Btw Kobe 3 straight final appearance whiteout Shaq he faced 11 50 win teams out of 12 possible the jazz had 48. I think it took LeBron 8 straight to match that. Not sure but could be wrong
05 Spurs had such an easy road. Three decent teams that couldn’t win when it mattered. With the Lakers out of the picture, San Antonio had a cakewalk through the “loaded” West.
I think they still would’ve won but I wish we would have got to see them vs the Suns at full strength. That was probably Phoenix’s best team of that era and Joe Johnson gets hurt vs Dallas
I say 2011 Mavs, just because of their team. You had Dirk, then ok-good role players. Fvck regular season records, but this Spurs team eliminated a healthy 3-time champion while still on their prime. To eliminate a team with 2 top 10 players all time, who are healthy and in their primes is a massive achievement.
I think 03 kind of gets overlooked because of the 2 years before. Spurs had home court and were slight favorites in 01 and 02 and got blitzed off the floor both times. Even when they finally beat the Lakers I remember a lot of people saying the Lakers were just tired after 3 title runs

Dallas Mavericks avoided the spurs that’s another reason why they got lucky. The spurs lost in the first round to the grizzlies. They were the #1 seed and had homecourt throughout whole playoffs.
Tru indeed that was the Spurs year but Memphis really took it to us. Memphis was a tough team getting started around that time. They actually forced us to get Kawhi.

Cavs toughest path was in the NBA Finals down 3-1 other than that they had one of the easiest paths to make the NBA Finals. They swept two rounds in East playoffs, and went undefeated at home until they made the NBA Finals. Had homecourt throughout the East playoffs 🤷♂️🏀🏆💯

Nothing can top the Rockets 95 season/playoffs..they faced elimination like what, 8 times? lol there is a reason why they were named 'CLUTCH CITY'... Every fucking night someone on the roster would step up and drop big numbers..nobody believed in them and they had so many doubters and haters and they were branded "CHOKE CITY"... but like any true heart of a champion, they never gave up.they never lost hope.they leaned on eachother in their darkest hour. they proved to everyone what they already knew.. They were Champions. NowThat was a fucking TEAM.
I know I've watched this a while ago but I have both players jerseys in the thumbnail, exactly hakeems jersey in that year, but dirks jersey rookie jersey, both my most prized possesions
I have to go with the 1994-95 Rockets: sure, they were defending champs, but they had to travel a brutal road in winning their second title. I also really like what the 2010-11 Mavericks did; what sticks out for me is not the Finals win, but the sweep of the Lakers, which, it turns out, also finished that franchise off for a while (a historically long time by Lakers standards).
the 2016 cavs was a free trip to the finals, Thet come back from 3-1 and thats it. I dont think its a top 10 toughest “ROAD” to being champs. the all stars he faced except for the warriors all-stars doesn’t even have a legit chance of being a hall of fame and i think this cavs team is a top 15 haredest road to champs. Personal opinion.
@@VincentVincent_89 true, but that's just the Nba Finals Cavs still swept 2 rounds went undefeated at home in East playoffs until game 4 Nba Finals had homecourt in East playoffs. Heat 2006 should be there instead of Lakers 2001.
The 1998 Bulls and the 2010 Lakers had tougher paths than the 2016 Cavaliers who were aided by the league office and questionable officiating and a key injury to the Warriors Bogut in game 5.
2010 lakers should be on the list Eliminated superstar KD(Led the league in scoring that time) Eliminated D.Williams,Boozer,Nash,Stoudamire,Rondo,Garnett,Allen and Pierce. And it took game 7 to beat the Celtics that time.
I think people forget, the mavs went through a great Portland team that everyone had listed as beating the Mavs that year. They swept the Defending back to back championship Lakers. The part that people tend to forget: they beat the Thunder who knocked off the spurs with KD, Westbrook, and James Harden. To finish it they beat the super team heat.
They did have a difficult road. Magic were an underrated 7th seed. Orlando went 22-9 after starting off 20-31 and won 10 straight home games and had the #1 ranked defense after the all star break to win 42 games. Sixers were a 3 seed with the 2nd most talented starting linuep with Simmons, Redick, Harris, Butler, and Embiid and they won 51 games. Then, they played a 60 win Bucks team that was crushing everybody and had MVP Giannis. Last, despite the Warriors injuries, everybody picked them over the Raps in the NBA Finals. Raps won game 1 despite Lowry and Kawhi's struggles. Then, they win game 4 after trailing by double digits in GS with Klay coming back. I know Klay was hurt but you still won a tough game 6 on the road with Kawhi not being at his best. Klay did play 5 out of 6 games. Warriors were favored when KD was out anyway. Raps were not 100% either, Lowry, Kawhi, Gasol, Spicy P, OG(who did not play in the playoffs because of his appendix issue), and etc... Both teams were hurt. Raps earned their ring and it was a tough road.
