Am i the only person to realize TDU in its entirety is a fever dream? (in the original non modded version of the game) The bloom and lighting make the game seem whimsical or dreamy. I also notice that before each race the AI cars just materialize outta thin air. A dream of the life you always wanted it. Also the character wakes up just as the plane is arriving in Oahu
OG TDU is so goated fr. I spent so many hours playing 1 & 2. I was 12 when TDU1 came out and I got it on my PS2 at first, and then I got an Xbox 360 for christmas 2007. I was so excited to get to play this game on 360 and I remember begging my grandmother to let me buy the DLC on her credit card. Lol
One of the big games I grew up with when xbox 360 released I remember It not having a hard drive and I could not save my progress, so everytime I shut the console down I had to restart and grind a full day to get a Saleen or Ferrari Enzo and never got tired of it 😂
I've got Goose bumps just watching the start of TDU. Lounge & Theme music on its own reignited such a vivid memory in my head. You summed it up with the best word though Alex, "Beautiful". ✌️

Btw, you should've just rented the Wrangler for 10 minutes on the prologue - you would not drive it for long before you get your first house and car. With this way, you can save lots of money and be able to afford even the most expensive starter car (Alfa Romeo Brera with all the extra cost options).
How do you get analogue input on the PC version? I tried to play it on a GPD Win 4 and all I get from the triggers is binary input despite them being analogue. Also had a strange issue where only the immediate area after buying a car loaded and the rest of the map had zero collision including the ground
Man i haven't play test drive unlimited for a really long time is because this game is from 2006 and i was 6 years old when this game came out, Unfortunately i don't have a Xbox 360 just yet is because it was to expensive so I have to play on the PlayStation 2 and i don't like the graphics is because it's kinda low quality and old school, So if i played test drive unlimited on the Xbox 360 it will be better than the PS2 its because the Xbox 360 version has high quality and good graphics so i prefer the Xbox 360 version of Test Drive Unlimited, Because is the best open world car racing game in the world.
Yeah man funny you say that, I had literally the EXACT same problem. I didn't change anything and the game worked before lmfao. I just had to delete and install all over again to fix, I don't understand why though, I wish I knew lmao
It's a pity that the controller support is a bit so so. You need a keyboard and a mouse to navigate the menus and the map this isn't a full sit on a couch experience.

The only option is the PS2 version for PS3, but there's no Hardcore Mode on this version, I guess.
