I find it interesting hiw different the 2 versions are, If you play as Aether Lumine sounds angry, determined, but if you play as Lumine Aether sounds almost... sad to have this be their reunion, he speaks so much calmer than Lumine. Crazy how voice acting can change the entire atmosphere of the scene, even if what is said is the same

I love playing as Lumine and the great thing about this chapter was that it didn’t make the other sibling out to be a bad guy now. Everybody is sad, and that last line, “We have always had enough time.” Was so melancholy and yet so beautiful. It honestly brings tears to my eyes.
I hope when aether’s journey is over, we will be able to play lumine’s flashback story 500 years ago. How she met dain, how teyvat was like when she woke up. Im sure it was a hell of a journey too!

It's not weird, it's playing safe. It's her brother after all and it would make sense to call him Aether. Remember, our name that we typed is just a nickname and Aether/Lumine is our real name and our twin would know that and not the name we are telling people.

Lore/story based Aether is actually OP like 500 years of experience fighting gods from another world but doesn't match with his gameplay. . .hope the anime finally shows what he is capable of

The looks on his eyes, the feeling of happiness because after searching for her the whole time he finally found her sister, and the feeling of confusion at the same time because he couldn't understand what's going on with his sister, and lastly the pain because they may have enough time to meet in the future but not enough time just to say goodbye or at least hug her. Man this breaks my heart.
He just felt so crushed after his sister abandoned him. I felt so bad for him and I've been a Traveler main since the beginning. This was no way to have a happy reunion, not by a longshot. 😢

FUN FACT: Kaeya is a descendant of Khaenri'ah. In the 1.4 Windblume event quest, he wrote a love poem "Mi muhe yo" to Venti which means "I love you" in Hilichurl language. But, in Khaenri'ah language, "Mi muhe yo" actually means "I will triumph over you". This means Kaeya was sending a death threat to Venti. Judging from Venti's reaction, he understood what Kaeya meant.

Another one: No matter what name you chose for Traveler, their twin will always use their actual name. Why does it matter - Traveler has been using the fake name the whole time and while Dain might've known Traveler's real name, Paimon didn't. Xiao was enslaved by a God who trapped him through his true name and we keep getting hints Paimon might betray Traveler in the future.

