CS2 is good, just needs to work on matchmaking, netcode, maps, rankings, community servers, workshop, grenades, movement, spray tracers, run and gun, hit reg, sound quality, economy, bunny hopping, mods and cheaters
matchmaking is bad but still better than GO, netcode is still better than GO, maps are completely fine (other than some movement things being broken,) rankings are an issue, community servers exist but the browser is broken, workshop does need to come back, nades are literally better tf?, movement is different but not bad, spray tracers do need improved, run and gun is the same (still needs worked on), hit reg is better, sound quality is significantly better, economy is just fine, bhopping does need worked on, and there are less cheaters in cs2 than go
a fps game where shots just randomly dont hit someone isnt good or worth playing, id rather keep sane and go play valorant, atleast when i die in valorant its cause im dogshit not cause the shitty sub tick system rolled some dice and decided to fuck me

the amount of running one taps i've gotten in cs2 since its release has to be off the charts.
This is my one true gripe with CS2 because I'm afraid it's an intentional design choice to be more noob friendly. I've been running killed many times and headshot by players that are clearly dogshit after I die and spectate and would never hit the same shot in GO. I'm hoping it's just something to initially hook players by lowering the entry skill level that will be increased back to GO levels gradually. All other issues I'm confident will be fixed.
Agreed… between that, the headshot hit box being a beach ball, smg’s being far too accurate at medium-long range at full speed… such a step down from csgo.. hopefully they clean it up.

I think that subtick and the way shots are registered just made peeker's advantage that much more powerful. This game is so sided toward the aggressor.

I'm getting pre fired in the weirdest ways. I've been playing cs for years and I just play source because of how open people are to cheating now.
@@hex6879 yeah, it's bad. So bad that they even disabled the replay system. They said it's due to "high traffic" but that hasn't been true for like a week. They just don't want people recording people using cheats and posting it.
@@LightLeo111 the cheaters just stream it themselves now lol. I've seen smaller cheating "creators" get more views than similar sized legit streamers.
@@odin4289 yeah, it's all f'n trash. I literally went back to play CS 1.6, Source and Day of Defeat. I'm done with the new sh*t. At least in the community servers it's super rare that someone will cheat. People know each other and can spot sus stuff really fast.
This is exactly how I feel playing. I play the same way I played GO, but with very different results. Especially when it comes to hit register. I am also fucking tired of getting one taped by running head shots. This current version is far from a tactical shooter. Much more friendly for run n gun style play. I would be playing CSGO exclusively had they not removed it. Not to mention the blatant fucking cheating.
It's the combination of your shots not registering and the mere infestation with cheaters. I'm annoyed by shots missing which should have been hits. But what drives me away from the game is my enemies at the same time going from 0:10 to 40:10 by 40 running headshots just because the game practically has no anticheat.
Fuck run and gun. That shit noob garbage gameplay like the occasional jump 1 tap. I guess valve is copying the worst parts of valorant.

It's very difficult for me to be legitimately 1 tap pre-fired until they add demos and replays to all servers. I still love the game but god damn, when did everyone get so good?

its like a per round experience for me. enemy headshots even while they are jumping and shooting through smoke.
sometimes all i need is to shoot them just once, and they panic and press the AIMBOT button and spin around and shoot me in the head.

My biggest complaint with the game so far is how absolutely abysmal premier is. Tried to compete with faceit, and didn't even come close. Literally little to no redeeming qualities to premier at all. I also think the whole one rank per map thing in mm is the dumbest thing ever. Like why?
But I'm having fun with cs2 still, mostly because it's still cs. The graphics are cool, I like the new loadout and buy system, I don't have a huge problem with the sounds like a lot of people do. So I plan to stay loyal to it, I have faith that valve will make things right.
Mm per map is so people that play mirage and get a high rank on it dont get paired with office high ranks that never play mirage. I like the concept it just needs a different approach
Premier is the new competitive. Competitive now is just a casual Premier. I use it to practice.
Map specific ranks is great, only thing that sucks is that each one needs 10 games won to get ranked, it's too much

There have been numerous times where I see my shots hitting the bodies of enemies (with blood being splattered) and yet when I die, I see no damage dealt. What in the actual fuck. Has nothing to do with ping btw.

Probably because they're counter strafing. Play an off angle or counter peek them by constantly counter strafing in and out of your angle instead of staying still.
Honestly, its way to buggy to be taken seriously right now. Feels super arcade like and has a lot of issues system wise. Shots not lining up or firing the way they are supposed to. It's a bit of a mess right now, but deep down I still love it.
I'm not a pro at this game but there are times where your shots should connect even on the first shot as a headshot and the game just doesn't register it as a headshot. Shit is weird.
I struggle to believe when people say this unless you're global elite level atleast

the strafing head taps have been SO ANNOYING, its straight RNG on shot and i always miss my roll lmao
cs2 has better run and gun than valorant at this point, it doesn't help the bullet doesn't even go near your crosshair standing still.

