44:20 This was my huge issue with the Supercars social media pages when they were posting that they were cracking down on their comments section like they don't incite a lot of the abuse themselves. I get they've got a show to sell but they're not even subtle about it most of the time. That's what made your COVID debrief streams so great, we got to see your personalities with less of a filter. You definitely gained at least one fan through those.
I've been lucky enough to be at every 500 in some capacity and the overall event this year was the best in quite a few years. I didn't quite get to the sprintcars properly but I did go for a look in the paddock. As a bike fan, having supercross was a master stroke and the support category lineup was solid. Love the tranny ams 🤘 Still buzzing!
Subscribed, love all the podcasts. Said G'day to ya Scotty at the Speedway on Friday night and had a great chat to Barbs at turn 8 on Saturday arvo.. what a cool dude to talk about motorsport with ya hey. keep up the great job by all the Team🍻👌
Barbs I had no idea who you where. Had herd your name in supports over the years. But since you started this iv tried to find everything you've raced. Big fan now mate. ❤ you too Scotty 😅
As a Ford fan since the 70’s I have noticed a definite decline in the brand support vs driver and team support, personally I now find myself more interested in who the driver is vs the old school red vs blue. I was shooting at Gold Coast and Adelaide and due to our very close proximity to the crowd at both venues I noticed lots more people cheering and talking about individual drivers and teams rather than the across the board the other colour is evil type mentality. Give their drivers back their voice and let them tell it how it is rather than the vanilla we get now. Great show guys really enjoying the content
Subscribed. Awesome pod. As for guests, I reckon Paul Morris would be good value. Would be interesting to hear his side of the Brodie Kostecki story if possible, especially given what Peter Adderton had to say when he was a guest on AHU.
I think everyone would like to hear what really happened, but big business wealthy owners & their non disclosure agreements signed by their employees prevent or are to scare people from talking publicly
Subscribed Loving the podcast boys! I’ve watched supercars my whole life and I’d unfortunately gone away from it over the last few years - this has absolutely renewed my interest and I’m hanging out for each new episode! Keep up the great work!
Subscribed! Boys Pete Xibberus would be awesome. Or even get some mechanics from the cars. Every now and again broadcast says who the No1 mechanic is, but we need a face for the name!
Subscribed. Now where's my stubby holder? 😂 Love that you're breaking the mould and sharing your opinions as well as some inside stories. Don't watch much SC racing these days but never miss a pod from you fellas! Keep up the great work!
Subscribed! Love the pod. Just got home from seeing Swill at the car yard in Toowoomba. Now for a bit of apex hunters. Pretty good Sunday. Supercars seem to have made the gala available to watch on their website.
Subscribed! Only recently found you guys, love it and look forward to the new episodes (even if I don't get to them straight away). You have done a great job to get me interested in the racing again, was so over Supercars this year, didn't watch a race until Townsville. The ideas you have around practice being cut is spot on to help the small teams get up the front! Thanks guys!
Subscribed How about Tony Cochrane as a guest, he's moved on to other interests, but whether he'd say how he really felt about supercars at the moment, would b worth a listen Bring him back as CEO I reckon!
Already Subscribed months ago hands my favourite motorsports pod , sorry Noons but the boys have taken pole position still love the Sleuth but you boys are doing such a cracking job next level up from the Dude and Enforcer
Great meeting Barbs at Adelaide, and great pod once again boys. I sat in the grandstand opposite the pits and I noted a few things about the reaction coming from people in the grandstand. First of all Chaz and Will Brown are absolute favourites. Broc got booed after the race for punting Chaz and I think that wasn't really fair. It took some people a few laps to realise that Broc wasn't gonna win because of his penalties. As for that bloke's comments about the Sunday race being a procession, I reckon he didn't pay enough attention. 12 laps in we had a story. Brownie's down and has to get back through the field. Then there were a bunch of other penalties to various drivers. Saturday you could call a procession, but Sunday was a spectacle. Best of both worlds. A straight race and a blockbuster movie.
Subscribed. Really enjoyed the insights behind the scenes and some unbiased opinions. Love to know how many of those special cut and pasted letters are out there! Keep up the great work legends!
Great podcast again lads…. Couple of bits of input for the discussion. 1. Agree on giving bottom half of the field extra test days or an extra session and extra new tyres the following year. Might help them dial in a quali setup and mix the field up. 2. Coey laps at Bathurst. Simply change the rule co driver has to do 45% laps minimum and cannot be in a single stint. And you cannot change drivers more than once during individual safety care events. Also anyone NOT in the top 10 for quali can elect to start a co driver if they wish. 3. Bairdo does a fantastic job & I agree punishment should fit the crime. Simple bump & run where the car in front loses MORE than 1 position - redress required within 2 laps. And if you damage the car in front (requiring a pit stop) OR fence them so they end up in the back of the field - PLP. And Supercars would have to make those decisions final. No recourse for protesting either during or after the event. Supercars need to protect the DSO from all the BS politics than can happen otherwise no decent person would ever want to do the job. 4. Last one - put ARB and BBias adjusters back in the cars. And stop asking Brodie an opinion on it. It’s clearly an advantage for him as he’s figured out the recipe for speed without them. So he’ll push to not have them reinstated. Would help those guys who don’t quite nail the race setup to try and fix it up in the first stint. Just my thoughts on some good topics.
Subscribed many months ago. Did you guys watch "The Front Bar' on Thursday 21.11.24? They had a Bathurst segment, mentioned Brodie winning, showed the Jim Richards moment (not sure why) then go "But hey, who ever remembers who comes third at Bathurst?" Well, we yelled "Scotty and Will did!!!" back at our poor TV... LOL. 'avagoodone boys!!!!
Subscribed. Because honest Motorsport conversation cant be found publicly anywhere else.

57:45 even better would be that the 2nd last stint has to be co-drivers, keeps them in the racing to the end and mixes up the strategies.
