That button is an American Civil War Military Button! 'CSA' stands for 'Confederate States of America' and it is from the Southern States who rebelled against The Union. It is VERY collectable in the U.S. - but how in the world did it end up in England? I do know England aided the South and many supplies (including buttons) were made in England.
yeah we have since found out that the button were made in the UK. we supplied a lot of stuff to america during the civil war, guns, uniforms (or the materials to make them) gun powder, and many other things to help.
