Hint!::remember in season 4 when the “older kids” were in the upside down and Nancy went to her house with the other to get Guns then claimed that the up side down is 3 years back when she found the cards she was studying with Steve in season 1 would mean why they are getting younger versions of the charecters…!?

I think when we see holly and Henry together it’s vecna getting in her mind and taking her back to one of his memories like how he does with Nancy.
Exactly what I’ve been thinking. Or maybe he’ll show her how ideal the world would’ve been if certain events hadn’t played out and will try to get her on his side.

THEORY!! what if the kids are trying to re create the nina project but for will instead of el... they use will to find out more things about vecna by forcing will to re live his time in the upside down... this would explain why we got the image of him in his current age lay down in the upside down just as el was in the rainbow room... BUT vecna manages to break through and starts tormenting will and blocking the memories...

I think we will get a flashback to when Will and Mike met.
One sign with Will that I think about every time I go back--that birthmark on his arm. It's where the numbers are, and we never got an answer about whether or not it was on the dummy.

Will better be the main character. He was the one originally taken to the upside down and then was flayed. Then he basically became a background character. I need him super involved in this season to tie everything up.
I totally agree. But if Holly goes missing then unfortunately I see her being the main focus which really doesn't make sense since she was barely even a character in the other 4 seasons. Nancy and even Karen make more sense since one is a main character like Mike and the other had main focus episodes in the other seasons ( if we are to go by the 5 letter word in blank which I think is just a coincidence ). I could even see a character like Erica or Murray if not a Wheeler go missing because at least they have played supporting roles in the last seasons. For me I believe Holly will become like Erica in S5. I just can't see her being more important in the last season over the 4 boys or Eleven. JMHO.

personally i think its karen who goes missing due to herself in S3 since billy was possessed by the mindflayer controlled by vecna and vecna hinted to nancy multiple times and since she knows the most so he might do the same with holly so shes obviously there and she and karen have a close relationship seen in multiple seasons and mike and nancy are most likely busy but vecna might go for nancy since she knows the most but i don't think she will since vecna has had multiple chances to take nancy but never did
I think it’s Nancy because in season 4 she went in a trance and maybe she got kidnapped by Vecna and might be FLAYED and is helping Vecna destroy hawkins

In s4 they talked abt how vecna targeted people with something ‘haunting or bothering’ them. I’ll bet we’ll get more on Will and Jonathan’s home life and how Mike helped Will over come Lonnie. And that will be why 1. Will got taken 2. Why theyre casing these characters. Also I just saw a camp half blood thing in the background and I am screaming. I love Pjo and stranger things.

I find it weird that the cracks came together at the library which is where joyce and hopper found will in the upside down but i dont know if that means anything also the casting for young will and Mike said an 8 year old so it would be 1979 which was when the massacre happened at Hawkins lab so maybe something happened outside the lab like in town when the massacre happened and they didn't realize it was with the lab because they literally didn't know anything they know now when it happened just an idea

the time travel idea is interesting. especially since we know that the upside down is stuck on the day that Will was taken. We still don't know why that is so perhaps that may answer that as well.

I have a theory omggg!!!
You know how we know should I stay or should I go is definitely (probably) wills favorite song? Well it was heard quite a bit during season 1 (in my opinion) and we know how someone’s favorite song can help them escape vecna…. I think you know where I’m going with this.
What if the reason we heard wills favorite song so much in season 1 was so that we know we will be taken by vecna and that song will save him (or he’ll die)
As far as the casting call, I think rather than time travel, we will have a lot of "memory travel". As we saw in season 4, El can view the memories of others by entering their minds. I think the group will be trying to solve sort of clue, and to do that, they will need El to go into Mike, Will, or Jonathan's mind, where she will come across this memory as well as many others. Another possibility is that Mike or Will will be "vecna'd" and, like Max, they will have to think of good memories, one of which includes something that happened when they were younger.

What if Episode 2 is called : The Vanishing of Karen Wheeler. A reason this could be is because a few weeks ago we saw a picture of a patient, being Karen Wheeler attacked by a demogorgon or possibly a new monster. So, maybe she was like Will and was captured in the Upside Down. She escaped, but she was injured really bad or the gang found her and saved her or the lab is back again. This could happen because they said there would be some flashbacks!
My theory for the flashbacks is gonna be how they Did it to 11 in season 4 but instead of a lab they be in a certain place like the destroyed castle Byers and then have their flashbacks

The military have all the kids trapped in a military base for interrogation, which includes Holly Wheeler. This is where the crew decides to sneak in to rescue the kids from the base, including Mike Wheeler to rescue his younger sister, where they eventually rescue here. But later, this happens so that Holly Wheeler ends up disappearing.
I think you're really close here. I do think the earlier episodes will be focusing on the military danger and around 3 or 4 will start to involve the UD.