Yea, the foreshadowing in the previous archon quests is insane. In Mondstadt's story arc, Venti only cared about saving his old friend, Dvalin from Abyss Order. He actually never cared about eliminating the Abyss Order unlike the Knights of Favonius and Diluc. In Liyue's story arc, Zhongli voluntarily gave up his gnosis to Tsaritsa and proclaimed that the age of gods is over after witnessing what his people were truly capable of. It seems like both Venti and Zhongli were truly involved in Khaenri'ah destruction. They were so guilty of their own actions to the point where they have decided to entrust humans to rule their nations. Damn, future conversations with Venti and Zhongli are going to be awkward af lol.
Yep, she has it all, cold, distant, resolute, warmth, reassurance all the emotions in a couple lines. And from the opening scene with the unknown goddess, the way she uttered "Wait, give my brother back" had this tone of desperation no other VAs had in all the other dub languages.
I chose Lumine and played the game in Japanese. Personally, when I heard the voice lines on the menu I think her voice in English was the only one that I enjoyed more than in Japanese, I feel it adds a lot of personality to it🥰
Hear my theory: The abyss twin is possessed. I am not sure about you, but in this clip lumine sounds like she has two personalities, battling with each other. And I think that is the case she had been possessed by some Kongreah spirits that take over her body, but she’s battling them to try to talk to Aether. My theory is that at the end of HER journey she has gained all seven elements, and unlocked her ultimate power, but she was then defeated by the abyss and kidnapped. Then they drained her of her ultimate power. Or they corrupted her so that she and the leader of the abyss became one, and use her power for them And the abyss is currently trying to get Aether goes through the exact same journeys through the seven nations to gain all the element as well so they can get Aether ultimate power as well, and then be able to get enough power to defeat the heavenly principle I also think, maybe, Dainsleif was once travelling companions of our twin as well, and that was Dainsleifs mission after failing his nation- to make sure our twin to go through the nations, like paimon right now. But during the journey, Dainsleif grew attached to our twin and does not want to hand them to the abyss anymore, and tried to betray the abyss and free them (he was obviously hopeless about kongreah getting back anyway) (and I use them/they) And this was why the abyss, and the new soul in our abyss twin, is so in spite of Dainsleif because he not only failed the nation, but also had attempted to betray to save our twin This is also why, in Dainsleif trailer, he said he hope we were more equipted to saving the twin. Because he also failed the twin in attempt to save them. And also why in the traveller trailer our twin said we couldn’t reunite just yet: because they were possessed and had to finish their mission by the abyss soul before breaking free and able to go with us And also why, according to nahida, our twin disappeared at Sneznaya because they got kidnapped. As for why our twin was not a decender, two possibilities: one, because the abyss had manipulated the Irmensol as well to make our twin forever the Abyss property- OR nahida meant the existence of that soul in her body is always in this world- maybe the soul was even a clone of our twin! And that made it seem like the abyss twin was from the world, I mostly want to go with the direction that Irmensol was manipulated. I think they did it to manipulate our twin into believing that had always been a property of the abyss. Maybe that was a step done to corrupt them, to make them listen and be obedient, while that soul use their power. Maybe that didn’t work because she was a decender, however her data in the Irmensol was already changed because of that But this meant that they were now totally under the possession of the abyss and the abyss had drained enough personal data out of her to change her data in the Irmensol
So I think the story goes like this: Lumine woke up much prior to her brother. After traveling with Dainsleif as her companion around teyvat she learned the truth about the gods, their wars, and pain they caused to the land. she founded Khaenri'ah, a nation without a god that would unite all people under one nation without being under the mercy of any god good or wicked, and became its princess. She led them and shared her wide knowledge from the worlds she has been already to create mass production of progressed weapons. the nation threatened the gods and the natural order. so the gods (or a certain god) punished them as in the storyline. Lumine was on a run, she woke up aether in the midst of the overrun by the gods, so they could escape to another world. The 'unknown god' caught them and that's why she said "the arrogation of mankind ends here". I believe Lumine tried to create this ideal world she wants for her and her brother and that's why she traveled world after world with him until she succeeds. That's until the unknown god had enough.
hmmm i agree mostly except about the twin's purpose to find or create an ideal world, I just cant imagine that, cuz u know, we dont even know who the twins are really and I bet their purpose was at least before, not destructive at all
This completely fits with what i think happened, but I think the twins getting blocked by the unknown god was before the traveler woke up and the khaenri'ah stuff the abyss twin went through. When traveler tells the story to paimon traveler mentions that their powers were taken away and they had gotten separated from their sibling. I mean Lumine definitely went for revenge after Khaenri'ah was destroyed, she wouldn't attempt to flee that world
@@chael.9662 Khaenri'ah created an army of advanced machines. all the ruin guards you encountered and even the enormous ones in Sumeru, even Scaramouche and Raiden Shogun puppets (machines) were created based on Khaenri'ah's technology, and they both wield elemental energy without Celestia's gods bestowing visions upon them. you can see why they've become a threat to the natural order.
@@AJ-jy6jq Actually no. Based on dialogue not everyone has a wind glider license. Dialogue from the windblume festival hints this with the knights tunring the other way during the festivities. If anything, it only makes sense for Amber because she glides in places that are restricted for gliding. Got a feeling most of the city in lore is gliding restricted. Amber flies around a lot but she also loses her glidong license alot.

