Okay mistake happens (understandable for maggie but for a group they judge you as a goverment or judge you setensed to ve prisoned in a cell for the rest of your lige and that is worse than a normal prison in real life because you alone no prisoners beside you and you can't go in open spaces like yard or a cafteira and he lived like that for years but understandable because they don't have afford that) then gabe forget to lock his cell he breaks out then he returend to his cell and didn't try to avenge or harm anyone , and still they badmouthing him and tells him he only came back because he found nothing , like okay if someone lost everything doesn't that makes him dangerous and tries to take down everyone with him ? Still he didn't do it , then michone gets angry at him because judith talks to him and she says you didn't say what you did to glenn and abe because you try to look better in her eyes , then he says he told her but she gets angry at him more like what i was suppose to do (undertandable for michone but as a group they still treat him bad no matter what he do)
And tells him he doing a bad job at changing who he is i mean what do you want him to do , still they let him out after he saved judith which is good , goes a mission with aron which is a bad call and he treats him like crap and still saved him , then they lock him when he by accident killed a woman because he tried to save a kid from her and her friends understanable but the one who voted against him was because of their grudge not because the situation and that isn't fair but still daryl and teh other voted for his favor which is good and they tied , carol set him free on the condition to kill alpha and he did still she walked away and he was most likely hunted by the group and the whispers , he made out alive by luck and he had the chance to kill daryl because they still treat him unfairly , but he didn't and after that he he was a major reason for beta's death , then maggie comes late and still holding a grudge against him , okay no problem but how it played out in the negan episode was unfair , i mean carol tried her best to not let them has a chance for confortation by kicking him out which is good act by carol and she tried to smooth things before but still isn't good as a group because negan earned his place , and when he came back they were on herside and that she will kill him ( carol was like i did my best so your death won't be on me and daryl for sure will side with maggie and negan no one has his back and they still sees him like the bad guy ) so the problem with negan is more likely is the whole group problem and how are they acting as a group , maybe if rick was there he will put things on place , for maggie to hate negan is no problem but she tries to revenge and no one is stoping her because he deserve it ? Like wasn't this because how he puts people under his boots ? And they didn't kill him but let him suffer and they let him out because they needed him and he get along with their order and rules and prove himself is useful and that he changed more than once and still treat him poorly and when some of them try to kill him and they are like you deserve it , plus doesn't they realize they push him to be worse than he was before ?
If they excuted him in first or they were clear with him that this new order we will bring is no other than a sweet lie we lie to ourselfs and this you are in is about revenge and make you suffer as much as possible and no matter what you do that will not change .
But this sweet talk and when ot comes to actions you demonize him so you can do whatever you want to him and you will still look like the good guys and he is pure evil .
How could you expect Maggie to forgive a man who brutally murdered her husband right in front of her while she was pregnant?!

Maggie does not have to forgive Negan guys.... He killed her husband. The father of her child. Whether she wants to forgive him or not is her choice and she has that right. Yes, Rick & Co killed some of his people (we all know that obv) but that doesn't just erase Maggie's feelings of her husband being murdered. That was her person no matter what they did. Now, it'll be interesting to see if she does forgive him or not. I'm not sure if she will. I can only see either Negan leaving or Maggie leaving

But he chose to only kill one person, and darly acted out of character and is solely responsible for Glenn's death...he should be blamed and hated the way negan is in my opinion..not to mention later in that season Daryl jeopardize the plan to stop the saviors by being impatience..he really has been more of a liability than anything and that frustrates me because people seem to ignore this just because he's a fan favorite character.

Maggie is lucky that she and her child are ALIVE at ALL. Negan was a stand up guy for only taking 2 people after they killed 50. Not only did Negan kill Glenn but they were on the way to a doctor because she almost lost her baby, too. He brutally killed the love of her life, her best friends, took Daryl and tortured him, and almost killed her and her baby all at the same time. There's no forgiveness there, EVER! He will have to save her son at some point for her to even consider forgiving him. I'm sure that's how this will play out, if it ever does.

