Never noticed the drummer's Rebel Alliance shoulder tattoo before. As a fellow Star Wars tattoo-sporting nerd, I'm greatly (and somewhat easily) impressed by this, haha.
That droning sound at he end of this song reminds me of that little growl from Simon at the beginning of "drop it dickhead" (one of my favourites). Glad to hear Simon sounding so happy again but looking forward to hearing other side as well.
Muse and Biffy are both very similar bands... Think about it Both are British, both are a Three piece, both are extremely talented musicians, both have released 6 studio albums, both have greatly unique Vocal styles, both have a huge amount of incredible hidden B-Side songs (that id urge any fans to find and listen to) and both bands suffered at one of their members turning to drink around the same time in their career and got through it... its incredible how closely linked they are Awesome
Was SO lucky to see them in a little bar in Tempe Arizona with 80 other people. Nobody in the states know who these guys are YET. There might only have ben 80 of us but they brought their "A" game. What a show!
The main riff leading into the first verse fits 6/4. You could call it 4/4 followed by a bar of 6/8, but it would be much easier to read/write as 6/4 with the last two beats written as triplets. Also, 2 bars of 3/4 would technically fit, but the feel isn't that of 3/4 (there's no emphasis on the 4th beat of the riff) so would be the least likely. Try counting 6 beats over the riff with strong emphasis on beat one and a feel shift to triplets for the last 2; it's much easier to hold that timing without mixing time signatures. Peace \/

my favourite band is Muse, and I just love how so many Biffy fans are also Muse fans! I saw them in Toronto, Canada a couple weeks ago and Biffy opened, and I can't believe I'd never heard of them! so good live!! they're now definitely in my top 5 non-ordered favourite bands :D
