@@pts9250 It's absolutely amazing. Honestly, I don't know how "Run" compares to this, but this song truly gives me goosebumps each and every time I listen to it.

This is by far my favorite piece of music ever used in a film, this was the perfect song for this series and gives you every feeling from the movie as well. Amazing song
The 28 days later theme always had a sense of "hopeful hopelessness", if that makes any sense. It's dark, dreary, and anxious. But it's always pushing forward, always looking towards the future and trying to get to the peace that once was. It's a perfect metaphor for both the infected and the main characters journey through the film.

I prove he is the Jewish Elohim, in my series on my channel, and in "Proof Satan Rules The World Ergo The Bible is Right" which has over 3,000 slides of evidence.
Awesome description. The song is all the more powerful when it plays in the one scene of Cillian’s character walking in the empty streets of London. It just makes you as the viewer feel so unsafe, wondering if the characters are going to make it or if the nightmare is going to end at all.

This song really does make you feel panicked.......lost........scared. Emotions that fit perfectly for an apocalyptic world. I can imagine a guy walking through a field with a gun anxiously looking for rage zombies then starts running as the music builds.
This music helped me a lot when i was a child suffuring alone thanks for the recovery my masterpiece i am 25 right now the new generation keep this forever ❤
Watched this with my class at school last day before spring break, I was 12 and that was my first experience in horror movies. Listening to this 10 years later is pure nostalgia
This song really does mess with your emotions. It is like the beginning is where you are thinking to yourself, "I survived this battle." Then you are looking around to see the bodies all over the field and then you start thinking, "so, many have died. How did it get to this point?" Then as you survey the field more, you start seeing your love ones. Laying lifeless, you then start feeling a sense of panic that you are alone. And right then, you feel the anger rise and question, "Why were we selected by the hands of death to die this way?!"
and then you say with your own voice shivering,"so...... This is war..." (And then you break down into tears with a loud scream only to be heard by those lifeless ears lying on the field as far as the eye could see)

A part of you wishes that something horrible happens, maybe then you would stop feeling so empty. and then it happens, as the drums kick in you realize that one of those *things have spotted you, they make horrible, horrible shrieks that alert tons upon tons of those amalgamations of flesh start shuffling towards you, you hear the sounds of their groans all around you. This is when you realize, this is the end, there is nothing left after this, no help, no return back to normal, no afterlife, no nothing. You will die trapped here, on this planet. Once so full of life now deserted and turned into a dark reflection of itself, and the worst part about it is that even though you feel the intensity of all the fear and dread, you still feel as empty as before, if anything, you feel more empty. @@spaghettibolognese5838 Damn bruh, the way you say that makes it seem like he had choice. It was either stay with his dumbass wife that chose to go after the kid instead of staying with him and escaping, or try saving his wife with absolutely zero chances of survival.
A masterpiece. It builds slowly, and then bursts into an explosion, all the while, holding your attention in a trance like state. A ground breaking piece
Though 28 days later wasn't technically a zombie movie (They weren't dead, they had a virus) I still feel that it was by far the greatest horror film in this genre. The writing, the acting, the cinematography, and oh yeah, the soundtrack, all were perfection. One of the most emotionally gripping and terrifying movies I've ever seen. 10/10.
+mr5elfde5truct 28 days later recreated the whole "zombie" genre. I have no doubt that walking dead would not exist without 28 days later paving the way. One of the greatest British films of all time without a doubt, along with trainspotting this cemented Danny Boyle's place in the most elite class of directors to have ever existed.
Uh,wrong: "traditional" zombies and ragers are both fucked by a brain disease. Both of them technically die before they turn hostile AND they're never gonna return to their previous form(normal human). For all intents and purposes, this was a zombie movie.
i remember hearing this many years ago, and for a really long time i didnt know what it was. though i do really want to point out something creepy that happened whenever i remembered it. often at times, some days at a random time i would decide to remember the start of this theme, but when i would think about it, a sudden noise would happen somewhere in the house which seemed to distract me from listening to this. but upon going back to remembering it again, yet another sound happened i think which distracted me away from thinking about this song a bit more, and it often scared me. because of that, i used to not try to think of this theme anymore. but while going through a playlist just now looking for a theme which is often used in memes, ive finally found this again. this theme is amazing, and ive wanted to know what it was for 7 years, and now i finally know what it is.
I'm one of those "essential employees" that can't stay home. My building is mostly abandoned. Only a few of us maintenance people come in on rotating shifts. Normally literally thousands upon thousands of people are in the building at any time. I blare this going into work as I drive across empty parking lot after empty parking lot. It's surreal. I hope you're all staying safe out there. Edit: small update. I'm now the only one coming into my building, save for a couple security guards to make sure I don't have a fever when I come in. Building is otherwise abandoned and empty. Just me maintaining everything so we have a building to come back to. I played this and stuck the phone in my pocket walking around the empty building. Creepy.
@@DKy0 they sort of self regulate- they've all been given a touch free thermometer. Too high they're sent home. Layoffs and mass firings within the company have started, my job is still thankfully safe.
I love the sound of all the instruments. The sweetness of the bass, the body of the acoustic guitar, the consistency of the drums, the rage of the electric guitar, the aura of the sound effects... and that ostinato, so immersive. This song understand the steps of our decadency in a zombie scenario: - Starts calmly, nobody except for the scientists knwon the inevitable. - It increase the amount of instruments, the society is now in danger and we know it. - Explodes with the electric guitar and the cymbals of the drums, nobody is safe. - Ends with the same instrument it started with, with a similar riff, but slower. The world is in peace, the streets are silent. There is no good or bad end, just a world that, seen from afar, is the same as ever.
2:13 Your mom says she's almost home, and the house better is clean. You frantically get up trying to clean the whole house, rushing trying desperately to put everything in its place. 3:31: You hear the door open your soul leaves your body. The house is still a mess, she's yelling already, she's on her way to the room to grab the belt and beat your ass.
The spy has already breached our defenses. You've seen what he's done to our colleagues. And worst of all he could be any one of us. He could be in this very room! He could be you, he could be me he could even be...
I always thought zombies stories and games and such could be very immersive, gripping and overall pretty awesome, but they weren’t “scary” for me before I saw this movie. The masterful way it was shot, edited and acted already makes this one of the greatest genre redefining horrors of all time... but this theme carries it to truly legendary movie status. Easily the best zombie film ever made in my opinion.
One of the greatest films ever made. The ability to capture such a powerful set of emotions by bringing this idea of a dreadful, bleak state of reality to life in such an authentic way is astounding. The emotion from the songs also are so compelling. It's like that arrangement of musical notes on those specific instruments was always meant to go with this. Here's a perfect metaphor: its like the music and the movie are two different languages that are saying the same thing when you translate them! And going further, the movie/song conveys the PRECISE emotion and tunnels its way into the depths of your soul to inform you of something not quite attainable with the intellect. It's beyond intellect. It touches the nerve of the soul and pulls you deep down the well of feeling. The whole project: absolutely extraordinary!
Back during the start of the pandemic when everyone was freaking out and storming the grocery stores, my buddy when into the office of the store he worked at and put this on the speakers. He got fired for it.
This virus was necessary to push humanity to evolve its consciousness. It targets indiscriminately, so now that our world is crumbling, those who placed too much value on the wrong things because they were unevolved will have to turn to us lightworkers for mercy!
This theme defined the bleakness of the 28 Universe. You can feel the sense of hopelessness, loneliness and overall depressing tone of the theme that fits so well with 28 Days and 28 Weeks. Bravo to the composer of this.

