  • We're going ALL THE WAY BACK to 2015 when we first started the podcast and this YT Channel! Check out some of our very first reviews that we made! These have all been modified slightly to make them more watchable these days, along with normalized audio so that each video doesn't blow your speakers out.
Fun Fact: Nosferatu is actually probably more terrible than I made it out to be in the review.
    Reviews in this video:
    Nosferatu (SNES)
    Journey To SIlius (NES)
    Totally Rad (NES)
    Ninja Gaiden (NES)

Ninja Gaiden is one of the most important game for me as someone who was born in the 80's I remember going to the video rental store with my mom in 1989, 1990, 1991 and be so excited for new Gaiden game. I can easily slash through stage 1 to stage 6. But I turn the off my console after killing Malth... stage 6 is a nightmare

I do that with several NES games. I can get through a majority of the stages with one life but then I just hit that one stage that is gonna kick my ass and turn it off. but yeah ninja gaiden is an all-timer to me

I just found your Podcast three months ago and have been binging on them on my daily work drive. I'm really enjoying them, and I hope you guys keep making videos. I'd also love to see you guys do a multiplayer video together.

Ninja Gaiden is one of my favorite NES games. One thing you didn't mention is how great the music is.

Great video. Ninja Gaiden is an all timer - I live in the UK where NES wasn’t popular so never knew about this at the time. I played a ropy Amiga conversion of the arcade. First fell in love with the series with Ninja Gaiden 04 on Xbox and then unlocked this in game. The OG on NES was nearly as fun as the Xbox masterpiece I’d just completed.

It's interesting how ninja gaiden has kind of fallen out of favor when people talk about the all time best NES games these days. To me it's still top 5. It definitely has its issues but it just feels so good to play

The only truly difficult part of Ninja Gaiden is Act 6 and the final 3-boss fight (particularly the fact it sends you all the way back to 6-1 every time you fail to beat one of the final 3 bosses). The rest of the game is mostly fair and marginal in its difficulty.

Got to play all these games on the list. Have my own complaints about them but atill made for great games.....except for Nosferaru. THAT GAME SUCKS!
Totally Rad was fun but the fact you can only shoot in 1 direction could make for some frustration & also no magic refill drops sucks too. Nosferatu was bad just because the combat was wonky, cant stand the prince of persia style precise movement, & you die pretty fast. Journey to Silius is a classic just like Ninja Gaiden. I dont have anything bad to say about them (Yes theyre both hard games but you get unlimited continues) & theyre also availble on the Switch.

I appreciate what they tried to do with Nosferatu but it just didn't come together very well. Especially the combat
