if you're building your own wooden scaffolding, you have to be aware of the design and assembly requirements and the need to use wood that's rated for scaffolding use for the parts people stand on. Can't tell for sure, but it looks like a piece of plywood being used for the platform at the top, and generally that is not allowed. You have to use planks that are rated for scaffolding use, for the parts people will stand on. Also, if this is in the USA the person overseeing the scaffolding construction and use has to have the OSHA certification for scaffolding, which is not hugely difficult to get, but you do have to get it - if any "employee" will be using the scaffolding. If you are only using it for yourself independently, i.e. no employee will be using it, then you are not required to get the OSHA certification for scaffolding competency.
