to the next level. As long as I can hear that album after I die , or in my next life , I don't mind getting struck by lightning today.

It feels like return home again after too much experimental albums in the 90s. After days listening their discography I didn´t liked so much Renewall and Outcast, I just liked more Endorama and Cause for Conflict.

Grandísimo álbum en que volvieron a lo mas alto tras su paron que hicieron mille supo volver a lo mas alto este disco es el mejor de la era con el guitarrista nuevo los e visto cinco veces y no me canso de verlos en directo lastima que no pude verlos en concierto de esta gira del álbum los vi a partir del siguiente album pero como siempre derrochando mille i companyia la mayor fuerza i es que kreator es una de las mejores bandas de thrash metal del mundo es el orgullo europeo del thrash metal

Still I think it's one of my fave Thrash Metal albums. And still I think we have to refuse corruption of this socialistic brave new world - not be a servants of dark forces. Kreator descibes evil, but I believe don't worship evil. To purify the World is to make ALL the sins of our civilization transparente and do not hide anything. But not doing old mistakes again! We can be free creators of civilization of love and prosperity without any help by out-of-Europe civilizations. Still we can. Just do not lie. Do not steal. Do not kill (except in defense). Do not rape! Just work hard, have a hobby, give birth of wonderful children in families. Do not forget of our roots - learn from history and philosophy about what was god, and what was bad. And I think we can find a time for good Metal music, without being satanists. Hail from Poland!
A brilliant and beautiful opinion, Man. Totally agree, but, sadly, i believe Kreator, or at least Petrozza, are real satanists. Since "Enemy of God" the lyrics has gone more and more wild in these territories... and in socialism.

Para homenagear os brasileiros, a banda fez a música Smoking Snakes. Essa música fala dos soldados brasileiros que lutaram contra os nazistas na Segunda Guerra Mundial. Em especial, essa música fala de três soldados brasileiros que morreram em combate e foram enterrados pelos alemães com honras militares

They still bring it! After all these years..Mille kicks ass on guitar..this is progressive thrash metal at its best.
I love this album and I love Mille but this not Prog nor Tech Thrash, not even close.

This is an awesome sounding album. The track V.R. sounds very much like a XENTRIX track.

Since this album, Kreator has had a huge melodeath influence. I for one welcome it, even if people seem to have tired of it by Gods of Violence.
God Of Violence is a great album, one of the best their creation with Phantom Antichrist.Same Melodeath elements were in EA and COS but this style didn`t be at that time.Maybee sound of Carcass`93 and At The Gates`95 was very similar with Kreator`s sound 89-90.But Kreator still stay thrash and melodeath elements made this music just better.

@@Userius1 I never like PTK and EP even at 80`s , no good solos, no interesting riffs, no deference among the tracks... And too bad vocals.They have had quallity from Terrible Certainty.
@@spiritinblack370 I think they did have some cool riffs. Pleasure to Kill's title track has a good riff I think. I also really like Riot of Violence and Command of the Blade. Endless Pain reminds me a lot of Venom which I like, and PTK has a raw brutality. Bonded By Blood, Seven Churches, and Hell Awaits are all as good in that regard while having better songwriting though. I'm with the fans that really like the classics but at the same time I see how it wasn't sustainable and how Kreator took steps forward after those two, and now they're making really surprising songs like Lion With Eagle Wings Obviously PTKs biggest legacy is influencing the cover to Doom.
Btw, your name is referencing Slayer? That's my fave song on SITA along with Skeletons of Society.

Amazing but i would say not their absolute best, but still high tier album here. So weird that litereally every album outside of their 92-99 run was incredible. 2009-2022 being surprisingly strong. Even though i prefer the sinister vibe of their 80s albums
Бля, ну пиздатый ведь альбом! Не понимаю, почему его всегда обделяют вниманием. Возможно даже, самый мелодичный из всех креаторовских творений. Причём, мелодичность тут здоровая, в меру, не такая зашкаливающая, как, например, на Фантом Антихристе. Да, альбом немного затянут, но... помню в 2001м он был как глоток чистого кислорода после невнятных (чего уж тут) альбомов 90х.
А что не так с Фантомом, шикарный альбом, альбомы 90х тоже вполне, особенно по сравнению с фуфлыжными трехаккордными первыми двумя.Крэйтор этим отличается от большинства безликих трэш команд играющих одно и тоже в стиле найди три отличия в последних 10 альбомах, что умеет сочинять музыку не теряя ни грамма в тяжести и брутальности,а в 00х и 10х еще и научились создавать хиты.