To think I kinda predicted that this would happen ( not specifically, like the whole abyss stuff ). Since most sibling or someone close to the character you play as, joins the opposite side your in ( either it's because of brainwashing or being controlled )
I like how everyone calls the traveler by his nickname given by players but lumine and aether still call them by their actual names Edit: low key the traveler's twin probaly don't give a shit about our nickname we gave while everyone in teyvat does. That is most likely the thing, the god who seperated aether and lumine has to be the god of time, sealing the other sibling in a copy of the world and changing the pasts and futures of every event making it seem that our side is the bad side and their side the good side for the other sibling
I just realized something, when the twins were separated in the beginning doesn't that mean either one or a few things. Either: 1) they were both sent back more then 500 years into the past but only one of them was awake the entire time while the other was hidden away asleep, 2) one was sent to the past while the other was sent to the future, or 3) they were both traveling during the whole Khaenri'ah event not getting involved but when they were separated one was either put to sleep or sent to the future while the other was stuck in the current time looking for the other and helping during the event, the same way the player character is helping while looking for their sibling. Also why were they stuck in the world at all? They were leaving the world in the first place, was that god that stuck them there even a god from that world or one from the world they were going to or one from a world they went to before that was looking for them? The god that stuck them there doesn't even LOOK like one from this world.

I play as Lumine(chosen twin) and it's so cool to see that Lumine's(not the chosen twin) english VA says the lines with such a fierce tone for Aether(chosen twin), while Aether's(not the chosen twin) english VA looks sad and worried while talking to the Lumine(chosen twin)
Probably in the endgame. If you have seen the story trailer which shows the key characters for each nation,Dans appears at last so it will probably take 3-4 years for him to be playable.
Theory time!!! So, from what I gathered, while Lumine seems to despite Dainslef, he on the other hand only reacted sadly, anguished to this (this can be seen by his sad "Lumine..." line). I guess that whatever war happen 500 years ago while Lumine was trying to help the people, maybe Dainslef stood on the sideline. Remember, from the game trailer months ago, we saw Lumine desperately running through a place engulfed in fire and destruction (I guess it was Khaen'riah) but see no sign of others helping her. Whether because they all died or some other reason I'm not sure but seeing that Dain is still alive, I guess they decide to let Destiny runs its course. The cause of the war might be because the other Archons envy? Angry? at how Khaen'riah still flourishes without the intervene of the Gods. We did know one of the reasons why Khaen'riah falls was because of how advanced it was. Maybe Khaen'riah was getting a bit too prideful because of that so they made the Archons angry? I guess that Lumine at that time had finished her journey and decide to stay at Khaen'riah due to how advance it was, which would surely help her find her brother (assuming she was like Aether, hoping to find each other so they can be reunited again). Maybe that was when the Archons attacked and Lumine, who just like her brother jumps in to help Mondstatd, decide to help the Khaen'riah people. However, she might have come too late and all the people were turned into a twisted version of themself ( hilichurls, abyss mages, abyss herald). Angry at how the Royal Guards failed at protecting the people, she might have agreed to join the abyss to get revenge. The Cryo Archons, 500 years later, might felt guilty about the destruction of Khaen'riah so she set out to retrieve the power from other Archons so she could fix the people back. Or she might have a more sinister plan (though I'm leaning more toward the first, seeing that the characters describe her as soft-hearted. Also the description of the Cryo ascension stone was quite literally said "sorry"). Dwelling more on Dainslef and Lumine's relationship, I guess that he was her travelling partner when she came into this world much like our relationship with Paimon. Maybe they meet at Mondstadt and he agreed to guide her through this world (he could be on a mission and she simply tags along) or Lumine wakes up in Khaen'riah itself. Whatever the circumstances, they seem to become closer through the journey. That might be the reason why Lumine hate him so much now. It hurts a lot more when the person whom you hold close to betraying you (intentional or not). But Dainslef, however, might still believe that he can get his old travel partner back by taking down the abyss. So TL:DR Lumine and Dainslef used to travel together until the Khaen'riah war happens, which Lumine blame Dainslef for (partly or wholely) and they no longer travel together. The war might be caused by the Archons because of how good Khaen'riah is despite not having a God. And the whole Fatui collecting Gnosis deal might be because the Cryo Archon want to correct their old mistake. Sorry if this is too long, it's my first time doing theory like this. I have a theory about Tsaritsa. Zhongli said the new Dendro archon is only 500 years old, that's the same time when Khaenriah was destroyed. It's also implied that the new archon is basically stupid and also Sumeru somehow became a desert in that time. The Dendro archon is meant to be the god of wisdom, so my theory is I think the old Dendro archon became too wise and "woke" and tried to help Khaenriah, and in return he was killed and replaced with the newer archon. It could also be possible that the Tsaritsa (god of love) was in love with the old Dendro archon and became cold and distant after he was killed, secretly plotting to get revenge and take down the gods and Celestia when she realised how flawed the system is.
One interesting theory I saw somewhere about the Tsarita is that they might be collecting the gnosis either to get stronger to go against celestia (which was kinda hinted on trailer) or they are collecting it to see who among the seven archon is a false god because their gnosis are made in likeness of a chess piece, so among the seven there might be one who either does not have a gnosis or have a completely different looking gnosis from the others. Other theory is it can be that getting all chess pieces is a way to unlock celestia and meet with the higher ups and have a chance to battle against them, take over their power and rework the world of tevyat as they see fit (wether for the better or worse, we dont know yet)
I still think Lumine is used as a pawn without her knowing or he action will bring even worse consequences, wouldn't be surprised if that was the twist.
I just realized this is the first time we hear they say their true name instead of the name we gave to them when we play as Aether or Lumine. Others pretty much call them "Traveler" or the nickname we gave to them. Which could also mean we never trusted this world to begin with, that's why we introduced ourselves with the nickname.