The most beautiful soundtrack in a movie, ever. I've never forgotten this beautifully haunting theme. It's perfect ❤️🔥
I just think of Jim’s revenge in the mansion when I hear this. One of the most powerful scenes I’ve seen in a long time
Jim is a simp declining offer to join them while entire UK collapses
I think of Don leaving his wife for dead with a random child and abandoning his family and friends to die from the zombies and running along that green field to the boat…
Yes exactly, this was the song that played in that scene. The way he pushed his eyes UHGG
@@spaghettibolognese5838 Damn bruh, the way you say that makes it seem like he had choice.
It was either stay with his dumbass wife that chose to go after the kid instead of staying with him and escaping, or try saving his wife with absolutely zero chances of survival.
Me too! Him running in the rain…coming into his true nature in order to save the women he love! 28 days later was a MASTERPIECE OF WORK! ♥️
If this song played when woods shot mason in black ops 2 it would’ve made the scene 1000x better than it already is
Dude yes.
woods: NOOOO MASON!!
and he would just be panting and running
DAMNNNN, YOU ARE RIGHT
Whoa
The scene plays a really similar song anyways
Somewhere, a middle aged bald-headed man is having a panic attack.

Agreed! Something really messed up and scary about this film love it
I loved both, but days later was slightly better. Still amazing films tho.
+Kurt Cobain hey kurt how's being dead going
+mr5elfde5truct 28 days later recreated the whole "zombie" genre. I have no doubt that walking dead would not exist without 28 days later paving the way. One of the greatest British films of all time without a doubt, along with trainspotting this cemented Danny Boyle's place in the most elite class of directors to have ever existed.
Uh,wrong: "traditional" zombies and ragers are both fucked by a brain disease. Both of them technically die before they turn hostile AND they're never gonna return to their previous form(normal human). For all intents and purposes, this was a zombie movie.
And this guy is going to be the superman legacy composer
i’ve never even watched the movie but everytime i hear this song i just got a feeling of unease and i get covered in goosebumps
Still waiting for months later
28 Years Later...

theRandomBrandom 28 Years Later... we are still waiting.
28 decades later...? ay? ;)
28 sentries later
fucking depressing , but I like it.
i remember hearing this many years ago, and for a really long time i didnt know what it was. though i do really want to point out something creepy that happened whenever i remembered it.
often at times, some days at a random time i would decide to remember the start of this theme, but when i would think about it, a sudden noise would happen somewhere in the house which seemed to distract me from listening to this. but upon going back to remembering it again, yet another sound happened i think which distracted me away from thinking about this song a bit more, and it often scared me. because of that, i used to not try to think of this theme anymore. but while going through a playlist just now looking for a theme which is often used in memes, ive finally found this again.
this theme is amazing, and ive wanted to know what it was for 7 years, and now i finally know what it is.
This movie will always hold a place in my heart. Saw it high in theaters and not only it was a good movie but the soundtrack took me out of body.

My building is mostly abandoned. Only a few of us maintenance people come in on rotating shifts. Normally literally thousands upon thousands of people are in the building at any time.

It's surreal. I hope you're all staying safe out there.
Edit: small update. I'm now the only one coming into my building, save for a couple security guards to make sure I don't have a fever when I come in.

I love the sound of all the instruments. The sweetness of the bass, the body of the acoustic guitar, the consistency of the drums, the rage of the electric guitar, the aura of the sound effects... and that ostinato, so immersive.
This song understand the steps of our decadency in a zombie scenario:
- Starts calmly, nobody except for the scientists knwon the inevitable.

Yes i agree.
I think Project Zomboid would be perfect for ya then
I love the calmness in the beggining changing into maniacal insanity
Never has a piece of music created such a sense of foreboding as this does.
28 days later is still the greatest movie of the early 2000 it always be a badass movie of all time
