- In this video I talk about my regrets of selling my Lionel Conrail TMCC crane & Boom car but I found another set new old stock in boxes. I show the crane in action by loading a freight car truck onto the boom car.

Glad you got it back! It's such a cool set! I'm hoping to find the Chessie System version for a good price someday. - Ryan
I don't think that I have ever seen one. Hopefully you find it so that we can see it on video
I’ve sold cool trucks and cars that I regret. Not enough space and $. Nice set.
Thanks much
Very nice. I have the MTH PRR set so it's not tmcc.
I really hope you got a shot of foul before you went over that adjacent track. Lol
I also have the MTH Premier Conrail crane in both blue and black along with the crane tender for each. You can see them run in my video called Conrail Super Crane Train
Very cool! Thanks for demonstrating this. I’ve never seen a remote control crane work before.
Thanks for watching!
Another Great video Shawn!
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Shawn, I have also sold items that I eventually regretted and rebought them, I think most of us in the hobby have done it!
Thanks for sharing your story
When it comes to locomotive performance (especially steam locomotives) Legacy is markedly better than TMCC. But when it comes to the crane and boom car, the TMCC system is just as good as the Legacy version so you can't go wrong with either version except perhaps paying too much for a Legacy version. Other than that, they are both beautiful, highly detailed scale models.
I have found in some instances where the sounds of steam have a better sounding bass on certain TMCC locomotives versus the Legacy counterpart.
@@Dakman Actually, you're right, I forgot about that for a bit but some TMCC steam sounds ARE better than Legacy.
I bought an MTH Conrail SD60 standard cab non powered engine around 2021. I sold it this year and now I'm asking why?? Non powered engines are difficult to find. Why did I sell it? Now I have it saved in my ebay searches if one ever comes up again.
Yeah, finding any MTH Premier non powered locomotives is hard. If you do they want ridiculous prices on Ebay.
@Dakman yea I sold it for $170 when I probably could have asked for much more. I don't like scamming people though.
Yes a video on operating the TMCC CRANE & TENDER CAR would be very helpful using cab 2 remote !
I will put that on a list of videos to create
@@Dakman Thanks Very Much !
Great piece Shawn.
Thanks much