I find it interesting hiw different the 2 versions are, If you play as Aether Lumine sounds angry, determined, but if you play as Lumine Aether sounds almost... sad to have this be their reunion, he speaks so much calmer than Lumine. Crazy how voice acting can change the entire atmosphere of the scene, even if what is said is the same

I love playing as Lumine and the great thing about this chapter was that it didn’t make the other sibling out to be a bad guy now. Everybody is sad, and that last line, “We have always had enough time.” Was so melancholy and yet so beautiful. It honestly brings tears to my eyes.
This is such an emotional moment, Lumine spent her primogem to get 5 star abyss helard only to get beaten by aether's 1 star dull blade :(

The looks on his eyes, the feeling of happiness because after searching for her the whole time he finally found her sister, and the feeling of confusion at the same time because he couldn't understand what's going on with his sister, and lastly the pain because they may have enough time to meet in the future but not enough time just to say goodbye or at least hug her. FUN FACT: Kaeya is a descendant of Khaenri'ah. In the 1.4 Windblume event quest, he wrote a love poem "Mi muhe yo" to Venti which means "I love you" in Hilichurl language. But, in Khaenri'ah language, "Mi muhe yo" actually means "I will triumph over you". This means Kaeya was sending a death threat to Venti. Judging from Venti's reaction, he understood what Kaeya meant.

Another one: No matter what name you chose for Traveler, their twin will always use their actual name. Why does it matter - Traveler has been using the fake name the whole time and while Dain might've known Traveler's real name, Paimon didn't. Xiao was enslaved by a God who trapped him through his true name and we keep getting hints Paimon might betray Traveler in the future.

Yea, the foreshadowing in the previous archon quests is insane. In Mondstadt's story arc, Venti only cared about saving his old friend, Dvalin from Abyss Order. He actually never cared about eliminating the Abyss Order unlike the Knights of Favonius and Diluc.
In Liyue's story arc, Zhongli voluntarily gave up his gnosis to Tsaritsa and proclaimed that the age of gods is over after witnessing what his people were truly capable of.
It seems like both Venti and Zhongli were truly involved in Khaenri'ah destruction. They were so guilty of their own actions to the point where they have decided to entrust humans to rule their nations. Damn, future conversations with Venti and Zhongli are going to be awkward af lol.