I really can’t understand people who expect Maggie to forgive Negan like...he killed her husband so brutally in front of her and laughed while doing it when she was pregnant with Glenn’s child. Negan might’ve changed but no matter how good Negan becomes, Maggie has every right to hate him and never forgive him. I get people love Negan for his personality and shit but he was an asshole and what he took away from Maggie and her son isn’t something you can just get over with.
Maggie does not owe nor need to forgive him, he took something that was too close to Maggie's heart. She deserves to be mad that he is out and alive its no ones place to expect her or to say any different. He could've been a good leader had he been in a clear sound of mind, and it is fair to say he is changing but he still has a ways to go and prove. This is Maggie's home he is a guest here remember that she is allowed to leave and come back just as any other character like Morgan, Rick and Michonne etc. She left because she wanted to be a good mother without the reminder of Negan. She deserves to heal/cope and to find happiness and she does that through helping people as the show has shown countless times. We also have to remember almost all of Maggie's family members were murdered right in front of her when she was completely helpless. She also lost a lot of close people to the Whisperers Jesus, Tara and Enid the show has made it clear how she had a special one on one relationship with each of those characters. And not to mention now Hilltop is gone due to the help of Negan, Hershel was born there and that is Glenn's final resting place and it has been destroyed and disrespected. So let's give Maggie some credit she is a badass who has put up with a lot and has been here fighting for these people at her worst she deserves the respect and space from Negan for however long she chooses.

Who cares about the new enemy. The violation and pain Negan put them through can never be forgiven. Y'all seem to forget what Negan did because he's "funny" but I dare you to rewatch the Saviour Line-up episode and keep that same energy. Because that's probably what is replaying in Maggies head everyday. So if she wants to kill Negan, she 100% has the right to.

I'll be surprised if Maggie won't at least be as lenient of Neegan as everyone else is, especially since it was Carl and Rick's wish, and he's actually done really good since being there. Rob is right; Neegan's wrong doings toward her were during war, and now the war is over. It's not like Maggie is any worse than he is; I remember her killing a prisoner to make a point of her resolve as well. The only differences are that Neegan did it with a lot more style and personality for the intimidation factor, and he actually explained how he wished he didn't have to do those things (showed some remorse).

Maggie can never ever forgive negan, they may live there together but what negan did isnt something that can be forgiven
I like Negan. He’s shown that he isn’t just the cruel, brutal person who violently murdered Glenn and Abraham. He has a lot more to him, there’s a genuinely caring person in him, it’s just been hidden and pushed away for a long time. He cares about the group, enough to put himself into a potentially fatal situation.
However, the way Maggie feels, the way she is, is completely understandable, and rational. Someone’s spouse being murdered would make them want to kill them. But watching them be murdered, especially in the cruel barbaric way Glenn was, being in a totally helpless place, not able to do anything but watch? That would instantly change a person. The pure hatred you would feel is indescribable,
If at some point Maggie forgives Negan that wouldn’t necessarily be bad or unrealistic. Forgiving someone and becoming friends with them are two very different things. Yeah mothers and fathers have forgiven their kids killers but they typically don’t become friends. They ain’t meeting up at Starbucks for coffee ☕️

The best thing about this episode is how Maggie’s whole“leaving and coming back” story directly reflects that of the actress who plays her. Lauren left TWD for another show called Whiskey Cavalier, Maggie leaves our people to join another community. Whiskey Cavalier fails and gets cancelled, Maggie’s new community gets destroyed. Lauren comes crawling back to TWD, and Maggie comes crawling back to group that shaped her into the person she is now. Lol how ironic.

The issue i have with Maggie isnt her unwillingness to forgive Negan. That's 1000% understandable. But her thinking he is somehow worse than her for the murder is asinine. Her and her group are the same. She forgot how the people of Alexandria saw them. She forgot how they acted towards the Saviors before the Saviors knew they existed. They started a war with the Saviors killing their people for a chance at hilltop supplies. They murdered men in their sleep for the chance to have a trade route basically. Then they were surprised when their actions had consequences. I quit watching the show for a few years after Glenn and Abe died. But after getting back into hearing it's ending after season 11, this shit doesnt make sense. Like if we had followed Negan and the Saviors the same way we did rick and the crew from the beginning. We would see Rick and co. as brutal assholes who killed what possibly could've been a few named and main cast members. Its the same shit. Only difference is we were seeing it through the eyesof Rick and company.

They only stabbed 3 guys in their sleep lol, the rest of the Saviors killed in that outpost were awake and taken out Trojan Horse style. Plus they only did that after the Saviors beefed with them first, for the first time in 6x09
