The Direct Comparison Test

The Integral Test is a good tool for determining both convergence and divergence of various series, but it still requires integrating something, which is not always easy or even possible to do. The Comparison Tests avoid this and lets us determine whether a series converges or diverges by comparing it to a simpler series.
