When I played this map on the 1.0 release, I thought it was a swatting mission, despite the initial call stating it was an active shooter. At first I thought there were not going to be enemies or anyone armed on the basis of the trailer. But I maintained my A game because all tactical games taught me 2 things, never let your guard down and expect the unexpected. And I was right, though I gotta admit, almost let my guard down.
That's just nonsense for me, why there are so many hostiles, and ok, let it be, but why are there so many hostiles right in his apartment??? Wat? Every time I play this level there's at least 3 evil dudes with shotguns and streamer himself with shotgun too bruh wth is going on there...
I love how they didn't show the 10 armed gunmen in this trailer basically giving a complete false sense of this being an actual situation that could occur irl. Nor can I disable the camera without shooting it
wish certain levels would have unique animations for certain things streamer is early on > mostly civilians, one or two suspects in the server farms with low morale (so they surrender quickly) if you manage to raid his actual room silently, undetected, arresting him would have a situational animation special to taking him off the chair similarly to the video any other maps that would support special animations for specific situations could also have them, just to make every mission unique in their own way instead, they make the streamer map like every other map - filled with people with guns with insane high morale and accuracy, and for some reason michael just has a shotgun on him at all times - kinda ruins the point of it being a prank call if this streamer pulls a 12 gauge and willingly shoots at cops
@@OperatorMax1993 Most of the playerbase wants a massive TDM vs AI for every mission. I imagine less than 10% of them have even played games from the SWAT series. I started with SWAT 2, myself. Things were more calculated and tactical back then. Nowadays it's "Add 20 new guns please".

@@DeadManSinging1 I believe both you and @Dat1ScrubLord have great points. It would be great to have far more maps with no/few enemies, much like in SWAT 4, to make it clear that massive shootouts are not the norm. However, deliberately making the "marketed as no enemies" map have several enemies is a great way to make clear that the worst must always be planned for.
@@notjebkerman6207Also wrong, this is just a weird way to market the level. The in-game briefing makes it very clear what the situation is in-game (including an audio file of the streamer explaining his intentions with the 911 operator), which is fine, but then there’s no point of the trailer misleading players unless they assumed no-one would actually read the briefings. It’s also the second level in the entire game, a chill mission where it’s just a streamer getting swatted would’ve been perfect for accustoming players into restraining suspects instead of shooting on sight.
imagine if the mission actually went like that. Nah, you have the streamer roaming with a pump shotgun in the mission, nowhere near the streaming setup. I hoped that this mission would be more similar to the teaser. Understandable that this way the mission would have no shooting and all action, but isn't that the point of swatting sometimes?
If it wasn't for almost every mission in RON being a massive fight, 1.0's use of this map would have been great misdirection and reminder to always prepare for the worst.
People hate this level (from what I saw on the news letter anyway) but they forget this is what happens in real life. I think this is an excellent idea.
It’s not, it is clearly all just an animated cinematic lol. These are all fake animations specifically made for the trailer, how’s this not obvious. They do this for every teaser.

for the 2nd mission in the game, its pretty over the top intense compared to what this shows. guy has a bunch of armed guard's who are near suicidal and he camps the door to his room with a fucking shotgun lmao , cant even sneak behind him
Some cool things you notice is that when you go to his PC in this mission, you'll find that the viewers on his stream are happy he's being swatted. You can also see your actually being recorded with his camera, and if you shoot it, the screen is glitchy and freezes.
a SWAT game finally approaching the concept of "SWATING". just VOID living up to that "no compromise" promise. i still fear that no matter how they approach it, the "SCHOOL" level will just be bone-chilling regardless.
I know, just one shooter but you don't know if he blew his brains out or not but you can already find a trail of dead students and faculty members along with a stubborn police force who have no obligation to protect you.
You know, I think having SWAT ai call out different things would provide a lot of realism. Saying things as simple as, “Door on the left” or saying stuff about how a civilian or suspect is in the room. If that happens, there can be a prompt from the player to restrain the person without having to actually look at them. It would bring a lot of good gameplay and brings good immersion. Keep it up Void :>
I think it would also be cool to like hear the ai comment "what happened here" or "Entry team to TOC, we need more units asap" , or like ",TOC wheres our backup" if everyone is on low health
@@jaypolas4136 having small comments can make them more human, especially with the things they see. I do like that idea for the low health though, great suggestion
This Mission was a Missed Opportunity It could've served as a tutorial Mission not be an all out gang warfare mission It would've been better if it was a swatting call not a actual situation, where we have to kill like 10 gunmen All the levels are always the same just shootouts and this mission was very anticlimactic, would be nice if the ai felt realistic and human and was ambiguous, everyone for whatever reason is willing to fight the swat team barley anyone surrenders, thought this was a simulation not a action movie, it always starts out over the top and continues till the end of the mission, there's no tension, one good example of tension is the Fairfax Residence Dont get me wrong the games good, but it could be a hellova lot better
What would really be cool is if this mission had like a 10% chance for the swatting to be a real threat and they pull a gun on entry. Keep you on your toes