Yep, she has it all, cold, distant, resolute, warmth, reassurance all the emotions in a couple lines. And from the opening scene with the unknown goddess, the way she uttered "Wait, give my brother back" had this tone of desperation no other VAs had in all the other dub languages.
I chose Lumine and played the game in Japanese. Personally, when I heard the voice lines on the menu I think her voice in English was the only one that I enjoyed more than in Japanese, I feel it adds a lot of personality to it🥰

Hear my theory:
The abyss twin is possessed. I am not sure about you, but in this clip lumine sounds like she has two personalities, battling with each other.
And I think that is the case she had been possessed by some Kongreah spirits that take over her body, but she’s battling them to try to talk to Aether.
My theory is that at the end of HER journey she has gained all seven elements, and unlocked her ultimate power, but she was then defeated by the abyss and kidnapped. Then they drained her of her ultimate power. Or they corrupted her so that she and the leader of the abyss became one, and use her power for them
And the abyss is currently trying to get Aether goes through the exact same journeys through the seven nations to gain all the element as well so they can get Aether ultimate power as well, and then be able to get enough power to defeat the heavenly principle
I also think, maybe, Dainsleif was once travelling companions of our twin as well, and that was Dainsleifs mission after failing his nation- to make sure our twin to go through the nations, like paimon right now.
But during the journey, Dainsleif grew attached to our twin and does not want to hand them to the abyss anymore, and tried to betray the abyss and free them (he was obviously hopeless about kongreah getting back anyway) (and I use them/they)
And this was why the abyss, and the new soul in our abyss twin, is so in spite of Dainsleif because he not only failed the nation, but also had attempted to betray to save our twin
This is also why, in Dainsleif trailer, he said he hope we were more equipted to saving the twin. Because he also failed the twin in attempt to save them.
And also why in the traveller trailer our twin said we couldn’t reunite just yet: because they were possessed and had to finish their mission by the abyss soul before breaking free and able to go with us
And also why, according to nahida, our twin disappeared at Sneznaya because they got kidnapped.
As for why our twin was not a decender, two possibilities: one, because the abyss had manipulated the Irmensol as well to make our twin forever the Abyss property- OR nahida meant the existence of that soul in her body is always in this world- maybe the soul was even a clone of our twin! And that made it seem like the abyss twin was from the world,
I mostly want to go with the direction that Irmensol was manipulated. I think they did it to manipulate our twin into believing that had always been a property of the abyss. Maybe that was a step done to corrupt them, to make them listen and be obedient, while that soul use their power. Maybe that didn’t work because she was a decender, however her data in the Irmensol was already changed because of that
But this meant that they were now totally under the possession of the abyss and the abyss had drained enough personal data out of her to change her data in the Irmensol
So I think the story goes like this:
Lumine woke up much prior to her brother. After traveling with Dainsleif as her companion around teyvat she learned the truth about the gods, their wars, and pain they caused to the land. she founded Khaenri'ah, a nation without a god that would unite all people under one nation without being under the mercy of any god good or wicked, and became its princess. She led them and shared her wide knowledge from the worlds she has been already to create mass production of progressed weapons. the nation threatened the gods and the natural order. so the gods (or a certain god) punished them as in the storyline. Lumine was on a run, she woke up aether in the midst of the overrun by the gods, so they could escape to another world. The 'unknown god' caught them and that's why she said "the arrogation of mankind ends here".
I believe Lumine tried to create this ideal world she wants for her and her brother and that's why she traveled world after world with him until she succeeds. That's until the unknown god had enough.
hmmm i agree mostly except about the twin's purpose to find or create an ideal world, I just cant imagine that, cuz u know, we dont even know who the twins are really and I bet their purpose was at least before, not destructive at all

This completely fits with what i think happened, but I think the twins getting blocked by the unknown god was before the traveler woke up and the khaenri'ah stuff the abyss twin went through. When traveler tells the story to paimon traveler mentions that their powers were taken away and they had gotten separated from their sibling. I mean Lumine definitely went for revenge after Khaenri'ah was destroyed, she wouldn't attempt to flee that world

@@chael.9662 Khaenri'ah created an army of advanced machines. all the ruin guards you encountered and even the enormous ones in Sumeru, even Scaramouche and Raiden Shogun puppets (machines) were created based on Khaenri'ah's technology, and they both wield elemental energy without Celestia's gods bestowing visions upon them. you can see why they've become a threat to the natural order.

