This is lit fam (fire emoji would be here if I knew how to do it)

Thank you, this is a great video!
Excellent Source. I'll be using this often. Thanks!
As a math teacher, I would definitely appreciate an additional button when writing on a slideshow. At the very end, my options are to "keep writing" or "discard writing". I often discard since I have to use the same slideshow for the next period (I also don't want to create 6 copies of each slideshow). If there could be a third option such as "create a new copy / PDF with writing" , that would be amazing.
Also would love to write on PowerPoint presentations when presenting on Teams. The only way I can write is if I just share my entire screen. This prevents me from using the new presenter views :/
Thanks again! Looking forward for the next video.
More to come!
Wow, that was awesome - thanks for making these edu videos!
Sure thing!
This was mind blowing, thank you for the video
Thanks vry much. Very useful and well explained and clear.
Thank you so much. It is very useful
Amazing video, very well done. I learned a lot!. Thank you very much.
Great to hear!
Thank you
Brilliant tips, clearly demo'd.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for your tutorial, I've picked up some great tips. I have a PP animation problem and cannot find the answer! I have a counter moving along a custom path on a snakes and ladders games board, but I cannot get it to stop 'bouncing back' to the start. I.e. the counter does not stay at the end of the path, but goes back to the start. Under ''effect options', rewind is not checked. Repeat says 'none'. I've closed down PP, rebooted... but I cannot get it to stop going back to the beginning. It's like this on new slides where I've applied the custom path. I've also made sure under slide show/setup, 'loop until escape' is not checked. Do you know please how to solve this? Yours in PP despair. Thank you
Hi Sir, thank you for your tutorials. I watch your videos every time, and do it actual in my laptop until i familiarize the shortcuts and techniques. Really it helps a lot. We will expect more and more videos from you sir, Thank you much. Better to watch here than TIKTOK, Again thank you Sir.
Glad these are helpful!
Excellent video & great pace..
Thanks!
Thanks Mike- I'm trying to get either the ppt or pdf of the powerpoint you created on this video but neither the link nor the qr code you created in the presentation are live at this point. how can I access the deck itself rather than just the UA-cam presentation? Thanks- great tips, cant wait to use them!
Very Nice and lovely
amazing video.
Thank you!
You had me at owl and golf course.
Mantap
thanks so much for posting this its really great, one of the issues I have is showing a UA-cam video embed in PP presenting over teams. the only way I can do it is to display desktop but them I can't see Persenter view or the participants any ideas
I’m not sure on that one. Can you file an EDU support ticket at aka.ms/edusupport? Also, here is a short video on using the Microsoft EDU support site to submit a ticket: ua-cam.com/video/JC5nEhBtpfA/v-deo.html
terimakasih
Excellent content.
Thanks!
@@MikeTholfsen No problem.
Thanks Mike, learned some great new tips! One thing I could not replicate is locking shape layers via the Selection Pane. I have the ability to show and hide my layers, but do not see a lock icon. On "Current Channel" running PowerPoint Version 2102 (Build 12801.20294 Click-to-Run).
Hmmm - that's weird. That should totally be there for current channel. Are you on PC PowerPoint?
@@MikeTholfsen Hey Mike, yeah on PC. I have all the other functionality outlined in the video, just missing that one. When I open the Selection Pane, I have the eye icons to show/hide, but no lock icons.
Hi Mike, love the videos…I wonder what software or app do you use for the video recordings?
I use Camtasia
@@MikeTholfsen thanks, appreciate it
Hi Mike -
I have learned a great deal from your channel. So thanks for all that you do. I do have one question.
When I upload a PowerPoint file into Teams using the new presenter view sometimes I need to take my audience to a separate shared screen on another application.
Once I navigate away from the uploaded PowerPoint view to a separate shared screen how do I get back to the PowerPoint I previously uploaded when I am done with my other screen?
I usually end up re-uploading the PowerPoint which takes time.
I am then prompted by Teams to confirm if I want to replace the previously uploaded PowerPoint to which I say 'yes' because I have no idea how to get back to the uploaded PowerPoint.
If I knew how to get back to the uploaded PowerPoint it would help the flow of my workshops.
Thanks,
Keith
You should be able to go back to the Share tray and then pick the PPT that you uploaded
@@MikeTholfsen Ok it took me a week to sort this out. It could be how my work O365 account is configured but the uploaded presentations in Teams appear in a connected SharePoint folder.
So I now save a shortcut to the SharePoint folder to quickly access previously uploaded presentations.
The previously uploaded presentation links don’t appear in my SharePoint quick reference list on Teams. I have to physically navigate to SharePoint to select the previously uploaded presentation.
Very bubbly narration. I feel like I could go right now to make some slides 😜🤣😎
Do it!
Thank you for these tips. Question related to ppt presenter view in teams- When I am presenting my ppt through teams and also recording and I want to share a video, I cant do it. I have to stop sharing and then share my desktop for students to watch+listen which is annoying as I cant see the chat or the participants. Am I doing something wrong as I cant enable my computer sound(video) in presenter mode in teams as you have shared in your first tip? Thanks
So you did Share System audio and the sound is still not coming through?
@@MikeTholfsen hi exactly. I do share when in presenter mode, and also recording, and it does not work. I have to exit presenter mode, go into share window with my ppt on and click again into share audio. Thanks
Great, Mike! Where can I find your - in background showed - presentation "Microsoft Technology - Supporting an inclusive and Equitable Education"? Thx so much for your work!!
Here is a version of it aka.Ms/InclusiveDeck
@@MikeTholfsen Hej Mike - thanks so much for this. Do you know, if there is a "Mike Tholfsen" in Switzerland :-) ? So great your work for an inclusive M365 world!! I try to bring it into German / French :-)
@@regulavonlanthen Sure thing. Are you saying there is another person with the exact same name, or someone doing similar thing?
@@MikeTholfsen There is unfortunately no Mike Tholfsen in Switzerland - me asking: if there is one ⭐️ - doing same work on inclusive M365 in German / French 😊... I'm deeply on it - searching for sparring partners 💪🏼.
What to do if the icon of designer ideas is not available?
love Teams and powerpoint
Mo too!
@@MikeTholfsen powerpoint brings the my work a bit more closer to what I am try to say
Great tips, but haven't tip #11 and #12 been around for years?
Yup. Not everything is new in here, but some are just useful features that not everyone knows about
Not bad
Hi, if I don´t have rehearse with coach, what can I do?
Can you access it on the web?
@@MikeTholfsen Hi I did, but I don't have that option. How do I get that?
@@janetcastroguzman2183 Are you using Office 365?
@@MikeTholfsen yes I use office 365, I use the account of my school.
is this microsoft 365?
Yes
I learned a few things I’ll use right away! Thank you for these videos!