Prepare your squad for 1.0 and get the official game on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/1144200/Ready_or_Not/
o
when ron is in 1.0, will it have crossplay with pc and xbox and playstation and stuff
Is it ready tho?!? lol
@@doggoinbox2719 No, Xbox and Playstation version have not been confirmed yet.
When tho?
the actual mission: literally fallujah simulator
Or weed farm bust. They say its just a swatting. Didnt expect the crypto streamer and miner to have a gang protecting him
That's just nonsense for me, why there are so many hostiles, and ok, let it be, but why are there so many hostiles right in his apartment??? Wat? Every time I play this level there's at least 3 evil dudes with shotguns and streamer himself with shotgun too bruh wth is going on there...
@@f8h923такое ощущение, что разработчики просто решили оставить уровень недоделанным
@@f8h923yeah they never explain why there are so many armed killers at the apartment, kinda disappointing
imagine the faces on people thinking this would've been a generic swatting map just to be met with a tower with enemies doming in front and above
Bro was trained shooting skills by John wick and can withstand a direct m320 flash hit in face in actual game💀💀
I love how they also managed to include CP in the streamer mission
Is including CP in every mission necessary
bro it's like 4 missions
I love how they didn't show the 10 armed gunmen in this trailer basically giving a complete false sense of this being an actual situation that could occur irl. Nor can I disable the camera without shooting it
Neat detail in the level: in the streamer’s room, if you shoot his face cam, the monitor projecting the face cam will actually freeze!
This is so reticulon. Awesome to see his style still going on after all this time.
Ah, a man of culture.
Cheers, gentlemen.
Man, what happened to him? With his channel deleted, I can't watch most of his videos anymore.
@@TITANia69420bruh, man i love his works but luckily someone archive it
Wait, deleted? I gotta check something.
Dam… I honestly loved his stuff
they lied, he is definitely a threat.
They 100% reworked the mission since this video, my team walked into the atrium and got shot by like four people.
lmao fr my dumbass walked in thinking it was just a stupid training mission and then proceeded to get nailed in the head by multiple guys
Probably because everyone complained it had too few suspects...even though SWAT 4's first two levels had like 1-2 suspects
wish certain levels would have unique animations for certain things
streamer is early on > mostly civilians, one or two suspects in the server farms with low morale (so they surrender quickly)
if you manage to raid his actual room silently, undetected, arresting him would have a situational animation special to taking him off the chair similarly to the video
any other maps that would support special animations for specific situations could also have them, just to make every mission unique in their own way
instead, they make the streamer map like every other map - filled with people with guns with insane high morale and accuracy, and for some reason michael just has a shotgun on him at all times - kinda ruins the point of it being a prank call if this streamer pulls a 12 gauge and willingly shoots at cops
@@Furious321 SWAT 2 is interesting. Since it's in a isometric camera and plays similar to games like Jagged Alliance 2, Wages Of War, Shadow Company and Fallout Tactics (the difference being you lead a SWAT team)
The most realistic twitch chat ever.
"BigDickRick"
The chat spamming f when the streamer dies is also realistic if you kill him
Ah men finally a game that does what the community needs and has a great dev team that isnt scare to go of mainstream even when getting critized just wanted to say a huge thank you, awsome team and finally some devs who actually are intersted in making cool stuff like this your the best!
i like how when the swat team first enters the dude's place they almost look disappointed
a swatting mission would actually be a really cool addition of realism
Remember when everyone on the steam forums thought this would be another 2 suspect mission?
It should have been
Don't shoot! I'm a twitch streamer and discord moderator!
*BANG BANG BANG*
Bruh, the Streamer's apartment is so fucking hard to clear because half the enemies with guns are in that one area.
Just get to britas cove part and then you will see what part is hard

Imagine prank-SWATTING a streamer you watch and you find out that he was an actual criminal 💀
And unfortunately it turns out the mission is stuffed with gangbangers with guns, and the streamer himself runs around with a semi-auto shotgun, to protect his bitcoin farm and himself. Even though he can't afford to pay the electricity fees for this semi-abandoned apartment complex.