@@AJ-jy6jq Actually no. Based on dialogue not everyone has a wind glider license. Dialogue from the windblume festival hints this with the knights tunring the other way during the festivities.
If anything, it only makes sense for Amber because she glides in places that are restricted for gliding. Got a feeling most of the city in lore is gliding restricted.

I just realize when Aether was chasing Lumine to the portal She, Abyss Herald and Dain had a blue glow going through the portal while Aether had a red glow when he was chasing her meaning there's something you need to have or do in order to be able to use the portal.. Meaning or possibly another element. Perhaps an artificial one like "Abyss" but hey that's just a theory

To think I kinda predicted that this would happen ( not specifically, like the whole abyss stuff ). Since most sibling or someone close to the character you play as, joins the opposite side your in ( either it's because of brainwashing or being controlled )
I like how everyone calls the traveler by his nickname given by players but lumine and aether still call them by their actual names
Edit: low key the traveler's twin probaly don't give a shit about our nickname we gave while everyone in teyvat does. They just call them by their actual names while their antagonist reaction is like "yo lumine/aether why the fuck the player gave you a cringy ass name I'd rather call you brother/sister for years rather then that shit"

That is most likely the thing, the god who seperated aether and lumine has to be the god of time, sealing the other sibling in a copy of the world and changing the pasts and futures of every event making it seem that our side is the bad side and their side the good side for the other sibling

I just realized something, when the twins were separated in the beginning doesn't that mean either one or a few things. Either: 1) they were both sent back more then 500 years into the past but only one of them was awake the entire time while the other was hidden away asleep, 2) one was sent to the past while the other was sent to the future, or 3) they were both traveling during the whole Khaenri'ah event not getting involved but when they were separated one was either put to sleep or sent to the future while the other was stuck in the current time looking for the other and helping during the event, the same way the player character is helping while looking for their sibling. Also why were they stuck in the world at all? They were leaving the world in the first place, was that god that stuck them there even a god from that world or one from the world they were going to or one from a world they went to before that was looking for them? The god that stuck them there doesn't even LOOK like one from this world.

I play as Lumine(chosen twin) and it's so cool to see that Lumine's(not the chosen twin) english VA says the lines with such a fierce tone for Aether(chosen twin), while Aether's(not the chosen twin) english VA looks sad and worried while talking to the Lumine(chosen twin)
Never did I think a video game could make me cry, when I got to this scene I almost started bawling it was so sad

