Late-Season Corn Tissue Sampling

Tissue testing at critical crop growth stages can help fine-tune nutrient management and maximize yields. Ryan Permelia, Pioneer Field Agronomist, recommends taking multiple tissue samples throughout the growing season. Late-season tissue sampling can be helpful. In this field, samples are being conducted as corn is in the R5 - R6 growth stage. Sampling at this stage can provide a good indication of how your corn crop is finishing throughout the growing season.