Gideon Amankwah agreed they say the warriors were hurt but so are the raptors klay dray and steph played most games too and is still a great team despite missing kd and klay for 2 games and the east were loaded at the time
Bad Boys beat the 42 win Celtics in 1st round, but Bird didn't play due to injury. Pippen wasn't an all-star yet in 89. Magic got hurt in Game 2 of finals, wasn't the same the rest of the series, Byron Scott also injured
-Kyrie and Kevin Love could have rested and Lebron handles those 3 teams by himself LMAO. It's God's honest truth. -I'm a Bulls fan but that 2002 Lakers should be better than the 1997 Bulls. We can't forget the 83 76ers (Fo, Fo, Fo)Your list is eerily similar to the Simple Rating System (SRS) that tracked the hardest NBA championships. Great stuff man.
Nah. Their path was hard but the finals was easy for them. Klay missed half the series, KD missed the whole series, Steph was only about 90% and Draymond regressed from an all star to a glorified role player.
For the record, that spurs team had their worst perimeter players in tim duncan history, Danny ferry Antonio daniels 37 year old terry porter So now you can imagine
Mavs and Rockets were the 2 unexpected Champs. Mavs road to championship was the hardest among all of these 10 teams. Magic was a great team and might had won if Nick just make 1 damn FT.
2011 dallas is #1, and I'm not even a Dallas fan. Nobody thought Dallas would win while Houston was the defending champ. Dallas eliminated okl,Lal and Mia. Dal #1 without a doubt. And 2016 Cavs don't deserve in top 10
I would've put Mavs as number one. I know Rockets played tougher teams. But don't forget that they are a great team as well. Olajuwon, Drexler, Sam Cassell, Kenny Smith, Robert Horry and an amazing head coach in Rudy T. They were still considered as a top contender to win that season. But Mavs only had one aging superstar in Dirk and old J, Kidd, old Jason Terry, old Marion and old Peja against some of the best. Especially the finals Lebron, Wade and Bosh with crazy good supporting cast. Nobody as in nobody taught Mavs had any chance.
@@inthepaint2907 not really zero help. More like mediocre. They still have big z and some good role players. But if you compare them to the pistons, they are horrible. I think Lebron could have stolen two games there in the finals if he maintaned his regular season stats of 31ppg. He only averaged 23 but he was double teamed so idk.
People will always have their opinion on who’s the goat, but for me ,my favourite player, the one who could do it all, class on and off the court, turned up when it really mattered was Dream,
There are so many flaws in this video starting with #10. First of all, GS first round matchup with Houston was weaker. Rockers were 500. ATL would’ve been the 5 seed in the west instead of the 4 in the East. The Blazers had the same record and lost both games to that same ATL team.
Why not the 08 Celtics ? First round Atlanta Hawks 7 games second round Cleveland Cavaliers 7 games conference finals Detroit Pistons 6 games NBA finals LA Lakers 6 games if you ask me that’s pretty tough to go back to back game seven series knowing that your opponent is waiting for you well rested on the other side.. also they had a 27 point come back in the finals..
Warriors had home court advantage in every round though facing a short handed Cavs team in the NBA Finals. Having homecourt is the best formula to win first title. Grizz were shorthanded. Rockets short handed Dubs went up 3-0 in that series in WCF
The 2016 Cavs had a really easy run to the title. They were the favorites in every series they played except for the finals were one can argue they had more talent but GSW were better coached. They got extremely lucky vs GSW.

As a Miami fan i remember yelling at my tv when i was a kid because the Mavs beat my heat, but as years passed by, Ive come to appreciate what a great run the 2011 Mavs made, the teams and players they went through that year was truly remarkable
Btw Kobe 3 straight final appearance whiteout Shaq he faced 11 50 win teams out of 12 possible the jazz had 48. I think it took LeBron 8 straight to match that. Not sure but could be wrong
2011 Dallas Mavericks! ❤️
WILSON!!! I had something important to do but I think I’ll watch this first.
