this is a great beginner resource. nice, to the point and detailed enough without over complicating it. fortunately i have a ccna so i understood the underlying principles of networking
This is helpful but Meraki has a new user interface so you must poke around to find the settings. This is good to get a general idea. You really need to set up a lab and follow along. If you are a Jr. Network Admin or part of the HelpDesk, ask the Network folks to give you read-only rights to Meraki. This will be very helpful to follow along.
Great videos! Hey I noticed that when you point to the corner of the screen and say "watch this video first", none of those links to the videos are showing up on the UA-cam videos
Hello @René, the "Routing and DHCP" tab is to configure Layer 3 interfaces in the switches. There you can configure the switches to have several interfaces, service as DHCP servers and use static routes. you can find more information regarding the tab and the feature in the Cisco Meraki documentation below. documentation.meraki.com/MS/Layer_3_Switching/MS_Layer_3_Switching_and_Routing
Thanks for the Video. Very Nicely done indeed, 1 quick question- in case if we mess up the config or somehow lost access to the Meraki cloud, is there a way to access the Meraki devices (MS, MX, etc) locally to troubleshoot?
Hello Chris, I am happy you are finding the videos helpful! Right now I am recording the API training series but I have the wireless training in the pipeline, stay tuned!

Hi sir... Need help,, can we use PoE swtich for desktop if not then is there any PoE switch that can sense and stop the power supply to non PoE device when we connect it. kindly let me know... Thanks
Hello Jagadish, If you have a PoE switch and it is compliance with the standard, it will not provide power through the port unless the devices need it. You can connect any device and you should not have any problem.

Great suggestion!
I think that at this moment is not possible to virtualize any Cisco Meraki device.

You can access the device locally just to see the uplink connectivity and configuration. Not much to do there.
Very well explained. Thank you! I am now subscribing and will watch your other video. I will be concentrating on your Meraki MR Access Points.. :)
