I’ve had a cheap hundred dollar acoustic since i’ve been playing 4 years, built a cabin for my grandpa at his ranch, got my first check and got blessed with an amazing deal on a Martin. Can’t wait.
@@NickNicometi hands down the best built and best sounding acoustics, in my opinion. Worth every penny. But you cannot appreciate them until you achieve a certain level of skill. It is not a beginner’s guitar.
whenever I want to learn a new song and get a lesson with all the subtle nuances, passing chords etc I look for you first because I know it'll sound spot on! Sometimes it may be beyond me to play it but if I could I'd be playing it right........
Hey man, I have watched a good 50 plus videos of yours and the ones that you kind of hum out or sing the parts make them way easier to learn. Keep it up! I Love It! 😁
It’s an interesting chord sequence……so typical of Pink Floyd. Unfortunately I only got to see them once way back in 1970 in a sports centre in Port Talbot, South Wales.

I know you will not be disappointed. I have a Martin d28 made in 1995. Same guitar Gilmour plays these songs on. Enjoy your guitar!!!
But is a Martin really so much better than, say, a Yamaha, Fender, or a Mitchell?
@@NickNicometi Yes, it is.

That would be called a Bsus2 (replacing the third with the 2cd scale degree, c#)
Pull this one out at the party and seriously blow some minds.
C add9. Great substitution
This is a very good video what is your opinion of pink floyd
On the intro, I prefer a regular B minor followed by A but without the D flat on the B string. But that’s just me. Thanks for the videos.
asus2 right? i prefer that prog too
in the later sections of this song is this the chords that are play with heavy distortion/fuzz..?
hello i was curious what picks you use for acoustic guitar? thank you

Do you have a strong opinion on Sitka vs Adirondack spruce tops on Martins? Thanks
I don’t, actually.
@@jamesjames9275 thanks! In fact, thanks again for all you do for us
Is that a Bsus2?
C9 I am no expert but that's what they call it
Try it in Nashville tuning!
Too much of a pain in the neck for me. :)