Whats throwing everyone off right now that played CSGO a lot, is the bullets now come out exactly at the moment you click vs CSGO had a delay.
Look at the muzzle flash and bullet holes in walls, bullet holes come first then the muzzle flash.
Same CSGO animation, correct timing now,

i actually feel like they changed hit registration since the game came out when it launched i felt like i was hitting every bullet now I shoot someone 7 times i only hit 2 or 3 bullets when i can see all my shots hitting them in the chest

I feel like that when the test for cs2 came out (before the initial release) the servers and hit reg was better and now it's trash and or worse than csgo , Soo I think that we are all feeling something for sure ...
hmmm strange... shots hitting 7 times on a client's side and only twice on a server's side sounds suspiciously like clientside prediction failures to me... if i remember right the earliest days of quakeworld back in the late 1990s had this problem for a couple weeks and then something got fine tuned and the trouble stopped
the thing that doesnt make sense about this hypothesis though is clientside prediction should only be used if movement is involved?
and another strange aspect is that i think CSP was only needed in the earliest days when some players were still on 56kbps modems lol... all the university dorm players with T1s didnt need it that badly... with the modern high speed internet i dunno why it would be needed in CS2... unless CS2 was spamming the network with a whole ton of data... or if the network had lag issues?
but yeah... clientside "hallucinations" of bullets hitting when they "really" didnt sounds so similar to the early untuned versions of CSP!
i am just speculating outloud here and its possible i am only contributing to the noise and confusion, cuz at the end of the day i dunno for sure whats going on :p
hopefully whatever the issue is it can be addressed soon... it would be a shame for summit to strike any monitors with his fist! xD :p
This is the first thing i said after testing CS 2. And i haven't played CS in years.
My first games felt really good, everything just worked and I hit deagle headshots like a god, and then my accuracy magically disappeared and was never seen again. I still usually do above 100 adr which is ok but something feels off when I shoot, especially when I try to spray, it feels very random.
It's been proven that peeker's advantage is very bad in this game along with other very bad network issues. "Bad" as in worse than CS:GO

You think this is quit worthy? Try having a random problem with de_overpass that force restarts your computer every time you join it. Didn't realize it was map specific until after the 2nd abandon and -2000 elo later(1000 each time). Fixed with a simple reinstall of the game.
What pisses me off the most is they had to update cs2 over csgo...why not make it two games because we saw this shit coming from a mile away...RIP CSGO it was great once.....

I tried out CS2 casual matches to see what the hub-bub was about after quitting the game when it went F2P and Danger Zone came out because I got tired of cheaters on valve mm servers. I know my crosshair placement and something feels off with the aiming in this game.
one of my games last night, i got instantly killed by guys running around corners, probably 9 out of ten times. only had time to even react maybe 6 times the whole game. even when i did react in time to get a shot off first they would still somehow kill me. shit sucked

You know, watching last scene, in which you had not the time to watch behind the wall that a bullet arrived in your direction, it means that, probably that guy in parctigular, was using wall hack. H e was following you behind the wall, and was ready to shot whenever you show yourself.

Definitely not ready which is why I haven't played much Comp, just messing around with friends for now.. once the updates have calmed down and things are running smoother then I will play Comp.

@Summit1G you should try Squad with the new ICO patch, I think you'd like it. It's a bit of tarkov but less tryhard with a lot social interaction as silly as Sea of Thieves.
Blaming it on the game is so stupid, cs2 has clear peeker advantage and summit loses fights while peeking (12:20). The enemy team was hitting their shots and playing well, there's no downplaying their great comeback by blaming the game for it. Also sum was obviously not in his best day: messing up his HEs and smokes, dinking teammates, missing headshots on static targets.. he said it himself at 1:04 "that's bad aiming"

@@otamuralha706 that should 100% not be a hs, watch it at 0.25 he underflicked and shot the first bullet to the right of the head and then over-compensated recoil and shot at the freaking box next to the CT's knee, it was a joke of a flick, summit was just tired and you're high on copium. He had all the advantages in the game: peeker's advantage, right eye peek, enemy was crouching so bigger hitbox, better weapon and YET he messed it up, no excuse. The other guy hit the first bullet and summit was naded to 90hp so yeah he got outplayed
Only problem im having with cs2 is that it always seems to be a complete stomp on one of the teams, sometimes mine, sometimes enemy, but im yet to have an actual close game with similar/same skill level enemies on premier. Other than that the game is just nicer looking csgo 🤷🏼♂️
I think the game has major Hitreg issues that favor a team. I've put a full mag into an enemy point blank only to do 54 in 2, and they've done the same to me... valve pls fix

Nah... after 4000 hours of GO and a little over half of that in MM, Wingman... this game feels worse in some ways. Namely, when spraying... things I muscle memorized in GO don't work in CS2. Like being with 5 meters of a guy and quickly firing off 6 bullets before transferring. This worked in GO. It works maybe half the time in CS2. And honestly... being a good player and feeling like the game holds you back is so so frustrating. Not to mention... I often have people on my team who don't know to walk or don't know looking away from a defuse makes it stop or don't understand why crossfire in a 2v1 makes it nearly impossible for the 1 guy to win.... just a really frustrating experience overall.
@@bghost3636 exactly its so random sometimes my sprays hit sometimes they completely miss its fucking infuriating, ive noticed my team always seems to have way higher ping compared to the other team and we always get fucking destroyed, not to mention getting dogshit teammates consistently every match
we've played this game for so long we know everything. They shouldnt have given us tiers to customize they should have just unlocked all of it. It's a total nightmare trying to customize it at all. Because 1 trip and your total crap.

