@@calvindevries Nearly every fighter "stopped" by the referee says the same thing. By saying he disagreed with the stoppage, that makes him neither narcissistic, nor a bad sport. In addition, his comments about the stoppage were immediately following the fight. I suspect, after getting some rest, watching the fight again, and some reflection, he'll feel differently about it. Incidentally, I, although not a big Mark Goddard fan, felt that it was a very justified stoppage. Izzy looked like he had no path to recovery and Goddard simply saved him from a potentially Savage KO.

Same people that said, 'this will be a chess game' also said, 'it's not fair, Adesanya dominated the fight'. Bro, in chess, doesn't matter if you got a dominant position the whole game if somehow you got checkmated at the end
It does matter for people who analyze fights. Like I've always watched UFC fights because I enjoy watching how specific fight styles mix. I always prefer decisions than early knockouts or submissions. When a fight ends early I'm just disappointed. It feels like the power goes out in the middle of a movie. Watching someone get knocked out isn't entertaining to me. Decision wins prove who was truly better and whose style is more dominant. Even though this fight ended with a finish, it happened in round 5. That gives people like me a lot of subject matter before the finish. Sometimes the fight is more important than the result. Like if Peirera loses his next fight by total domination, people who just saw the finish will be shocked. I won't be. Adesanya exposed all Alex's holes and gave contenders a lot to look at. Adesanya got his first career takedown on Alex and held him down. Imagine what Robert or Marvin would do to him. So yeah. If I'm beating you the whole chess game, and you suddenly have me in checkmate, the next guy will beat you with ease.

Haha brilliant ending. The googley eyed 'it was just my leg' after having been saved from what wouldve been a terrible ko after being out on his feet several shots already. So on point. Izzy not the kind of guy to admit defeat though. Shame, he might learn something if he did.
he did admit it though
He did admit defeat. But he was right when he said he was winning 3/5 rounds. He probably could have won if he didnt run in the 5th round
Izzy has been nothing short of classy and gave credit to both of his octagon opponents in his mere two losses. You misspoke, man.
@@Cucumberdrx Ehhhh, its not classy to disagree with the referee stoppage. The man is a narcissist and puts on a tough guy persona. He recognized his losses, he didn't "give credit" and he still complained and downplayed how compromised he was.
Izzy looked like he had no path to recovery and Goddard simply saved him from a potentially Savage KO.
this is a cinematic masterpiece
best part 1:36 😅🤣
This was an actual replay of the fight , good job 👍
I wonder if you could make something with Adesanya is wearing fur (like at the press conference) and
Pereira as a hunter?
Maybe Adesanya has a nightmare and Pereira hunts him.
That echo’ed “aahhhh” after that check🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yoooo I watched the fights last night and this thing is so accurate 😂🤣😂
"He is just in some Favela telling his friends he knocked me out one time"
well, now he can tell he knocked you out twice lol sure you want a rematch izzy?! already 3 - 0
Alhumdullah our brother dominated everyone.May Allah bless him with successful career like khabib ,Islam ,mike tyson and Muhammad Ali .
@@lykastannis7662 You underestimated Pereira too much..keep crying bro, I know what you feel after your boy got annihilated in round 5.. FROZEN LIKE ELSA, YOUR BOY!!
@@quasar8744 Loser. I actually became a fan of Adesanya with this fight. People who hate on him after this are the most pathetic people in the world. I didn't underestimate him at all. I'm not impressed with his MMA skills. He did nothing the whole fight and got outclassed. Also Adesanya was flopping and bubbling like a fish. He was numb like Nemo, flaccid like fishy Finn, and saggy like Squidward. He was never frozen like Elsa sadly.
@@lykastannis7662 keep coping
The laughs by any character, makes me laugh so hard 😅😂
Esse canal e foda demais tô rindo muito 🤣🇧🇷
Look how big Alex's hands are man. Dude has boulders for hands.
Eu tava esperando por essa kkk RECEBA
Jon Jones at the end:"Frozen, like Elsa" and laughing
Lol 😂😂👍👍
This is exactly what I’ve been wait for 😭
1:52 i loved that reload 😂. imagine if the punching sounds were gunshot sounds as well, would have been badass