I don't really know how this guy doesn't have 1 million of subscribers....I'm crazy about his content and his voice.
I say 2011 Mavs, just because of their team. You had Dirk, then ok-good role players. The rockets had Hakeem and Drexler, the best center and SG in the league that year along with ok-good role players. That 2011 run Dirk had was a freight train that wasn't stopping. He was looking like someone was controlling him on 2K.
2004 Pistons had a tougher road than the '16 Cavs if we're being honest.
facts boys had to take on kobe, shaq, malone, and gary payton in finals, that’s the greatest team ever on paper. would love if you checked our channel out boss, let us know what u like and don’t like

The 03 Spurs wouldn't have even made the Finals had Dirk not gone down in the WCF.
I'm surprised he didnt mention the 1975 warriors a team that had no expectations and was led by rick barry also role players, young jamal wikes that beat the sonics and bulls also a great wizards team with 4 hofers and good cast of players. Or what about 1978 bullets who upset the 1978 sixers a stacked team and beat the gervin spurs who were leading by 3-1 but bullets came back and game 7 was a close game. They beat the sonics in the finals
@@RC_Cubed u do realize the mavs beat the kings who were without webber in the semi finals that same year. So ur injury excuse is invalid
2019 raptors missing. They were trailing at he onset of all playoff rounds and ended up winning all of them including an nba first game 7 buzzer beater.
That doesn't make it tough though that just makes them resilient and they didn't beat a healthy warriors team so no they should not be on this list
@@isaiaharmand8841 Yes they should cuz the Bucks and Raps were tough matchups. KD & Klay didn't get hurt until late in the series anyway so I think their ring still means a lot
@@isaiaharmand8841 By your logic, the 2016 Cavs and 2010 Lakers don't count as their opponents had series changing injuries. Well, Cavs really shouldn't count as they only faced real challenge starting from ECF
@@suiken3149 I never said Toronto championship doesn't count I'm just saying due to circumstance their ring gets some points off in my opinion
95 rockets was tough and one of my fav teams
I wish the Heat and Cavs played against one another 2016 that could have been a 6-7 game series
Jazz Critic facts would’ve been a good series, but heat would’ve got clapped by the warriors if they somehow made it
@@inthepaint2907 Heat lost Bosh and Whiteside though. Cavs would have still won
Gregory Emeagwara I know that’s why i’m saying if they somehow made it
No 04 pistons?
kobi volkowitz facts having to take on that stacked lakers team especially
Kobe was a BEAST in 2009, RIP 💪🏾
Whats about Bob Pettit being the only one to win a title against Bill Russell?
This video shows why I think Hakeem is the 2nd best Center all time at worst. Think defensively it's even close, Kareem is the only player at the center position I think is better offensively as well. If he had gone against and beat Michael I'd have put him over KAJ. Is a very, very underrated player imo.
W
Dallas Mavericks avoided the spurs that’s another reason why they got lucky.
The spurs lost in the first round to the grizzlies. They were the #1 seed and had homecourt throughout whole playoffs.
Tru indeed that was the Spurs year but Memphis really took it to us. Memphis was a tough team getting started around that time. They actually forced us to get Kawhi.
@@christopherray6370 I mean it probably would have been a good series. Mavs always played spurs tough. But I think the spurs would have beaten them still.
Funny thing about the 2014 Spurs... I'm a spurs fan and the only playoff game I missed was the one where Vince Carter made that 3 at the end. I missed that game because I was Starbucks first meeting the Woman who is now my wife... Go Spurs Go!!
I wish they played the Heat that yr. dont get how that heat team lost to the craptors
Jazz Critic facts dwayne wade vs lebron would’ve been great
Jazz Critic check us out boss would love the support and to know what u think of our videos
yeah but the team they did face in finals is a top 3 team of all time, he should’ve made them a honorable mention instead of top 10 but still respect them in the list, check us out man would love your thoughts on our videos!

三宅円花 check ours out too! would love the support!!
I'm glad u recognized the 93 Bulls
Nothing can top the Rockets 95 season/playoffs..they faced elimination like what, 8 times? lol
there is a reason why they were named 'CLUTCH CITY'...
1995 Rockets > 1998 Bulls
I assume you only know mostly of modern nba right?
knicks fan we got past nba and modern, check us out and let us know what u wanna see
InThePaint I will thanks
no. we just remember the rockets slapped the shit out of your team in the 94 finals...thats all we need to know concerning your shit team.
