This is a wonderful video. You have no idea how much I appreciate what you post here and IG. Yrs ago when still in the Army, we rented a Post Rec travel trailer to trip from KS to CA to visit my exe's fam and made a special trip south to go E to W thru Yosemite. fml, the entrance pass still had 20 ft of snow. It was only 4 hrs out of the way but... To this day it is still on my list of go to when my brother and I start tripping on our bikes. I have a pop up camping trailer and one way or another, hauling bicycles on the trailer is a must. Your day trip on your cycles? You found the reason you have to keep them and why I will have them.

Thanks for sharing this video. We lived in Reno NV for 3 years and really enjoyed visiting Lake Tahoe. We also drove south on US 395 through Bridgeport and Lee Vining to Mammoth Lakes and Bishop headed to Death Valley. It's a stunning trip. Glad you had a chance to go through there. Safe travels!
Another stunning video. I follow a lot of RV/Nomad channels and usually just listen to them while doing other things. I always take a pause and watch yours however as your photography/cinematography skills are amazing.
My HOME Yosemite N Pk. I lived and worked there for years. My heart still hurts when I see photos of its beauty and memories flood through me. We deeply appreciate it. I deeply appreciate it! Blessings on your journey. Stay safe and Healthy.
Adventures of Sweet Apple-Pie what an amazing place to call home. We talked about that a lot during our time in the park- what it would be like to live in the valley. So glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back some memories for you. We cannot wait to go back and stay longer next time! Thanks for watching and joining us on our journey! 😃
There's a moment in the video at 22:58 and another at 24:17 when the girls and Jess are riding their bikes while Half Dome and the valley are to their right or behind them. It's just for a few seconds in each scene. There are singular moments in all of your videos where the "why" of what you're doing practically leaps off the screen. Yeah, sure there are times when it's just "life" out there; doing laundry, pumping gas, grabbing dinner. But then we see these amazing juxtapositions of "everyday-ness", like bike riding with your kids, but mixed against the backdrop of landscapes that are absolutely sublime, like Half Dome or the Yosemite Valley, and we quickly realize that those moments ARE the reason for being out there. We could ALL ride a bike and have fun. But there's a HUGE difference between riding bikes with your family past the Dairy Queen on the corner of Elm and Pleasant St., and riding your bike in the shadow of one of the most majestic landscapes on earth. Stephen Meyer stoked to read this comment, those took a little bit of work to get the hang of. Still lots to learn.... Yosemite happened to be a place that’s 3D mapped . I took advantage of the ability, since you obviously can’t use a drone there. I thought it was pretty neat😃 thanks again 🙏😊

I was at Yosemite last year to mark one of my wife’s bucket list items and we loved it. There was a limited amount of people because of Covid so we were able to get a bunch of hikes and found easy parking everywhere. I guess we’re going to have to go explore Lake Tahoe.
As always great scenery and drone shots. Glad you are safe. Travel will be back as time allows. I’m back at a base in the WV mountains too. Time for RV projects and clean-out!

Kerry Sabella thank you for the encouragement! Sorry to see everyone in Maine getting hit with another snow storm. Hopefully you still have power.. we’re down here in Florida waiting, lucky for us it hasn’t changed any plans yet. Friends and family keep sending us Maine photos covered in snow🙈
Wow I lived down by Don Pedro lake area and we used to drive to Yosemite on the weekends but never knew they had RV camping. I saw the tent campground but not the RV campground. Good to know. Great video enjoy your travels.