Definitely one of the most unique games of the past few years, stay the way you are VOID!
most unique since Swat 4.... Only took 16 years and Developer with balls. Because Activision is letting swat licence just rot in the basment in Boby Kotiks basment!
I love the little scene 0:49. He just like "The hell is this?" It just to funny to me.
Seeing the way this level was marketed and how it was actually implemented in game, absolutely genius. I won't comment further on it to avoid spoilers for anyone but damn, it's a good ass level
Disagree. IT would have been better if this level had no enemies. There were levels like that in SWAT 4. Its often what SWAT deals have to deal with.
Understandable that this way the mission would have no shooting and all action, but isn't that the point of swatting sometimes?
god I love the development of this game and its developers
Void is one of my top three creators, they are able to come up with cool, new and innovative ways to design their games and levels, great work void!
Mans just had to be wearin the cat ear headphones
I still think this map would have been better if it didnt have enemies. The gang bangers maintaining the servers downstairs is a little far fetched
If it wasn't for almost every mission in RON being a massive fight, 1.0's use of this map would have been great misdirection and reminder to always prepare for the worst.
@@notjebkerman6207 Id agree with that too. At least we have Ends of the Earth
I love in the description. It's a lesson about swatting streamers until you actually find what was on his computer.
No way... Pyrocynical gets Swatted...
1:27 that box she's holding must be damn heavy!
People hate this level (from what I saw on the news letter anyway) but they forget this is what happens in real life. I think this is an excellent idea.
Wait, is 1.0 closer than we originally thought?
yes, gonna release somewhere around 2023 maybe very early 2024 at worst.
There are so many ways this can play out. I love it.
This trailer looks insane. Great animations and beautiful cinematic. Awesome job VOID
This map was NOT this fucking easy
My AI teammates made it easier for me, they would quickly kill suspects before I even saw them lol.
@@carbon301 that's true. With ai tho any maps a cake walk
If that is the AI teammate behaviour planned to be implemented in the next patch, I would say it is a huge improvement. I wish to see more info soon.
It’s not, it is clearly all just an animated cinematic lol. These are all fake animations specifically made for the trailer, how’s this not obvious. They do this for every teaser.
@@samtt4489 tho ngl i would love to be able to make civilians move, instead of restraining them in a fixed location
Just played through that mission. No spoilers but it definitely had some surprises.
If only this is actually a swatting mission. Yeah sure, the curveball/plot twist is fine, but why does he have hardened militia ready to fight to the death.
I thought the same, I get it’s a swat game but it would be nice to have some missions where you won’t even need to fire a single round
Crypto money, not as fancy as a modern counterfeiting op but attracts that kind of people
I can't believe they put DrDisrespect in the game
VOID yall are doing amazing work over there. Ready or Not is easily one of my top favorite FPS strategy game. Im glad you guys listen to yalls players and the fans as well as allowing the mods. Yall are killing it for sure.
0:26 new gun?
0:32 agency level kids photos(left monitor)
0:40 glasses & mask
2:06 poor camera
I think the possible new gun probably looks like a honey badger to me…
And me, and some other people in the discord server pointed out that the images on the left monitor does look like the kids from the Brixley’s talent agency map
Also the operators are tan uniform which is player only
for the 2nd mission in the game, its pretty over the top intense compared to what this shows. guy has a bunch of armed guard's who are near suicidal and he camps the door to his room with a fucking shotgun lmao , cant even sneak behind him
Yeah, I thought that was bullshit
"Not now kitten, daddy's being swatted"
image being a viewer of that stream and seeing all of that go down
this mission surprised my unaware ass when i played it lmao
This is exactly what I envisioned a streamer would look like.
1:25 that box got places to be💀
Some cool things you notice is that when you go to his PC in this mission, you'll find that the viewers on his stream are happy he's being swatted. You can also see your actually being recorded with his camera, and if you shoot it, the screen is glitchy and freezes.
Keeping up with the age here with the SWATting scenario!
(also a "false lead" mission would be nice, make it unpredictable)
the audio at the end was genius.
a SWAT game finally approaching the concept of "SWATING".
just VOID living up to that "no compromise" promise.
i still fear that no matter how they approach it, the "SCHOOL" level will just be bone-chilling regardless.
Yeah, even SWAT 4 teammates call out suspects or civilians, and you have a "secure" option to have them restrain while picking up stuff
They actually do stuff like this in the 1.0 update now, if anyone was wondering.
They added exactly what you wanted just now
Fat dude with blue hair is SOOOO ACCURATE
Felix getting swatted after he did the "Bridge" thing
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!!! I LOVE THE NEW MODELS AND GUNS
This Mission was a Missed Opportunity
It could've served as a tutorial Mission not be an all out gang warfare mission
It would've been better if it was a swatting call not a actual situation, where we have to kill like 10 gunmen
All the levels are always the same just shootouts and this mission was very anticlimactic, would be nice if the ai felt realistic and human and was ambiguous, everyone for whatever reason is willing to fight the swat team barley anyone surrenders, thought this was a simulation not a action movie, it always starts out over the top and continues till the end of the mission, there's no tension, one good example of tension is the Fairfax Residence
Dont get me wrong the games good, but it could be a hellova lot better
Pov: the group chat got leaked
Can confirm this map is dope af! Amazing work on both this new mission and the new 1.0 update as a whole, y'all knocked it out the park!
This is very interesting lol. I will say a huge improvement on the animation quality, whoever did it great job to you!
I dun think those animations are game animations. Looks pre-rendered. i'll believe it when i see it implmented in game.
@@SiD19884 he never said they were lol

After playing it on 1.0 this Trailer is kind of the Good Ending Version of that mission lol
swatting scenario
Ah yes, arresting xXx_P8ssyL0v3r_XxX. One of the best missions ever.
the most realistic thing about this level is the streamer himself
Can't believe VOID Interactive released the Ava Kris Tyson DLC a year early
What would really be cool is if this mission had like a 10% chance for the swatting to be a real threat and they pull a gun on entry. Keep you on your toes
Calling it now: someone is going to get swatted while they stream themselves playing this mission where a streamer gets swatted.
