The primary benefit - and the reason I always install it first - is that it is used by a lot of other add ins and programmes to interface with the simulator, you only need the free version for that. The primary benefits of the paid version are i) the WideFS interface if you run apps and programmes across the network from a second PC this is invaluable and really straight forward to use ii) more configuration options for axis controls buttons etc [I do not use that much, simply for adding the odd button say to the throttle quadrant for VR etc] iii) For the more adventurous massive powerful programming options for multiple buttons and keys - again I have only scratched the surface but I use it for example to send the button over the network for ATC push to talk using the ‘Keysend’ functionality. like most add ones they may not be for everyone and the best thing is to look at what value it adds for you and decide if it is useful - for me my recommendation is that FSUIPC if like the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of add ons 🧐…
i have one question please. I am installing fs2020 into a new computer. I already bought Fsuipc4 some years ago on simMarket. What do i need to do now? Buy the new version? or redownload the one i already have? thank u
Apologies for the delay responding, there is now a new version out - FSUIPC7- you need to buy as it is not an upgrade to an existing version; and it is about £18 UK and you can order it from SimMarket.
How does I use the function of the Buttons & Switches to set a key on joystick to active 2 bottoms at the same time? For example: when I fly FSL A321, I can use FSUIPC to set a button to turn off the PF's FD and set another button to turn off the PM's FD. So, but what I want is that when I press a button, PF and PM's FD will be turned off or on at the same time.

@@simplysimulator Thank you very much. If I want to use the Axis Assignment function to set a rotate knob on my Saitek X56, it can control the Radio Outer Rotate of the FSL A320, but it is not set in the default, so how can I set it It's like Bottoms&Switches can to be created new Macro.

Have you used FSUIPC-7 (registered) with the new MSFS2020 yet? I'm trying to find info or video on it being used to control / calibrate devices. More specifically, I already know how to use it with Prepar3D, but don't know where it would be located in the new sim since the layout is so different. There's not any in-flight drop down menu like Prepar3D has where you access the utility via the AddOns menu like you show here (and like what I know).