Greg Miller thanks, man. Hope it can help a little bit while people are stuck at home, ourselves included. Glad you enjoyed the intro. It is my favorite part of each video!😃
LongTallTexan thanks so much for your kind words. Trying out a new thing with Google Earth. Lots more to learn but hope it gives a new perspective to people of where we are in the videos. Music is one of the more difficult aspects of editing, so it is nice to know people are liking the songs I’m editing with. Thanks!😃
Love Tahoe City! I got married at Garwoods in Carnelian Bay (next door). Great area. You guys are killing it with the quality of videos! Your content and level of videography is wonderful and I feel like you all deserve to be at the top of the RV travel UA-cam network. I imagine the algorithm and irregular uploads are the only thing holding you back. However, I can only imagine the time it takes to put this level of content out, and how much it would interrupt your life to meet that demand. Some things are not always worth the rush. Jeez, I'm getting off track! You have a beautiful family. It's been neat being able to live vicariously through your travels. These days where most of us are stuck inside, I really appreciate watching your adventures. Thanks!
Valerie R thanks for the compliments 🙏😊 you’re right the irregular uploads definitely hurt us . The edits do take me a lot of time, I need to get better at that... seriously so happy to read this comment though, I love the feedback and I love hearing the videos are affecting people in a positive way. Thanks again !
Trish ML awesome! I worry sometimes about people getting bored! 😬Glad you enjoyed it and it held your attention. Thank you so much for watching and joining us on our journey! 🙏
I haven't been to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite since I was a kid. Since so much is going on I have had to cancel my Alaska vacation and Tennessee trip. But watching your videos makes me feel better. Thanks for sharing.
disneymama78 so sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip. This virus has definitely altered plans for so many people. Glad we could bring a little bit of cheer to you as we all wait until we can travel again! Be safe and healthy and thank you for watching! 😃
Grew up in the Tahoe area and used to work across the street from Fanny Bridge in Tahoe City. Spent my teens and twenties romping around the lake... good times.
Brings back memories, we were at Yosemite in May 2019. Bikes are fun, ebikes even more. North Pines is always lottery, no reservations allowed because it floods so often. Each day they decide about occupancy. It appears the odds of flooding at North Pines was low, since Mirror Lake was dry. I've never seen that lake dry before, kinda odd, and I've been there in Oct. We stayed in Upper Pines nearby. That was a nice closing video clip.
@@chente-ov2rn I think you mean Upper Pines. North Pines is another small camping section that's usually a daily lottery due to the flooding issues they've had for years. I like North Pines, but never camped there.
@@TomSpurlock yes your correct my autocorrect added the pines at the end lol. But upper pines is our go to spot to go camping becuase its walking distance to the Merced river and half dome village .
@@TomSpurlock hopefully this july our reservations are still good , this will be our 17th trip to Yosemite national park. It never gets old it's just a majestic place to visit.
Tom Spurlock I guess we were just lucky to see it dry ( sarcasm😂) e bikes would be a blast! We need to make proper reservations and stay there for several days next time!
Love this video. Been to Lake Tahoe and I love it there. I went there at end if siring so there was a kitten bit of snow. But it was still nice there. Drove around the whole lake while there. So glad you were able to get in for one night at Yosemite. Thank you for this nice video.
@@FindingOurSomeday oh I forgot so glad nothing went wrong when your water froze. It must have unthawed. As I was watching you I was praying your tanks would be fine and they were thank god. Glad your going back this year I was want see it. See you all soon.
Beautiful video! Thanks for sharing video of some very familiar areas with us. Loved it! So happy for you being able to stay at Yosemite over night!!! This was one of our favorite camping spots every summer. Glad to hear you are staying safe.
Julie H Hope you’re safe as well! Yosemite is definitely a place you can go back to again and again. We hope to be back this year! Thanks for watching 🙏😊
Was Lake Tahoe where Fredo went "fishing" with his brother in the Godfather 2? Those trees were pretty big. Glad your hot water wasn't a bigger problem. That is one of the coolest bike rides I've ever seen. And nice use of golden hour, love that time lapse at the end.
Are you ever going to Yellowstone. We are finally doing our national park trips. In 2020 with no reservations, we found that the West Gate Yellowstone has a little town, really nice people, and a lot of free camping and a bunch of RV Parks. We actually stayed at Henry's Lake State Park without reservation. Its a great inexpensive place to stay if you ever go there. We also boondocked at free camp places there and at north entrance to Teton National Park. You all would Love it! We watch Nathan and Marisa and found you guys so we've started watching you too. You make great videos. Thanks and God bless you all! Stay safe
Fantastic video! Thank you all for entertaining this "at risk" viewer. I hope you have a good place to ride out this darkness. Stay safe and healthy and keep them coming.
