Mauricio Pochettino already knows what he wants, there are reports that Joao Felix won't be in the Chelsea squad for next season and he's being sent back to Atletico Madrid and that's a big decision. It's the offseason and we know that the transfer window hasn't started but Pochettino already has plans for his squad and the start of a new season in terms of managerial changes and incoming transfers is July 1st, he's planning for next season.
Chelsea can't sign anyone without dumping a ton of the salary bill they've rung up. I'd be surprised if Chelsea make a huge splash this summer.

On joao, everybody wants to rate him cuz he scored "inconsistently " in a team playing mediocre. So Ale is right, not reliable and athletico has played better and scored more without him. So given the presence of mudryk, nkunku n sterling...his flashes of potential are not enough to command a permanent move. He's worth at most 25 and maybe 30 mil cuz of his name.
And his wages count against this ffp period.
Felix just needs a manager to believe in him there's a great player in there just misused
Ale's takes are so impossibly bad. Poch doesn't want or need Felix because he occupies the same role that Nkunku does and he's already coming in. Felix is on insane wages and was one of the costliest loans in the history of the Prem this past season. If Havertz stays you already have a second player who occupies the same role sitting underneath a striker, that Chelsea actually needs to buy, along with a DM and preferably a first-choice goalkeeper. All of those will be costly and the funds need to be appropriated for that. And then Ale says the market for Pulisic is shrinking when Ogden has just reported that 7-8 clubs are all interested in him. Anyone with eyes can see that Pulisic has talent and would be an asset at a lot of clubs; he's had incredibly bad luck with injuries preventing him from sustaining solid form in the Prem. The Prem might be too physical but that wouldn't stop him from succeeding in Serie A or La Liga and he'll probably wind up at a big club in one of those. Honestly there is a shocking level of ball knowledge among the pundits on this show compared to every other football crew, utterly embarrassing and Ale is the worst one.

Pulisic has his time with his national team to prove how great of a player he is. He even showed out in Chelsea's UCL run against Real Madric. He was let down more so by injuries when he was on form, meanwhile Felix has none of that or whatsoever to prove that he deserves to be with the big boys. People just talk about his skills and talent and he does not even have a good defining moment in which you can remember him of by.
Having a couple good games isn't proof he's a top player. Top players play at the top consistently.
I guess these guys never heard about working remotely. Him being unveiled etc is just a formality, clearly he's been working behind the scenes by using the time between now and then to organize and sort certain things out. Plus players are looking to go on vacation so what's the big hoopla about? Then Frank is saying he hasn't proven anything like really? A former team just got relegated which hasn't been the same since he left and another still trying to find someone who could match what he did and achieved with a less talented team than Chelsea and the other he just couldn't progress with any further due to the egos of stars etc. So the arguments are pointless.
With regards to Felix and Pulisic, the teams and coaches haven't been consisent at Chelsea so the inconsistent performances has to be down mainly to that amongst other things.
Pochettino will not start OFFICIALLY until 1st July, it's obvious the wonder (ex) players at ESPN don't understand but there'll be lots going on with Poch behind the scenes.
As for Felix, he's a LOAN player, not something Poch wants as he builds his squad and the club are certainly not going to buy Felix at the price being asked.
Chelsea is a mess they say, well yes but the upheaval is born out of the enforced sale of the club. It will take years to get back to what Abramhovic built but I'm sire they will get there.
