The fact is the animations are so smooth and realistic. Its really difficult to do animations like this even in 2024.

Most games nowadays still can't achieve what those old games does
Dice was the first to do photogrammetery (Battlefront) and the first to give ray tracing(BFV). They always pushed their quality to max limits(until BFV).