I agree with summit. this is not csgo anymore... other games where its at now and it feels like this was just another money grab through micro transactions for skins. Everyone got hyped prior to release pushing item costs up and then didnt deliver. (They removed more modes and maps then they added).I sold my skins and im out personally. We will see if they ever feel like fixing the game. Hopefully they release csgo as its own thing again so the people who grew up with the game can play the fun one again :/

It would be great if i broke an average of 200 fps on every map. But with a 3060ti and only 50% of my cpu/ram being used i dont know what the issue is
They're still actively optimising the game so it'll get better. I have a 3060ti and 5600x and I'm happy to get above 240fps but on certain spots it definitely goes quite a lot lower. A far cry from GO where my fps was a consistent 400.
@@jamieeddolls5605 ancient and overpass i have to literally avoid. More than one person in the water near me / a weapon and my fps drops to 90. I get about 200 average on most spots on most maps. The smokes drop me to 150 everywhere tho.
"50% of my cpu" just means not all cores are full load and you're possibly still bottlenecked by single core cpu speed. I get pretty good fps ~300 most of the times but it still doesn't feel very good and stutters etc are kinda frequent. 6900xt / 5900x.
@@kjaesp i should also add my 3060ti never exceeds 30% usage. It jumps to 80% on games like monster hunter world, cyberpunk, grounded, halo infinite. All of which i never drop below 100 fps at all, with higher graphical settings.

The 1 taps when people run out at you from cover are too much, it's the same reason I stopped playing EFT, the peekers advantage and desync just fucks the game, you have literally no time to react, by the time someone wide swings from cover, you're already dead, lol.
Probably because they're counter strafing for fucks sake. Instead of crying, get better. Hold an off angle if you're confident or utilise peekers adv yourself by strafing in and out of the angle you're holding.

The hitboxes are fine ffs it's misinformation. The only issue was when looking down and they just fixed that today.
also you guys gotta stop standing on the bomb when u fake defuse. they can literally see the bomb on the mini map and line the way their guy is facing up with the bomb all through the mini map then just spray through the smoke and its an easy ass kill if someone is just sitting on top of the bomb. touch the bomb then move like 5 feet to either side of it, little mistakes like that just cost the game, saw you guys do it twice in the last 5 minutes of the video...
hence why so many people on Nuke plant the bomb behind the silo on B because you can just sit behind door to secret with an awp and fire straight towards the bomb when you hear someone defuse and its such an easy kill. one of the oldest strats in the book tbh

Cs2 needs to get rid of subtick
Anyone else not digging csgo2? I feel its slower than csgo, hitboxes lagging behind enemy models , bomb explosion radius does 76 damage plus when your deep in A ramp on mirage for example is way too much. Headshot dinking sounds werent needed and can be distracting. Also a lot of customization options arent there escpially for laptop users who need certain settings for a smooth experience
If the valve admins are the ones selling the cheats then no real anti-cheat will ever be implemented just placebo's

The movement is shit, getting stuck on every corner of the map, spraying is definitely weird, getting running one shot'd, SMG's wayyy too powerful.

I remember a game I had on Overpass playing by long tree I got stuck on something invisible and just couldn't move the entire round.

@@Hazetheassassin most of the community doesn't even know what they're complaining about. Countless examples of that. CS dev himself artificially reduced everyone's ping by 50 in a game and players were praising him for fixing the lag. In LoL, they forgot to ship out changes for a champion in the patch notes and the community complained he was too OP even though the changes weren't live. Most people can only tell when trying to bhop or jump throw in 64 vs 128 tick.
I knew the second I saw the title, the hitreg was at fault. So much about the sub-tick timings. WHY is it sub-tick? Why isn't it just 90Hz or something higher than 60 in CS:GO... 👺
This is like adding VSYNC or "generated frames" to server ticks and it's just garbage.
Hit reg is fine for me ffs I'm convinced people complaining about hit reg are completely shite. Can almost make a valid complaint about everything else and yet people choose hitreg and broken hitboxes despite that being debuked.
@@jamieeddolls5605 I mean ive seen some good comparisons. Where the bullets will hit where they were server side a few ticks after shooting. I don't play anymore since 2019 but I've seen quite a few vids of cs2.

First of all, "Less than 1ms of movement F**ks the whole aimming" is wrong. You don't need to be at perfect 0 velocity for standing accuracy to be applied.
If you play it at 0.25x speed you can see Summit miss the guy's head. If it's infuriating to not get a kill when you miss then counter-strike is not the game for you.
