Bonus Debate Video 2: Defending What You Hate

In this bonus video to our Introduction to Debate series, we discuss one of the more challenging issues in formal debate: what to do when you have been assigned to defend a position that you find indefensible. We'll look at an actual example from my own coaching experience, and we'll learn 3 strategies for getting around the emotional or moral barriers standing in your way:
1. do your research
2. find an angle, and
3. defend your angle
This video is primarily focused on Public Forum Debate, but the lessons should be broadly applicable to almost any form of debate where competitors must debate both sides.