Amazing video. We do know what it's like to have an empty lake. In June of 2022 we were at Jackson Lake Marina in the Grand Tetons, and if I could paste a picture I'd show you no water there. Completely dry just as the one you are in
Great video and great editing, like the Google Earth snippets as well... "Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul" John Muir 1838-1914. This Quote makes perfect sense 👍
noproblem2big Googles 3d is really cool! It’s limited to certain areas, but I had fun with it here. Thanks for the feedback! John Muir influenced so many people and I’m not sure where our park system would be without him. I’m sure you’ve seen it already but if you haven’t, watch Ken burns National Park “America’s greatest idea” on Amazon prime. Thanks for watching🙏😊
Oh no! Hopefully you can tinker on it in the mean time , figure out storage and whatnot. We’re actually redoing some things in ours right now while we wait.
I had a cousin and his wife go to Lake Tahoe for a getaway and he too showed pictures of the cool looking castle on the rocks!! Hope to someday be able to get there by traveling in our new to us camper. Your video was super cool!! How did you do that?
Amy Pletcher I’m not sure what part you’re referring to as far as “how did I do that” but the answer is probably a lot of patience 😂 that amazing, so glad to hear you got a new camper. What did you guys get? You will make it there 💪
Awesome episode again! Lake Tahoe looked very nice! We really loved that mansion, it definately looked pretty cool! A shame that you couldn't have gotten a tour in it. And that little island with that stone structure on it was pretty neat as well. I must add that your cinematography is really, really good! I've been noticing how much better it gets with every episode! Quick question, are you using any filters with your drone? Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your next installment! :)
ShoHashi I appreciate the compliments and comments from you as always🙏😊 we will have to go back and do a tour when it’s open. I don’t use any filters, although a lot of times the footage may benefit from it. I’m actually still using the same drone, it’s about time to retire it after over 2 years and a few thousand miles flown😃
We love bodies of water. The scenery was spectacular. That tree trunk was amazing. Was it carved out or did tree grown in that form? I'm(Lou) a huge Ansel Adams fan. When I was there I visited the gallery and it was an amzing experience. Hope you guy are staying safe & healthy. Lou & Angie
Eat Sleep RV Repeat we do, too! Lake, ocean river...we’re in! That tree trunk bench was cool. It looked like the bench was carved out of a tree trunk and then another tree grew up behind it. We loved the Ansel Adams museum at Yosemite. The first time I went to the park, it was winter and l loved photographing Yosemite covered in snow! Those black and white shots are some of my favorites. Thanks for checking in. Hoping you both are safe and healthy as well! 😃
Must visit Lake Tahoe someday. You guys are brave to get in water. Glad pipes are ok. Is your trailer 4 season? Just curious. Yikes. As always best photography out there combined with fun conversation. Thank you
Thank you for compliment! It is “4 season “ the problem was we only thought it was getting to 40 (65 during the day)that night so the furnace and hot water heater were not on. We typically don’t turn the hot water heater on until we take showers. The hot water is usually ready within 5 mins. Camping in temperatures below 40 degrees becomes very inefficient . I think it got down lower then 15 degrees, It was strange😃
Shelley McCarthy please go more😳😂 it’s typical though... we all do it, we put off going to places near us because we feel we could do it anytime. Unfortunately “anytime” sometimes never happens.... thanks for taking the time to comment 🙏😊 have a great night!
I wish all parks did a release of unclaimed sites. A lot of places here in Washington sit because people, book 9 months in advance and just don’t come. Especially during peak summer / fall time
Unique Adventurez we do, too, along with wishing that people would cancel their reservations if they aren’t able to camp anymore. It would make life so much easier for everyone! Thanks for watching! 😃
Finding Our Someday . Just stumbled onto your channel . You guys have a great thing going. Going to be catching up on your channel over the weekend. We are building our channel ,but in the beginning stages , love learning from other creators !
