NOTE: One thing I forgot to mention is that accessible does have an audit tool located in your portal, it's a great tool to make sure you comply with ADA, WCAG, and other guidelines regarding disabilities.
Making sure your website complies with visitors with disabilities is important. It helps users with all disabilities have a safe and pleasant browsing experience while they surf the web. Pass it on, and make sure your website is accessible to all users!

This is such a big problem especially when people think they’re making everything accessible, and actual fact they are not, and worse companies are profiting from it.
It seems like you have never left the law firm Darrel and as always your tutorials are very educational and very easy to digest. This skills (I believe strongly) isn’t given to everyone it’s gift and talent
#accessibewillgetyousued do some research, Accessibe does not solve problems, it just hides them. Overlays like userway and accessibe should not be used. Please do some research and design accessible content from the start of your website. The WCAG isn’t hard to implement.
Ask any accessibility pro or someone with disabilities and they’ll tell you how bad accessibe is.
The cost is also not that great 🧐

I am a blind user, and this company doesn’t make websites accessible to visually impaired visitors.
Saying this, I know they are communicating with blind users currently to change this.
Until then, I wouldn’t recommend them

I'm a web accessibility developer and I can tell you with certainty that a plugin DOES NOT make a website accessible. In order to make a website truly accessible it must be made accessible from the development stage. Only then will be WCAG compliant. These plugins give people a false idea about accessibility. Take this video down mate!!!
I think the idea of the plugin is to analyze the website for us and suggest the changes need to be done. The plugin doesn't magically fix everything.
@@pranoykr Not at all mate, it makes people believe you can make a website accessible by merely installing a plugin, I've seen people at work thinking that.

You are supposed to place the code "before the ending of the body tag". Not before the body tag.
why is it not free if its something thats necessary .. we don't charge a continuous fee to use a ramp after paying for it to be built

Is there a reason why you put the code between the head and the body tags instead of right before the closing tag?
Really wanting to purchase this for my client but the pricing is steep. And I believe they don't have a pricing for small websites that has only have 10-30 pages.
You can always add it as an option add-on for your clients it’s really up to them. I would put in your digital contract that you at least offer the service to protect yourself
My competitors are offering a lifetime solution of $700 versus the $49 a month for accessibee.
@@darrelwilson but a lot of these companies don’t make it accessible for people who are actually disabled they are ripping people off and making things harder.
Would this be something that you recommend as part of your maintenance package as a web designer when presenting proposals to clients? You did not really go into the business side of implementing this service.
Initial set up fee, then maintenance fee. My opinion.

accessabe is NOT accessible. Please do not use it. it creates an overlay but screen readers read the metadata and therefore it is ineffective. Please look into the updated information. Thanks for doing this kind of video though, awareness is important!

Adding an "accessibility" plugin is NOT a substitute for building accessibility into your website. Google WCAG 2.1 success Criteria to make sure you are making your site accessible.