Dirk made me fall in love with basketball 💙
I was in love with basketball before that, but The Mavs are my team, and that 2011 championship actually made me tear up.
2016 Cavs have no Business in this list whatsoever , 2004 Pistons should in this list
Outside of beating the Warriors, yeah they faced mostly trash in the East.
I know I've watched this a while ago but I have both players jerseys in the thumbnail, exactly hakeems jersey in that year, but dirks jersey rookie jersey, both my most prized possesions
So dope
Fair point.
He included it so that his subscribers that are Lebron fans will not be pissed.
Lol when your going against the most “winning” team in NBA history it ain’t a walk in the part, his comeback to that easily makes it top 10
@@VincentVincent_89 true, but that's just the Nba Finals Cavs still swept 2 rounds went undefeated at home in East playoffs until game 4 Nba Finals had homecourt in East playoffs. Heat 2006 should be there instead of Lakers 2001.
agreed about top 15 for sure
2016 cavs had the ref helping them in game 6
Nice 01 Lakers explanation and detail
Now do one in reverse. 10 teams with the toughest path to end up losing title
@Inigo Bantok The Warriors 2016 that's good it was really WCF and NBA Finals were toughest Celtics 2010 should be there. 1999 Knicks number 1.
96 Bulls run is so underrated
The 1998 Bulls and the 2010 Lakers had tougher paths than the 2016 Cavaliers who were aided by the league office and questionable officiating and a key injury to the Warriors Bogut in game 5.
Questionable officiating indeed
2010 lakers should be on the list
Eliminated superstar KD(Led the league in scoring that time)
Eliminated D.Williams,Boozer,Nash,Stoudamire,Rondo,Garnett,Allen and Pierce.
And it took game 7 to beat the Celtics that time.
2010 Lakers went undefeated at home in the West playoffs that year though. Swept Jazz in Semi. With homecourt advantage in every round
Great video for sure
Warriors went 16-1 in 2017. U said it would never happen again
If kg didn’t get injured the celtics would of went back to back
9:41 THATS CALLED MF BARS
Hakeems was the most impressive imo
Pranav Sattiraju idkkk hakeem has more help than dirk, i think mavs should’ve been number 1 on this list
InThePaint nope.end of story.goodbye.see u later.
@@inthepaint2907 the heck hakeem had no all star in 94 season then he just got clyde at the end of season 95
Dirk's was the most impressive
@@vicbonto6255 1994 they got to beat the weak ass Knicks who nearly lost to Chicago without Jordan and barely beat Indiana
The Spurs lost to the Grizzlies in 2011.
WHERE TF ARE THE 03 SPURS
THANK YOU!!! Should be #1 tbh
Jordan haters are surprised that the Bulls are on this list twice lol
The east was stacked during that era. Anyone who was old enough to watch the nba in the 90's is well aware of this.
5:17 did he just say chuck Hayes.... A 6'6 center gave my lakers problems?.... Oh nah I gotta watch highlights
Can't believe you didn't put the Miami Heat 2013. Had to get past both Pacers and Spurs but almost lost to them
2019 raptors should be on the list too
They did have a difficult road.
Gideon Amankwah agreed they say the warriors were hurt but so are the raptors klay dray and steph played most games too and is still a great team despite missing kd and klay for 2 games and the east were loaded at the time
Nothing about the bad boy pistons who beat Jordan, bird and magic?
Bad Boys beat the 42 win Celtics in 1st round, but Bird didn't play due to injury. Pippen wasn't an all-star yet in 89. Magic got hurt in Game 2 of finals, wasn't the same the rest of the series, Byron Scott also injured
2016 Cavs doesn't belong in the list because of its the Leastern Conference.
Damn great vid!
2019 Raptors should be on this list or an honorable mention
Took out Joel and jimmy and Ben, then Greek freak, then the warriors. Only lebron and raps have beat this golden state team in finals
They beat a injured warriors team so nah
Nah. Their path was hard but the finals was easy for them. Klay missed half the series, KD missed the whole series, Steph was only about 90% and Draymond regressed from an all star to a glorified role player.
Eh. It was alright but nowhere near as Legendary as the Mavs run because most of the opponents and their stars were healthy
@@dvon1097 Klay only missed game 3. He played 5 out of 6 games and the Warriors were favored anyway.
