Just found your channel, it seems right up my alley. Rock on, my dad was a Peavey rep the first 20 years of my life. He presented the 5150 with James Brown and Hartley to Eddie at his house. You could say i was raised on Peavey.

That must have been fun being around amps all the time as a kid. Cool story!

I had a Bandit 75 back in the 80's. I was, and still am, more into the bluesy rock like Foghat, Savoy Brown, Johnny Winter and so on. I am 65 and retired and live in an apartment and right now I have a small Backstage. And for being so small, it packs a helluva punch. Have been a Peavey fan for 40 years.

When I started playing guitar in junior high everyone had a Peavey. I might do a retro demo on a Bandit.

Peavey amps put decent quality amps and PA systems into the price range of average players- and a few of them were soon to be classics. They should be commended for their 70s and 80s history.

Most of the kids in junior high and high school had Peavey amps because they were affordable when starting out. You could always get a good used amp and they tended to last a long time.

Good Day. After i got out of the Air Force, I hooked up with a band in Miami Florida in 1974. I'm a drummer. Our Lead & Rhythm Guitar Players had Peavey amps. Each amp had 4x12" speakers & a Horn. Loud and Incredible Amps. I've never seen them anywhere else and never mentioned on any Peavey History Videos. Thanks & Best Regards

In 1973 they made a 4x12 with CTS speakers, maybe it was that?

I've seen Peavey TNT 100 bass amps as early as 1974 and recently bought a '76 and it makes guitars sound huge! I also came across a 200W '76 PA-400 4-channel PA head that's a monstrous beast!

There is no 6534 without the plus. The 6534+ is a modified 6505+ ... also the XXX II is facelifted JSX, the 3120 is a facelifted Triple XXX
