I am 72 yrs.today. Since my childhood I used to enjoy Guitar from Sardar Hazara Singh or The Great Van Shipley. But today I discovered that there is someone who is equally great player of Guitar as the Two legends. God bless you.

Just can't imagine how to commend this peice of music, it's so touching and so sweet, just no words to explain how I feel listening to it. A big and huge applause to the presenter who deserves so much appreciation, music lover from Srilanka.
I m utterly surprised and sad when some people give a "thumbs down" to such beautiful music recreations.
It's quite common that some people are unable to tolerate / appreciate the talent of others & tend to discourage them.
It is the parents who need to educate their children right from the beginning, never to compare themselves with anyone & extend jealousy acts against someone better than them; instead accept & appreciate someone better than them & independently improve their talent / knowledge.
Parents also need to motivate their children never to get upset by the acts of false criticism / jealousy against them by others; instead take them positive & keep on improving their talent / knowledge. The quote "Whoever is trying to put you down, is Already Below you" holds good.
Let me share an incident:
During my III B. Pharm. in 1985 at the age of 19 yrs, I had derived a new mathematical equation in Micromeritics & sent a letter to Prof. Dr. Alfred Martin, University of Texas at Austin, USA, author of his world-famous "Physical Pharmacy" textbook. He quickly replied, appreciating the derivation & also mentiomed that he would refer my equation in the forthcoming editions of his book. In 1993, I was surprised to receive a free parcel from USA containing the 4th new edition of his textbook mentioning my name & equation in the chapter of Micromeritics! Today, my equation is taught to all B. Pharm. students around the world & is known as "Rao's Equation in Micromeritics".
Hats off to this great Prof. Dr. Martin & all those who appreciate the work / talent of others.
Pray for them, they are DEAF.
Perhaps those who are unfortunate to understand connection of soul and music.

Simply the domain of soul, or atma in Hinduism or the spirit Christianity or the ruh in Sufi Islam or the shunyata in Buddhism or mother nature in general atheist understanding; any word that simply means the connection of soul and music.🙂

Growing up in the pacific Islands and Hawaii, I would hear steel guitar music all the time, especially in Island songs and country music, but I would have never imagined how perfect this instrument would be for the Desi/Evergreen music genre. It perfectly mimics human voicings and singing styles of Indian songs. Thanks for sharing this music with us. Much appreciated.
