About that thing you said about the JAA going after Rion's family if she becomes a fugitive; please remember that the organization does not interfere with citizens.
12:56 i’m assuming rion would be surprised only due to the fact oki an leading order member was against taking innocent civilians hostage along and the point of the JAA is to keep peace so maybe they rule the thought of hostages out.
(DISCLAIMER: This is all my opinion and how I've interpreted Rion's char) There's a few things to note for this chap to make sense imo. Rion's personality, Rion's actual strength, and Rion's own past. Rion's clearly a usually blase char, who just kinda takes life in stride. This is immediately shown to be only a layer of her char, which has more nuance than just that. She's a genuinely caring, and empathetic person. While we may be selfish people, Rion simply isn't like that. Rion's already been established to be one of the JCC's top 3, even above Sakamoto in physicals by this point. There's an incredibly low percent of what could do her harm, so she feels comfortable helping Uzuki. Rion's family is important to her, which is exactly why she helps Uzuki. It further displays how important Rion thinks family is, almost to a fault. While we'd go about this selfishly, if you collide this trait with overwhelming empathy, it perfectly explains this chapter. For example, we'd never call Yuta an idiot for joining the student fugitives after the events of Shibuya, instead of aligning himself with the higher ups, to keep his back clean. Yuta's confident in his strength, and he's empathetic enough to put himself in danger for Megumi's sister, despite knowing there's people who need him.
TLDR; Rion's too empathetic to watch Uzuki suffer, she's too strong and confident to feel threatened by most, and trying to apply your own mindset to her actions just doesn't apply here, since she's too different of a person, realistic or not. She's a char with a faulty mindset, which even Uzuki mentions, and constantly questions her rather stupid actions. She makes plenty of bad decisions, and that's what her char has always been, since the first flashback. This should be nothing new.

You just selfish pencil like most of us 😂. Rion is actong selflessly purely because she shares a connection with uzuki in which they both have a younger family member they wsnt to protect, and she feel sympathy coz he was forced against his will to kill kindaka

After this chapter rion was demonted to trash character, i actually loved her chemistry of friendship with saka and nagu on jcc but after this stupid actions she took with no meaning just for the sake of , " i feel you " ugh what a down bringer rion zzzz. Rion is really really dumb and boring character now , its ironic she calls other boring while she herself is one of the most dumb character now

nah i think Asaki kills her and since she was probably the only person ever nice to him he just felt a type of way