Sandra Westley from the UK here you have to pay a booking fee and it’s the cost of several nights stay, if you cancel within 24 hours your forfeit your deposit, if you cancelled with 72 hours you get your deposit back, you have to leave your debit card no, and your charged according to when you cancel, to stop people booking up loads of sites on the what if I feel like going, also we are members of a extensive trailer club site, which is computerised and you cannot book one site in the north and another in the south so if the weather is not to your liking you go where the weather is good, so this booking system has to some degrees sorted a lot of problems over here, but obviously there are ways round this by being members of several clubs and then you can still get away with booking several different places for the same time. It is very annoying when people don’t cancel.
Next October, we are planning on driving from Lee Vining to Yosemite Valley. How was driving up Tioga Pass? We have a 24' Class C. On RV.net, we have read really bad things about Tioga Pass. They say not to take an RV over it due to steep grades and drop offs. Ya'll appeared to have no problems. What advise would you give us?
It’s the western entrances you must choose correctly, at least one road has tight switch backs and road signs say “no rv”. do your research and avoid that road if you have a larger rig
Lived and worked in Incline for many years it WAS an absolutely amazing place to live ❣ Then they started allowing motorized boats on lake and now the Moratorium has fallen off the FOOLS in charge are selling lots on Lake and destroying this beautiful lake 💔! And yes from time to time floaters would come up but most are just skeleton's now, usually around Whale rock which was a nudist beach 😁😁 Capones home wasn't too far away !
@@FindingOurSomeday I wasn't confused 🤔 lol I don't know if you saw her Tea area on the Island that's right in the little bay there. I've been there too. Great history! I've been going there for 55 years. Hopefully you made it to Fallen Leaf Lake . It's even better than Tahoe. IMO.👍
Hope your Ansel Adams moments were spectacular! I was just looking through a book of his photos & wondering how close one could get to the angle he took his iconic photos from.
Libby Olson you could good get pretty close to his work for 2 reasons the first would be luck. Lucky you had decent equipment but more then that lucky to be there in the right conditions at the right time in the right place. The second way is to dedicate a whole year shooting there, waiting for the perfect conditions (what he essentially did) . that being said I wasn’t exactly happy with the photos I got . We were there such a short period of time we focused on what we could do and shoot some video. That just means we will have to go back with more time !
Definitely! The ones I need are 1k and a pretty big pain to change out. It looks like a sissy truck... I have the rear observation camera so lane changes have never been an issue.
Gary Hass I can see down the sides It’s just harder to see up and down without physically moving my head. The girls are old enough to not need life jackets. Hope you enjoyed the video. Have a great night, stay safe!
Nice video, but plesae buy helmets and wear them on bikes even just around campground. One miss step and whole adventure is ruined, maybe for a long time.
We actually have helmets but no bikes now🤷♂️ pretty soon it won’t be “safe” to simply walk around without a helmet. Glad you enjoyed the video, have a great day🙏😊

Travel Camp 365 there’s so many trees down there that it’s easy to miss. That and you constantly looking up😃 thanks for watching, have a great day🙏
Kudo’s for no crazy styrofoam headgear 🥳👍🏻. You guys do great relaxed, no panic scenic, active and informative video’s ....with your family. Thanks for sharing. 🍻
👊Thank you, there’s only so much you can worry about 😎
The bike rides looked epic,I’m truly jealous of y’all’s family adventures.
Always a pleasure to watch your adventures! Thanks for sharing. Great images! Godspeed, travelers, God keep you safe.
Paul McGuire thank you for watching and joining us! We are glad you are enjoying them and hope and pray you are well and safe right now! 🙏
Wonderful video again guys!!! Nice to watch and ease our thoughts if only for a short while.... Spectacular intro again Corey!