Why do u still use 720p?
For mavs should been at 1(2011)
Rockets @2 (95)
Pistons @3 (04)
2004 Pistons SUCK!
Its hard to imagine a prime spurs team getting swept..only shaq and kobe
For the record, that spurs team had their worst perimeter players in tim duncan history,
Danny ferry
Antonio daniels
37 year old terry porter
So now you can imagine
@@genermanaloto6509 That same spurs team won the year after
Hakeem never got to face MJ in the postseason but at least he swept the only team to beat him in a playoff series post-championships.
Mavs and Rockets were the 2 unexpected Champs. Mavs road to championship was the hardest among all of these 10 teams.
Magic was a great team and might had won if Nick just make 1 damn FT.
How about the 88 Lakers? They had to go seven games vs Malone & Stockton’s Jazz, seven against the Mavs, and seven against the Bad Boy Pistons!!
Great video
2011 dallas is #1, and I'm not even a Dallas fan. Nobody thought Dallas would win while Houston was the defending champ. Dallas eliminated okl,Lal and Mia. Dal #1 without a doubt. And 2016 Cavs don't deserve in top 10
2016 cavs still deserve it more than 93 bulls
@@TheDesisgarf 2016 east competition was weak except finals
What about 2019 raptors? 2006, 2012 & 2013 miami heat? 2004 detroit pistons?
95' HOUSTON and 11' DALLAS
Dirk>Lechoke 3-6
Lakers Deserve Better
You got the list right
NEXT VIDEO 10 TEAMS WITH THE EASIEST PATH IN WINNING THE NBA TITLE
2016 Cavs imo. The 3 rounds are garbage.
But the most dominant is the 01 Lakers. Swept the first three rounds.
That's Warriors 2017 and 2018 for sure. 2007 Spurs there's at least 3
love that video idea, maybe we’ll do it :), check us out and let us know if u wanna see anything on our channel
Gregory Emeagwara The 2007 cavs should be in this video man was only 23 and had zero help
People will always have their opinion on who’s the goat, but for me ,my favourite player, the one who could do it all, class on and off the court, turned up when it really mattered was Dream,
Definitely disagree with no. 10, the East was beyond pitiful and cLe got every break imaginable in the Finals
There are so many flaws in this video starting with #10. First of all, GS first round matchup with Houston was weaker. Rockers were 500. ATL would’ve been the 5 seed in the west instead of the 4 in the East. The Blazers had the same record and lost both games to that same ATL team.
Note to poster: basketball existed before you. There is even video and stats for them.
The 2002 Nets would have absolutely beaten Sacramento in the finals.
They would’ve matched up way better than they ultimately did with the Lakers but nah... Kings would’ve won.
Agree
In 2015 Stephen Curry beat all 4 of the other 1st team all NBA players
Warriors had home court advantage in every round though facing a short handed Cavs team in the NBA Finals. Having homecourt is the best formula to win first title. Grizz were shorthanded. Rockets short handed Dubs went up 3-0 in that series in WCF
Gregory Emeagwara injures are apart of the game unfortunately . Not like the warriors were super stacked anyways
How can you leave out the 89,90 Pistons tearing down an aging boston and young MJ Pippen.
The all stars are for that season right cause the hawks still has Kyle . And warriors had iggy oh it is lol
2002 being on this list isn’t fair. The kings were robbed by the refs, and I’m a laker fan.
Wildly inconsistent with which sub 50 win teams he considered as legitimate threats
The 2016 Cavs had a really easy run to the title. They were the favorites in every series they played except for the finals were one can argue they had more talent but GSW were better coached. They got extremely lucky vs GSW.
2016 OKC would be number 1 if they didnt choke.
the 4 best center's are easy KAJ, Shaq, Wilt, and the Dream. Who do you think the 5th is to make a top 5 a lot of really good centers all fairly close together my vote is Moses Malone but Bill Russell or George Mikan are definitely in the conversation
Only reason I say Dirk over Dream is because Jordan wasn’t playing. All the best players played when Dirk won.
Jordan was playing that year, bulls lost to magic in semi finals
Birdy Scott ehh now we know that season wasnt to legit. But I can’t argue facts still have Dirk, Kobe was legit defending champ(full season)
Jordan did play in 1995 it's not dream fault Jordan retired, and came back in the middle of his career.
Dirk had a better team than the Dream did
I would have had 94 Rockets on there as well