So, from what I gathered, while Lumine seems to despite Dainslef, he on the other hand only reacted sadly, anguished to this (this can be seen by his sad "Lumine..." line). I guess that whatever war happen 500 years ago while Lumine was trying to help the people, maybe Dainslef stood on the sideline. Remember, from the game trailer months ago, we saw Lumine desperately running through a place engulfed in fire and destruction (I guess it was Khaen'riah) but see no sign of others helping her. Whether because they all died or some other reason I'm not sure but seeing that Dain is still alive, I guess they decide to let Destiny runs its course.
The cause of the war might be because the other Archons envy? Angry? at how Khaen'riah still flourishes without the intervene of the Gods. We did know one of the reasons why Khaen'riah falls was because of how advanced it was. Maybe Khaen'riah was getting a bit too prideful because of that so they made the Archons angry? I guess that Lumine at that time had finished her journey and decide to stay at Khaen'riah due to how advance it was, which would surely help her find her brother (assuming she was like Aether, hoping to find each other so they can be reunited again). Maybe that was when the Archons attacked and Lumine, who just like her brother jumps in to help Mondstatd, decide to help the Khaen'riah people. However, she might have come too late and all the people were turned into a twisted version of themself ( hilichurls, abyss mages, abyss herald). Angry at how the Royal Guards failed at protecting the people, she might have agreed to join the abyss to get revenge. The Cryo Archons, 500 years later, might felt guilty about the destruction of Khaen'riah so she set out to retrieve the power from other Archons so she could fix the people back. Or she might have a more sinister plan (though I'm leaning more toward the first, seeing that the characters describe her as soft-hearted. Also the description of the Cryo ascension stone was quite literally said "sorry").
Dwelling more on Dainslef and Lumine's relationship, I guess that he was her travelling partner when she came into this world much like our relationship with Paimon. Maybe they meet at Mondstadt and he agreed to guide her through this world (he could be on a mission and she simply tags along) or Lumine wakes up in Khaen'riah itself. Whatever the circumstances, they seem to become closer through the journey. That might be the reason why Lumine hate him so much now. It hurts a lot more when the person whom you hold close to betraying you (intentional or not). But Dainslef, however, might still believe that he can get his old travel partner back by taking down the abyss.
So TL:DR Lumine and Dainslef used to travel together until the Khaen'riah war happens, which Lumine blame Dainslef for (partly or wholely) and they no longer travel together. The war might be caused by the Archons because of how good Khaen'riah is despite not having a God. And the whole Fatui collecting Gnosis deal might be because the Cryo Archon want to correct their old mistake. Sorry if this is too long, it's my first time doing theory like this. If this was your original theory, you might want to make a yt video voicing over what u have written, if ur comfortable enough. And if ur lucky it might even blow up (As theories are trending rn) . I have a theory about Tsaritsa. Zhongli said the new Dendro archon is only 500 years old, that's the same time when Khaenriah was destroyed. It's also implied that the new archon is basically stupid and also Sumeru somehow became a desert in that time. The Dendro archon is meant to be the god of wisdom, so my theory is I think the old Dendro archon became too wise and "woke" and tried to help Khaenriah, and in return he was killed and replaced with the newer archon. It could also be possible that the Tsaritsa (god of love) was in love with the old Dendro archon and became cold and distant after he was killed, secretly plotting to get revenge and take down the gods and Celestia when she realised how flawed the system is.
One interesting theory I saw somewhere about the Tsarita is that they might be collecting the gnosis either to get stronger to go against celestia (which was kinda hinted on trailer) or they are collecting it to see who among the seven archon is a false god because their gnosis are made in likeness of a chess piece, so among the seven there might be one who either does not have a gnosis or have a completely different looking gnosis from the others.
Other theory is it can be that getting all chess pieces is a way to unlock celestia and meet with the higher ups and have a chance to battle against them, take over their power and rework the world of tevyat as they see fit (wether for the better or worse, we dont know yet)
I still think Lumine is used as a pawn without her knowing or he action will bring even worse consequences, wouldn't be surprised if that was the twist.
Maybe thats why zhongli gave his vision. Because, he knew he was at fault too?

Aether sounds so hurt and betrayed and Lumine sounds so rigid and resolute.
I just realized this is the first time we hear they say their true name instead of the name we gave to them when we play as Aether or Lumine. Others pretty much call them "Traveler" or the nickname we gave to them. Which could also mean we never trusted this world to begin with, that's why we introduced ourselves with the nickname.
No lol, the mc you picked will call out the other twin's name at the beginning of the game.
Or it's just a gameplay reason. Remember, we choose the name in the beginning.
@@ZeroConZx ik i heard it from the start, but that was the selected twin who yelled "Aether/Lumine". What i meant is that this is the first time we hear the selected twin's name and it came from the missing sibling. It's weird if he/she calls us 'Traveler'.