Greg Miller thanks, man. Hope it can help a little bit while people are stuck at home, ourselves included. Glad you enjoyed the intro. It is my favorite part of each video!😃
Phenomenal video, yall! Love the integration of Google Earth. And your music game was strong! Thanks for always sharing your epic journeys with us!
Thanks!😃
As usual, stunning photography! Another Great video!
msmithpro you’re the best thank you 🙏 have a great night!
Wow! Excellent video! I didn't want it to end. You guys rock. Can't wait for the next one. :) 👍
Trish ML awesome! I worry sometimes about people getting bored! 😬Glad you enjoyed it and it held your attention. Thank you so much for watching and joining us on our journey! 🙏
Your drone video, edits and eye for content is fantastic!
Allen S huge compliment, you’re awesome! Thank you 🙏 👊
I haven't been to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite since I was a kid.
@@FindingOurSomeday Thanks
Grew up in the Tahoe area and used to work across the street from Fanny Bridge in Tahoe City. Spent my teens and twenties romping around the lake... good times.
sportsfaan what an amazing place to spend during that part of life! We were blown away by Tahoe and can’t wait to go back! 👍
Tahoe Tessie is real. I've ridden her. Great video.
We will have to give you call before our next hunt for her to get some tips on how to lure her in😃
Those are some amazing places to go!,!!!! I wish I could come!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤗🤗🤗😂😂 Good video guys! I wish to see more later on!! Cute deers!!!
s st thank you so much for watching! Hope you are able to get out there for yourself SOMEDAY! 😃
Beautiful family and scenery. Thanks for the awesome video.
MWB thank you 🙏 😊 glad you enjoyed it! Stay safe!
We always stay in upper north pines every year we make reservations.
It’s beautiful there! We hope to hit Yosemite again this year!
@@FindingOurSomeday oh I forgot so glad nothing went wrong when your water froze. It must have unthawed. As I was watching you I was praying your tanks would be fine and they were thank god. Glad your going back this year I was want see it. See you all soon.
This looks amazing! Adding it to our ever growing list of places to go and see!
Awesome vid I really enjoyed the beauty of the scenic views 🤟🏼👌🏼
Poncelopr stoked you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to comment 🙏
Your welcome and god bless you guys during these dark of times 🙏🏼
Stay safe
Let's go, people, my fellow New Englanders need 25 thousand subs they do a great job and yes the bikes were the way to go.
Lawrence Constantine haha ! Thank you! I appreciate the enthusiasm🙏😊 Maybe one day we can get that many 😳
Fantastic video! Thank you all for entertaining this "at risk" viewer. I hope you have a good place to ride out this darkness. Stay safe and healthy and keep them coming.
Randall Caraway we are safe , and I hope you continue to be as well 🙏 lots more coming! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video😊
Great video! One of the best views of Half Dome is at the Upper Pines dump station.
stan lemke 😂 I think that’s the one we were at! Thanks 🙏 😊
Great video guys, spectacular footage. Keep up the great work, and be safe in these crazy times....

Awesome video as usual. Glad to hear you guys are safe.
Richard Davis we are and I hope you are as well! Thanks for the compliment🙏😊 have a great night!
Amazing video. We do know what it's like to have an empty lake. In June of 2022 we were at Jackson Lake Marina in the Grand Tetons, and if I could paste a picture I'd show you no water there. Completely dry just as the one you are in
Ah, I thought that island castle looked somewhat Scandinavian. Enjoying your adventures, you are a wonderful family.
You’re awesome, thank you! That property is really neat!
@@FindingOurSomeday ... thanks I will.
We have the same camper. Bought it right before the virus started and haven't got to use it yet !!!!
Oh no! Hopefully you can tinker on it in the mean time , figure out storage and whatnot. We’re actually redoing some things in ours right now while we wait.
Awesome awesome, awesome. Thanks you! Blessings
Emerald bay....my favorite place on earth! 🌎
Enjoy your videos. Yosemite is on my bucket list.
Richard Meyer when you get there, stay longer then us😂🙈 have a great night😃
You guys put out good video's.i like it.from idaho
Thank you , I appreciate the compliment 🙏
Thank you for another great video.
