Very honest guy....👍
Hi, Dr Aman. I am an MBBS graduate from Sri Lanka. I have done 1 year internship (6 months in paediatric and 6 months in gynae and obs), 1 year in neonatal ICU, 6 months in Anaesthesia and currently working as a medical officer in ICU for 3 months. Is there any chance of getting an MTI post if I clear the MRCP 1 and English test? I have no clear idea about this post-qualification experience. By the way, thank you very much for doing these helpful videos.
Hello,
You would need post graduation for MTI.
2 broad ways - Either get to PLAB or complete entire Membership exams.
If u want to persue career in critical care go for EDIC exam instead.
Best wishes.
@@UKDreamers Thank you very much.
Hi. While most of the trusts require GMC reg. as an essential criteria, how is it possible to even get a job? 😔
Have a look at my video about MTI medicine
Thank you for this wonderful session. I have OET, MRCP 1 and 4 years of experience in general/internal medicine after graduation from med school, but the experience is not of a training with any postgraduate training body rather it's a general experience(medical officer). Am I eligible for mti medicine.?
I will be looming forward to your valuable suggestion
Thank you!
Hi Dr Khan,
MTI medicine usually would expect you to have a post graduation in Medicine.
You could email your cv to rwh-tr.cfpenquiries@nhs.net, I used to work for this Trust they have a sponsorship opportunity as well.
Best wishes.

I hope your are doing well!!!
Could you enlighten me how to get an NHS Job in Medicine at Scotland and Ireland?
1)Do they accept MTI Pathway?
2)Do I need to clear PACES examination before applying there?
Thanks and Regards
Dr Joshi

Dr. Aman and Dr Khaled @UK Dreamers
I have MRCP1 MRCP2 OET EPIC VERIFICATION.
Today, I have got a job offer via NHS interview in internal medicine. ST3+
But I don’t have GMC registration.
In job offer their are two options tier 5 and tier 2 . I have to apply via RCP MTI for GMC registration. How can I apply for tier 2 ?
Kindly, guide me
Thanks and regards
Dr Joshi
Ideally if its is MTI it should be tier 5, mail ur recruiter again n directly ask them. If they can sponsor via tier2 even better.
