  • All right folks today was a good day in the field. We spent most of the day moving snow from gas meters in order to protect the homes from potential dangers, we actually uncovered 1 meter that was pulled away and leaking so it just goes to show you that these measures that we are doing are working. We are saving homes from being destroyed and possible lives from being lost towards the end of the day, we decided to swap the chains on the loaders because the John Deere is down for the season. It’s going to need some major repair work, so we decided to retire at for the season and put the good chains on the cat check out some of those meters that we uncovered a couple of them were nearly 20 feet below snow. Stay tuned for the next video. It’ll be Trucking for the rest of the week.

It's been an unbelievable 4 months , new season snow record. This channel was made at the right time. Document the thaw and show us how you build and repair all the damage done in mammoth.. what a beautiful place! Thanks for the great content 👍👍

I agree; in years to come it would be a valuable document, showing the whole process and what lessons were learnt, etc.
Alta, Utah, has also smashed the 800 mark for the season. The Great Salt Lake has been receding for years now; this obviously won’t reverse all the damage but at least it will help stop the rot in the short term and fill the reservoirs up, with some run off making it back to the lake after years of severe drought.

The ENTIRE community - residents, store owners, the ski resorts, and the tourists - everyone owes you and your team a great sincere thank you. I think that it would be appropriate if the City Elders held a (nice buffet, catered) dinner for EVERYONE who kept the town/city alive! I reference, your team and the other teams who gave and gave and gave to keep everyone safe and the city operational. I wish that the City Elders would peruse this small note, get off of their bottoms and do something nice in appreciation. It goes beyond financial issues - it's just the right thing to do. Bring the entire community together, and embrace those who worked tirelessly to preserve the way of life in Mammoth.

Good to see spring coming with melting snows. You guys have way too much snow.
There will be mush, with pools and lakes of water everywhere that you don't need them.
Hopefully, you have cleared trenches around your homes and condos. Because all that melting snow will
become water dropping straight down next to your homes. The water has to have a place or places to flow.
If there is no where to go it will go into your home or condos.
It will be weeks of melting mushy snow with freezing again at night. Hopefully, streams and creeks are open to take
that water away down and away from Mammoth Lakes.
Hopefully, everyone is safe and high away from this coming water event. We don't want to see any more damage to
property and people in the Mammoth Lakes area.