Amazing. I had no idea it was so beautiful. Thank You
Yosemite will blow you away! I assume that’s what you’re referring to ? Thanks for watching🙏😊 stay safe and have a great night!
Beautiful scenery
KENT ARIOLA stoked you enjoyed it 🙏😎
We love bodies of water.
So glad you guys are safe and doing well. What month did you take your trip to Tahoe and Yosemite
Thea Lee we are, hope you are as well! This was the middle of October. Thanks for watching !
Did you know? Mono Lake is actually saltier than the ocean! Learned that on a geology class field trip to the area back in 1984. ;-)
wife always smiling amazing wow u r lucky
Lucky indeed, thank you !
Another incredible video ❤️
klbarton81 thanks again🙏 hope you are well!
@@FindingOurSomeday we are all doing well just hoping it stays that way.
I live about 2 hours away from Yosemite and only been there one time last year. Don’t know why? It’s beautiful
Shelley McCarthy please go more😳😂 it’s typical though... we all do it, we put off going to places near us because we feel we could do it anytime. Unfortunately “anytime” sometimes never happens.... thanks for taking the time to comment 🙏😊 have a great night!
hi! my aunt is actually cathy that you stayed with in tahoe, I had dinner with me and she told me all about your account!
Well, you are very lucky to have such a cool aunt😎 has she taken you out on her boat yet!?
@@FindingOurSomeday not yet but hopefully soon
Awesome video. Yosemite was
my favorite place when I was a child....too crowded now. What video editing software do you use?
Thank you🙏😊 unfortunately it is super crowded.... maybe this will be the year to go back! I use iMovie currently.
Same thing happened to us with the frozen hot water then it thawed with no damage.
Troy I was just surprised it froze in such a short amount of time ! It must not have frozen fully 🤷♂️ glad yours didn’t have any damage either!
Yeah it was just overnight at the Thousand trails at Seaside Or. woke up the next morning and frozen was crazy
you guys having flying spiders!! I thought Australian spiders were bad!
Cool video! How long is that travel trailer?
Thank you 🙏 😊 it’s 35.5 feet long
Next October, we are planning on driving from Lee Vining to Yosemite Valley. How was driving up Tioga Pass? We have a 24' Class C. On RV.net, we have read really bad things about Tioga Pass. They say not to take an RV over it due to steep grades and drop offs. Ya'll appeared to have no problems. What advise would you give us?
J J we’re almost 60 feet long , I didn’t think anything of it. You can do it no problem😃 maybe we’ll see you there! We want to go again this year!
Come back soon, I saw you all in Florida with LJMJ.
We hope to this fall. Hopefully the world is still spinning then😃
Very nice video. You saw Yosemite at a good time . In the summer , the number of people make it not so enjoyable
jnel57 thank you! We try to avoid large crowds at all cost! 😉
Cement shoes. Tahoe is my hometown.

Middle of October
Are you allowed to travel now?

That's Called the Vikingsholm. 🤔
DougD not a house you want to mess with😳😂
@@FindingOurSomeday I've been in it. 😬🙄
DougD oh, it seemed like you were confused that it was called Vikingsholm . Wish it was open while we we’re there!
IMO.👍
DougD we didn’t , but if the world settles itself it was our plan to go back this year. Thanks for the tip!
Cold air sinks
YouGoobers it got the best of us 😃 no harm and we learned from it!
FYI: Mono Lake is pronounced 'moan-oh' and Tioga is pronounced 'tie-oh-guh'
You need tow mirrors on your truck bud!
Definitely! The ones I need are 1k and a pretty big pain to change out. It looks like a sissy truck... I have the rear observation camera so lane changes have never been an issue.
@@FindingOurSomeday Hope you can see down the side of your RV, if not you could be cited. Also, kids should wear life preservers, no excuses there.

no life jackets!
"YOSEMITE WITHOUT RESERVATIONS" - Indians are the only ones I know of that have reservations. ha ha ha
